Once again your inability to read and process what is typed lets you down.

Wolves V Coventry Monday 30th March
BWitcher replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
You're just the type of most speedway promoters love. Unfortunately, whereas there used to be lots of you, most have woken up and seen the light or simply passed on. It's little wonder that Poole do so well each year, their promoter is intelligent, makes the right decisions the majority of the time to maximise his teams chances of winning. Others, as we have seen, do not. -
You are wrong, because as SCB states, the second definition doesn't put forward a second opinion. It is the same thing. Once you consume alcohol, ANY amount of alchohol, you are impaired and by definition drunk. What can be debated is the level at which you are impaired and therefore the levels to which you are drunk.. that wasn't the debate. Ah yes, when the English language was devised, they built in special definitions solely for Poole riders.

It doesn't matter.. It seems 'what if' is the new fashion in speedway. "What if" it rains. Better call it off. -
Keep trolling.

Postponed because it might rain. Sport becoming more and more mickey mouse with each passing day. Ever seen a cricket match, 20/20 for example, postponed in advance because it 'might rain'? I actually hope it doesn't rain till later. -
So you've interjected into a thread to make a personal insult.. even worse. As regards your NPD claims, having the ability to understand and articulate why you are correct in an argument doesn't mean you suffer from 'NPD'. It simply means you're an adult capable of a literate level of communication. What we can draw from this though is you choose to abuse the literate, correct person and not the incorrect abusive person. That says all we need to know about your good self.

4 pts? No guarantee at all that was more than Musielak would have scored. He was more likely to go well at Cov first meeting than Monmore. -
Yes, it is. I've proved that I have the intelligence to put across an argument, something which you sadly have failed to do, instead resorting to trolling in defence of a troll.

So two muppet management teams then. -
I have no need. If you're not adult enough to accept when you are wrong, that is your issue. Personally I would rather politely point out when someone is wrong and give an explanation as to why, than simply be wrong and call people names when it's pointed out I am wrong. Your response speaks volumes.
-
Except you haven't pointed it out, you've simply confirmed that starman is once again wrong.
-
Incorrect. The Oxford dictionary confirms it as well. Any intake of alcohol impairs you. Unless you want to argue against science?
-
If you're not happy, go take it up with Merriam-Webster dictionary who say:- Full Definition of DRUNK 1 a : having the faculties impaired by alcohol b : having a level of alcohol in the blood that exceeds a maximum prescribed by law <legally drunk> 2 : dominated by an intense feeling <drunk with rage> 3 : relating to, caused by, or characterized by intoxication : drunken <drunk driving>

You've stated that the person who was speaking 100% correctly was talking rubbish. That is the information required in this situation.
-
So you seem quite happy for lunatics to rave on with wrong information, but don't like it when someone politely corrects them and not only that, explains why they were wrong. I would take that as something positive, an opportunity to learn something. Sadly for many these days they can't seem to handle being wrong. There is no shame in it, we are all wrong from time to time.
-
No, he speaks the English language. He has quoted the definition of the word drunk in the English language. Now forgive me, but when determining the meaning of a word, I, like SCB, would side with dictionaries over yourself and Starman.

Not good enough. Karlsson outpaced in Heat 14 by Danny King. Too old. -
As predicted earlier. Same old, same old. I wonder if each time you come out with the 'dishes' line you think you've just come up with something witty?

King's Lynn V Poole, Elite Shield, 26/03/15
BWitcher replied to Bagpuss's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I'm afraid that the reports show once again the the promoters of this sport are utterly clueless. It's reported that it was a freezing cold night, there had been long delays earlier in the meeting and yet they still hold an interval. This is precisely how you lose fans. It's reported quite a number left early.. now of course some of those will be back next week but it's highly likely a few of them won't and will have left feeling short changed and unappreciated (rightly so). How different it could have been if they had announced that they were going to push the meeting through with no interval as they were aware of what a cold night it was for the paying public! That sends fans home feeling appreciated. It really is so very simple, basic customer service.... -

Shall we start a petition to drop all charges... "Freedom to drunk drive". -

Nothing cynical about having little time for repeat drunk drivers. Just because he can ride a speedway bike doesn't excuse him from his actions. -

Yep, fantastic. More power to the drunk drivers! If only all employers stood by them so much we could have more of them terrorising the roads. -
