  1. Not really sure why the worry over Kings Lynn's play off place. The table, based upon points dropped at home v points gained away is as follows:- 1. Cov (-6 home) (+22 away) = +16 2. Poole (-5 home) (+19 away) = +14 3. Lynn (0 home) (+8 away) = +8 4. Vue (-5 home) (+11 away) = +6... 5. Wolves (-3 home) (+3 away) = 0 6. Swindon (-6 home) (+1 away) = -5 7. Lakeside (-12 home) (+1 away) = - 11 8. Leicester (-12 home) (0 away( = -12
  2. Spot on. I'm afraid the last couple of Sky league meetings have shown just how out of touch certain promoters are. The Glasgow and Swindon meets showed how Sky TV could be used as a tool to enhance the sport and in the long term drive up crowd figures, yet again they quite simply haven't learned a thing.
  3. They stated on Sky last night there are 16 British riders racing. Now, this can only be a positive thing yet already I have seen some of the usual naysayers piping up. 1: The track is laid well ahead of the normal schedule giving time to test it and iron out any potential issues. 2: It's giving British riders additional practice time which is something fans have been calling out for. Does it really matter who is or isn't riding in a practice session??
  4. Is it? Based on the points dropped at home, plus pts gained away Bellevue are 6 pts clear of wolves.. Who in turn are 5 ahead of Swindon.
  5. At first thought Musielak for sure, more I watched it, more I think he'd gone by and Kennett turned back into him. 50/50 call that one. Again, Wells riding totally the wrong line
  6. Yep and you get the impression, nobody really cares bar PK and to be fair Musielak has been damned good.
  7. "Lindgren at the back, which is a surprise" says Pearson.
  8. On a one line track (outside) it is absolutely unforgiveable for Wells and then Lindgren to be riding the wrong line. Adams again showing he has totally lost the plot in his interview whittering about the importance of the inside. Hasn't he watched a single race tonight? Wolves don't need to average manipulate, they could make changes already. They won't though.
  9. Correct. Hence why GP's can attract 55,000 and Euro Champs get 7,500
  10. Difficult for you to do that as I haven't even posted on the thread. Meanwhile back on topic, this meeting is very difficult to call due to the inconsistent nature of so many of the riders. AJ and Lindgren could score anything from 5 to 15. Likewise riders such as Kennett and Wells. You would have to favour Lakeside, Wolves main hope being Blackbird and Bates can dominate at reserve and one of Wells or Thorssell puts in a good meeting. Hopefully the weather stays decent and we get an entertaining meeting on Sky.
  11. Oh dear. As earlier, and many others agree, the whole meeting was full of moves along the lines of what Nicki did to Greg. Lines were CONSTANTLY taken. Riders were having to shut off or be stuffed in the fence, some didn't and traded elbows whilst scraping the fence.. options Greg had, but chose not to utilise. In other words, it takes two (or more) to have a really good hard race.
  12. Bottles of milk? Not seen those for quite some time Sidders..
  13. Greg would have a heart attack riding in this event.
  14. At first I thought Nicki had bailed, but replay showed a lot more contact than there was with him and Greg. No fights started though
  15. There's been around 6 or 7 moves tonight already comparable with Nickis on Greg the other night.. Difference is, the field is full of hard racers.
  16. Watching the European Championships, there have been in the first 7 heats at LEAST six moves comparable to the Nicki/Greg incident. However, the riders didn't lose their bottle and the race continued. Edited to add, and again in Heat 8. Elbows colliding by the fence.
  17. Because they were just as rough and tumble as Nicki is. You have claimed you would 'barely see 4 laps in a meeting'. History has shown otherwise. It takes two to tango. If riders raced Nicki like that things would be better... many don't, they bottle it and bail out. Indeed, thanks for confirming the lack of credibility of your posts. Trolls like yourself who try and be clever with their wording always catch themselves out. I've no doubt you'll continue to try and wriggle, but it's there in black and white.
  18. Ah, so its not ok to impose the opinion of others to a post... Unless its your post. As for your claims we'd never see 4 laps... we're constantly told how back in the day the sport had far tougher, harder even dirtier riders than Pedersen.. not only that there were many of them. Tell me, did meetings rarely have 4 laps in them? Or are you just concocting nonsense to try and disprove something that is pretty flaming obvious. Having someone to hate is good for business in any sport or entertainment. Fans come along in the hope of seeing them get beat!
  19. I suggest you check out a recent race between Nicki Pedersen and Matej Zagar. Damn hard racing and a fantastic race.
  20. So you're complaining about illegals not being deported and using an illegal who has been deported as a platform to do so?
  21. Here's the article http://www.expressandstar.com/news/2015/06/18/former-wolverhampton-speedway-rider-deported/ I've seen the statement from Wolves speedway before, it's an absolute joke.
