Depression!... oops used that one too.. quick recovery though, I was lucky there.. Oh wait, Lee Richardson died 3 years ago, that will do.. they won't notice I was racing for another 2 years in between."

Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?
BWitcher replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
What do you mean, the likes of Pedersen? He doesn't ride in the UK. People still think it's all about the money in the UK. The reality is the schedule keeps riders away more. Many have said, including Tai and Hancock that if it was fixed night racing then they would race here. That doesn't mean we have to change to accommodate them, but it illustrates that it's the schedule moreso than the money that keeps some of the top guys away. -
Unbelievable people still fall for the sob stories Bridger puts out.

Leicester V Poole Monday 25/05/15

More anti-Australian ramblings. There are plenty of Danes, who like Aussies have come over and started out in the Premier League, before progressing onto the EL. A certain 3 time World Champion for one. Not that I am criticising them, just pointing out, once again, you're talking nonsense. -
Wolves V Lakeside Hammers 25/05/15

Is it these slow engines that make him ride out of control on a consistent basis? I've lost count of how many times I've seen him leading races and lose it.. -

I disagree completely. The opposite is the case. i.e. Elite League fixtures need to be on different days to Premier League fixtures. Bank Holidays is however a problem whatever the format whilst riders are doubling up/down. -

Yep, Nicholls doesn't ride for GB because of BSI. Just exactly how do you come to that conclusion? -

He is riding as 2nd heat leader TNT. So Lindgren would have been able to take a RR also. It's immaterial now tbh as Lakeside have such a poor team it will be a walkover. -

Don't worry. Sensible speedway fans do. It's only a few jealous haters. -

Badly worded sorry, by you, I meant Lakeside and you've confirmed the point I was making really! i.e. Awful decision. -
In terms of results on the track there won't be any risk involved with signing Darcy and any club who are able to do so would be foolish not to at least try.

Yep, and you picked him for Heat 15! -
Technically, we weren't Someone made a false claim they didn't know how to fill in the Cardiff programme.. then another one jumped in saying its more complicated than you think due to the TR. There is no TR at Cardiff at all. You are right of course however, it doesn't make it complicated at all. In fact you could argue it was more complicated with the old Tac sub rule
-
At Cardiff?? Dear me.. this forum gets worse. No it wasn't a good point. It was a totally irrelevant point. The discussion was regarding Cardiff, if you could point to me when there has ever been a tactical ride or a golden double at Cardiff, then it becomes a 'good point'. But, lets go with it for one moment.. are you saying a speedway fan is incapable of doubling 1, 2 or 3? They learn their x2 tables quite young these days. Hardly as the overwhelming majority of fans who stopped going did so long before any changes to the tac sub rules came in.

Which makes the booking of Lasse Bjerre utterly ridiculous. He'll be taking rides that FOUR better riders than him could take. -
How so? What some don't seem to understand is that it is perfectly possible to criticise, even strongly criticise a rider for their actions but still then support them. Once his ban is up he is free to ride and I would gladly see him ride for Wolves. Does it mean I condone his prior actions? No. Does it mean I won't criticise him if he transgressed again? No.
-
He's given plenty of ammunition to do just that with! I will say this though, I'd still have in my team if it was possible.

You have GOT to be kidding me!!!! Lasse Bjerre??? As a heat leader??????? WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
You're just anti-Poole, go away from this thread, we darcy lovers don't want you here.
-
Over on the Poole 2015 thread, Skidder and some other gullible lackeys claim it's "Old News" that Ward was given the full reasoned decision on 7th April... Yet here was Skidder on 2nd May still taking pot shots at the FIM in defence of his beloved Darcy claiming he hadn't yet received it. So Skidder was either lying in his above post, or it isn't 'Old News' after all... and he was just another gullible Darcy lover.
-
Also of note is that the CDI notified its full reasoned decision to the parties on 7 April 2015. Yet we've been told that poor Darcy has been waiting for it by the Poole lackeys! Which begs the question of course.. where's the statement he promised? He's had the reasoned decision for 6 weeks.

Wolves V King's Lynn Monday 18th May
BWitcher replied to Wolfsbane's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Not so. Anyone with knowledge would know we were built as a side strong at home, particularly strong in the early stages of the season with PK at second string. We picked up an at the time surprise win away at Lakeside, who some thought were going to be ultra strong at home. That win has since been dampened by other teams also going there and winning. Last nights home defeat now means we won't be getting close to the playoffs without at least another away win (assuming remain unbeaten from now at home). I can't see where that win would come from. The injury situation has now made the situation worse. It's going to be a long season from here on in. -
Teamgb V. Great Britain?

Sadly, it wouldn't surprise me one iota if you actually believed it too....
