Which tells you that Premier League has been ripping you off for a long time. After all, we're told the reason Elite League prices are so 'high' is because of the extortionate wages paid to the No 1's... Yet Premier League doesn't have those and has for quite some time been charging at many tracks only £1 to £2 less....
-
No, it is charging very close to Elite League prices!

100% spot on. He couldn't even get his story straight in his tweets. Firstly it's the equipment isn't his, it's all new.. it's like 'starting again'. Damn it must be hard when riders get new equipment at the start of a season.. Then it was because he was riding as a heat leader... Then, knowing that isn't going to save him from stick he throws in Rico to protect himself... now if Rico was the issue, the above two points would be completely irrelevant and wouldn't get a mention.
-
No, that's the guy peddling out the excuses. Always some mugs who fall for them though.
-
No it didn't. "I'm getting stick again here, let's think of something to buy me some sympathy again.. I know.. Got no bikes... damn.,. used that one.. I know.. Depression!... oops used that one too.. quick recovery though, I was lucky there.. Oh wait, Lee Richardson died 3 years ago, that will do.. they won't notice I was racing for another 2 years in between."

Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?
BWitcher replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
What do you mean, the likes of Pedersen? He doesn't ride in the UK. People still think it's all about the money in the UK. The reality is the schedule keeps riders away more. Many have said, including Tai and Hancock that if it was fixed night racing then they would race here. That doesn't mean we have to change to accommodate them, but it illustrates that it's the schedule moreso than the money that keeps some of the top guys away. -
Unbelievable people still fall for the sob stories Bridger puts out.

More anti-Australian ramblings. There are plenty of Danes, who like Aussies have come over and started out in the Premier League, before progressing onto the EL. A certain 3 time World Champion for one. Not that I am criticising them, just pointing out, once again, you're talking nonsense. -

Is it these slow engines that make him ride out of control on a consistent basis? I've lost count of how many times I've seen him leading races and lose it.. -

I disagree completely. The opposite is the case. i.e. Elite League fixtures need to be on different days to Premier League fixtures. Bank Holidays is however a problem whatever the format whilst riders are doubling up/down. -

Yep, Nicholls doesn't ride for GB because of BSI. Just exactly how do you come to that conclusion? -

He is riding as 2nd heat leader TNT. So Lindgren would have been able to take a RR also. It's immaterial now tbh as Lakeside have such a poor team it will be a walkover. -

Don't worry. Sensible speedway fans do. It's only a few jealous haters. -

Badly worded sorry, by you, I meant Lakeside and you've confirmed the point I was making really! i.e. Awful decision. -
Ah yes I know it, very nice. We stayed not far away, (Olhos de Agua) a couple of years ago on a visit. Have a good one.

In terms of results on the track there won't be any risk involved with signing Darcy and any club who are able to do so would be foolish not to at least try.

Yep, and you picked him for Heat 15! -
haha, far from being accosted, if I saw anyone over here wearing a speedway shirt of any team I'd be sure to say hi and buy them a drink if possible. Regardless of any disagreements on here we're all speedway fans and that transcends any club loyalties or disagreements on rules. Weather is picking up nicely Skidder so you look set for a good 2 weeks. Whereabouts are you staying?

Rode well, just ran out of steam a little towards the end. Good to see another young one enter the mix. What on earth are you babbling about now??
-
Technically, we weren't Someone made a false claim they didn't know how to fill in the Cardiff programme.. then another one jumped in saying its more complicated than you think due to the TR. There is no TR at Cardiff at all. You are right of course however, it doesn't make it complicated at all. In fact you could argue it was more complicated with the old Tac sub rule
-
At Cardiff?? Dear me.. this forum gets worse. No it wasn't a good point. It was a totally irrelevant point. The discussion was regarding Cardiff, if you could point to me when there has ever been a tactical ride or a golden double at Cardiff, then it becomes a 'good point'. But, lets go with it for one moment.. are you saying a speedway fan is incapable of doubling 1, 2 or 3? They learn their x2 tables quite young these days. Hardly as the overwhelming majority of fans who stopped going did so long before any changes to the tac sub rules came in.
-
How amusing, given that you have been equally as vocal and made as many posts.. most of them arguing against the FIM ruling.. then finally agreeing with it.. Very hot thankyou, currently sat in the garden of a holiday home in an old time village in the mountains outside Lisbon enjoying a few heats of the GP.
-
What are you going to prove, that there are people discussing a 'controversy' in speedway on a speedway forum? Well done!
-
Time and again this forum amazes me with people living in cloud cuckoo dreaming up posts that don't exist. Who has said speedway is 'better off without Ward'? Even the most ardent Poole fans agreed he was deserving of a ban for his transgression. As for anti-Poole, no poster on this forum has made the ruling the FIM has. Perhaps they are anti-Poole? The debate is regarding the interpretation of the FIM ruling and its effects on speedway in the UK. It's a very valid debate, given this is a speedway forum. Both sides have put forward their argument and in the main it has been kept quite civil. Finally, you 'get a life' comments are again ill-thought out as there are posters who post the opposite side of the debate, as is their right.. yet you only aim your 'get a life' comments at one group. I'm pretty sure most, if not all, the posters on this forum have 'a life' regardless of the content or quantity of their posts.
