  1. Belle Vue I'm sure would have won the meeting with ease anyway, regardless of Batchelors alleged average reducing antics so it isn't a knock on them.
  2. Actually we know everything. Once again your blinkers are on. Doesn't stop you, Greg Hancock and others bringing up old news about Nicki Pedersen and justifying it for violence does it?
  3. Fair enough, I apologise for calling you a clown, one should attack the post, not the poster.
  4. Why do I need to do it in person? In my opinion that was a clownish thing to say, which by definition made you a clown for saying it at that time. Perhaps I could have chosen my words better. However, your response of 'come and say it to my face' is a Sidney line. Relax.
  5. Sigh, resorting to veiled threats of violence. Little wonder you support your buddy Greg. Greg doesn't even start running until Nicki is almost all the way back round to him, why is Nicki going to 'get off his bike' before then? You see perhaps Nicki doesn't consider fighting an appropriate way to go about things? Some call him a coward, I call him sensible.
  6. It doesn't matter what you think. Hancock was flat on his back with Nicki on top of him.
  7. What incident are you relating too here? As its certainly not the Hancock/Pedersen one. Hancock wasn't 'stuck in the fence' and neither was he doing anywhere close to 70+mph There are numerous platforms where people may have sent best wishes, be it facebook, twitter etc. One's where he might actually see it as we're told riders don't read the forum
  8. I see this kind of post a lot, but it's totally irrelevant and has no reflection on the forum at all. This is a thread with varying opinions over a subject that can be debated. Ben Barker's is an injury, there is nothing to debate. It's a sad, unfortunate injury but not something that is going to generate a lot of discussion.
  9. The forum was a decent place for a week or two.. Sadly you're back. The purpose of the Hancock video was two-fold. One to show that accidents happen, even involving Greg. Had that been Nicki on the inside people WOULD be claiming he'd wiped him out. Secondly, it has been stated that Nicki never checks on the well being of riders a few times.. there's evidence he does.
  10. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDhVCWiWCvs This video is amusing... Hancock wipes someone out, the woman decides another rider rode into Greg! Who's there checking they are ok?
  11. Sigh. No it wasn''t a 'superb wrestling take down'. It was an awful one as the result of it was Hancock flat on his back with Pedersen on top of him... if you're talking Olympic wrestling, Hancock has just lost. Judo... Hancock has just lost.. and if you want to discuss a UFC style of fight Hancock is now in position to be pounded on. All round it was a totally flawed attempt at retribution from Hancock and he was only rescued by his buddies.
  12. Surely tsunami means it was more than 25k? Why world a Wolves fan deram we had paĆd more than we had. If we did pay less, good work from cvs, bad work from tsunami. Wolves will nave recouped much if not all of it in loan fees over the years. Not really blaze, I think every wolves fan remembers said meeting. In a way that's the great thing about nicki.
  13. It's all well and good calling for bans on riders etc.. but where do you draw the line? Not everyone agrees that move from Nicki was all that bad. Hard yes, but there was a gap there, Hancock had made a mistake and drifted wide. There was a slight bit of contact, nothing more. Yet folk are up in arms and want a ban. Ban someone for that, you won't have many riders left come season end. Knock on effects are racers will be worried about trying to overtake, racing will become ever more dull and boring and you'll all be moaning about how great the sport was back in the day when we had 'characters' and riders that were hard and overtaking took place. Another knock on effect is, you already get riders taking dives in an attempt to get reruns and riders excluded.. it would be even worse with them trying to get someone banned.
  14. Childish statement from Hancock. It started well enough but soon descended. He did this, he did that. blah blah. He was scared of me I could tell.. Sounds like a 5 year old.
  15. If they read it they would be utterly disgusted as every other speedway fan would be at the suggestion of riders breaking necks.
  16. Here you are again with your despicable comments. Still trying to wriggle your way out of it. Interesting, not one single person has agreed with you or liked any of your exaggerated postings. This comment is just as bad. Any normal fan would PREFER that NO rider breaks their neck. As for its only a matter of time.. he's been riding 20 years.. how much more time do you want?
  17. For starters, the well trotted out line of 'putting their life on the line to entertain fans' is a ridiculous one as they don't do it for 'our entertainment'. They do it for their own enjoyment and to get paid. Secondly.. if we were to apply that theory then Hancock is one of the last names you would find on that list! Not a knock on him, I fully respect him as a rider, but one of the most entertaining he most certainly isn't.
  18. You can make equally long lists for Emil for starters. Zagar I witnessed making one of the most despicable moves I have ever seen on Buzz Burrows. Woffy has wiped out a number of fellow competitors. Gollob most certainly has. Holder too was no shrinking violet before his injury. See a pattern?
  19. Missing the point again. Woffinden executed a very clean pass, he was well clear of Hancock who himself made the error of continuing on that line when it was clear Woffinden would be coming onto it. A more applicable move would be the one Emil made on Tai, its very rare you see that done to Greg. It's not a conspiracy as you now seem to wish to call it, more likely a mark of respect. The point I have made is that gives Greg an advantage and in the sport of speedway where there can be a very fine line between success and failure at the highest level, that can be significant.
  20. What's this meant to prove? No hard moves pulled on Hancock there.. he was just passed. Try again.
  21. Giving him the wins is perhaps a bit strong. They don't deliberately let him win, what I am saying is they don't race Greg as hard as they race other riders. That gives Greg an advantage, one that he most certainly doesn't need.
  22. Go find me a race where one of the Monster Boys have given Greg a tough time in a race... Just one for starters will do. Holder, Ward, Woffinden etc, they're not shrinking violets, they've all made hard moves over the years... but rarely, if ever, on Greg. That's the reality. It's not something I even noticed myself until it was pointed out by others.. but once you look for it, there is, I believe, something in it. You don't think so, fair enough, but as I say, pay close attention you may change your mind.
