  1. Correct. Adams is a disgrace tonight, seems happy with a loss. No inspiration, no motivation.
  2. Is the ref operating from a different rule book tonight? Was Doyle warned for moving at the start in the last race? Just as Becker should have been in the race that Jensen should have been excluded.
  3. It's a tv meeting, absolute nonsense. Hence it has NEVER happened before. There is no 'swing and roundabout' in that circumstance, just absolute mockery of rules. Matters not anyway, the moment the rain came, it was all over.
  4. It was brilliant for Wolves he did. Braindead move when his partner was Perks of gate 4.. 2nd place would have been a brilliant result for Perks.
  5. Am I losing my mind here, Jensen touched the tapes there? How the hell can he be allowed to score in that race? Has anyone ever ever in a TV meet seen a rider touch the tapes and be allowed to stay in?
  6. The two incidents are not connected. I'll ask again why you are concocting such a ridiculous excuse for someone storming a referees box. If said person is responsible to educating youngsters learning the way in the sport he is most certainly the wrong man for the job. What a pathetic example he is setting on how to react when a decision against you. It won't be the last time, that is for sure.
  7. Craig Cook is irrelevant to this incident. The SCB acted correctly. If someone, kid or not, is not mentally strong enough to cope with such an incident they shouldn't be racing in the first place.
  8. Your dislike of Hancock is reaching laughable proportions now. You're as bad as Adonis/Speedibee with Woffinden. What you mean to say is there is literally zero evidence that he ISN'T capable of competing. There's 30 odd years of evidence stating that he IS capable of competing.
  9. And Adonis, perhaps he's reading it on his latest 'holiday' from the forum.
  10. Once again Woffinden laughs in the face of his jealous detractors.
  11. Obviously not. He should be given a wild card because he QUALIFIED in his last GP season. Significant difference to those who get them when outside the top 8.
  12. Because Lamberts very best year so far isn't a patch on Hancocks worst GP year.
  13. Pedersen finished outside of the top 8. Hancock did not. Age is utterly irrelevent. If he is still in the top 8 at age 80 and wants to carry on, he does so. If he rides next year, falls outside the top 8, then you don't give him a wildcard the following year. Simple as that. If you think taking the time out to look after your sick wife is a 'mockery', then so be it. It doesn't matter whether he's 25, 35,45 or 50. He should only be applauded for that. There is one reason and one reason alone you don't want him picked... you don't like him.
  14. Of course it's a crackpot statement to make.. but that's the kind of crackpot nonsense that regularly crops up on this forum. I was being totally sarcastic. Unfortunately, the opening post was akin to the thinking that has gone into the promotion of British Speedway for so many years now... hence the mess it finds itself in. The number 3 is the USA is MASSIVE.
  15. You're right, I was in the pub recently and I happened to mention this and the place broke down in hysterics. They couldn't believe there was a sport where a competitor kept the same number all season. What a tinspot sport it must be was the general observation. Some swore they would never watch or attend any event where a competitor/athlete has the same number all season long. Name another sport that does it was the most common question asked.. in between the laughter that is!
  16. Yeah, offering a 4 time World Champion who rightfully qualified before his wife's illness sure does 'make a mockery'. He deserves a place until it's proven he isn't up to it anymore.
  17. Yes of course it's irrelevant stating that Wolves, IF they had the choice, would have preferred to have been at home first on a thread regarding the fixture where it is now the away leg first. How foolish of me. It is even more 'relevant' when you are claiming that Wolves have a 'massive advantage' now by having the home leg 2nd. The point I made completely refutes that.
  18. Given a choice Wolves tend to choose the home leg first so it's not something they would have wanted.
  19. Good to see you were professional and took your job seriously.
  20. Why would he be shy about blowing his own trumpet? How many other 3 x World Individual Speedway Champions does GB have?
  21. This was so good it wasn't until I saw the replies I realised it wasn't Gustix! Brilliant stuff
  22. Yes of course, never read it, just have it on your bookshelf in the background but comment expertly on it. Probably best to start your own Facebook group about it.
  23. I'm afraid you'll now forever more be bracketed with Adonis, Sidney and Gustix.. a combination of the three if you like and their 'traits'. The only way out is to buy the book..
