  1. Darcy had his own personal breathalyzer kit and shortly before his first race was planning to test himself. Had he been over he would have withdrawn from the meeting as he's a responsible caring individual.
  2. Yes it does. And again yes it does, just not in your trolling world. You're arguing against facts, which means only one thing, you're trolling. Again.
  3. No, I'm not wrong. It's a FACT. It makes zero difference how much you troll, stamp your feet or act like an attention seeking child, Craig Cook is British Number 2 and an International. Many riders can be 'better on their day' than others.... but that is irrelevant. What matters is what they do on the right day. In this case, the British Final. Craig Cook was 2nd, so is the British Number 2. Leigh Adams was far better than Nicki Pedersen on his day.. however Nicki Pedersen was World No 1 3 times, Leigh Adams wasn't.
  4. 1: Cook came 2nd in the 2014 British Final, so is the British No 2. 2: Cook has ridden for Great Britain in the World Cup so is an international rider.
  5. 1: Cook came 2nd in the 2014 British Final, so is the British No 2. 2: Cook has ridden for Great Britain in the World Cup so is an international rider.
  6. Craig Cook is the British No 2, courtesy of his 2nd place finish in the British Final. Craig Cook has raced in the World Cup and as such is an 'international rider'. Wrong on both counts.. again.
  7. Folk, ignore this troll. He chooses something everyone is in agreement with on most threads and will argue the opposite no matter what.
  8. Will people just shut up about 'get any more farcical'. It's rained. Nothing can be done.
  9. I have no idea what you are saying Sidney. You seem to have contradicted yourself over and over in that post.
  10. And tell me, which of those five or six had inferior equipment. You only have to look at the last GP as a perfect example. Jarek Hampel had the setup perfect and romped to a 21pt maximum. He's been dire in the rest of the series. Troy Batchelor another classic example. Part of the art of being a successful speedway rider is the ability to set up your bike correctly.. you also need more and more nowadays to have the right team behind you who can assist in this aspect. An average rider riding spot on equipment will beat a good rider on poor equipment the majority of the time. Nicki Pedersen for example.... talent wise, is he one of the best?? Many would say not.. but he has always had immaculate equipment and often had the setup perfect.
  11. Ah the rest of the season.. well strangely he's been contending at the top of the standings the whole season too.. Last season folk were moaning it was a Woffy love-in. As for Hampel he was given more than adequate praise, it's just that some of you decide not to hear it and only focus on your agendas. There was a lot of praise of Hampel's brilliant performance and comments of how you couldn't predict it etc. As for the 'focus'. With one round to go in the World Championship, the main focus, quite rightly is on the race for being World Champion rather than the individual GP.
  12. Nobody has said that Sidney. What has been said is without the very best equipment/setup you don't have a chance. There's very very little between the worlds top riders, the engine/setup plays the biggest part at the highest level.
  13. Nicki was in the thick of the action, usually being overtaken, which wasnt boring at all. The Hancock 'love in' is due to him being on the verge of becoming world champion. It's a pattern you don't seem to have noticed.. The top riders will get talked about the most, for good reason.
  14. Good old Sidney. An actual event that happened...dismissed as pure fantasy.
  15. Stephen Morris, reserve rider for Wolverhampton. Retired due to blowing all his engines up. Final meeting Sam Ermolenko gave him a bike to ride.. He scored paid 20 from 7 I believe. Yes you have to have the ability, but at the top level machinery is the MOST important thing.
  16. Every famous commentator has stock phrases. Perhaps invisibility cloaks are a big seller in Sweden?
  17. Well cricket commentators change every 45 minutes or so. Golf there is always something new to talk about. Usually many players in action, the ball in different locations, different shots to be taken. Speedway is repetitive. 4 riders from the same starts on the same track every race
  18. The total points stuff is the most important information of all... It matters not what you're concerned with. You're suggesting that commentators on a speedway GP don't mention who is winning the championship and the change in standings as it happens? Seriously? Bizzare.
  19. No they aren't. When eurosport go to adverts, they are still on. Eurosport just dip in and out of the world feed. How exactly do you research beforehand what will happen in a meeting. Commentators in other sports are provided with such information by a team behind the scenes.
  20. As do all commentators in a 3 hour show with approx 23 mins of action. I'm far from persons biggest fan but it seems all some want to do is moan moan moan. That's something it is fair to criticize them... Or actually criticize those supplying them with the information.
  21. You are talking absolute rubbish. If a team takes the lead and it takes them top of the table, yes they go on about it. Besides, your point is invalid anyway. Remind me what happens after EVERY football match when the points change? They show and discuss the standings. Speedway is different as every heat is in effect a match.. And after it the standings will change. What do you expect him to do? Not talk about it? You are suggesting that riders racing for the world title are letting hamper beat them? Just when you think this forum can't get any more ridiculous.
  22. Because it's important that's why. Ridiculous thing to complain about. It is the same in every single sport there is.. And as the race is so close of course it's going to be constantly talked about.
