Nicki was 100% correct in what he says, riders do play for it. Where he was hypocritical is he has done it himself numerous times.

Results in passing in Heats 2,4,6,7,8,11 & 12? That's plenty of passing by ANY standards.

That's why there was passing in 7 out of the 12 heats.

The only issue tonight is Gate 1 has a big advantage. Aside from that the track is excellent. There has been plenty of passing and those of you moaning might want to find another sport to watch. Passing in Heats 2,4,6,7,8,11 & 12. Pretty good by speedway standards.

Really? The first 4 heats were nothing to shout about, but some great action in the second set.

As said before, why do some riders do this. Win a race with ease, yes off Gate 1 but he was quick. Then decides to make changes???? Result, you're not quick anymore.

Is it his hard work and dedication to promoting the sport? Is it his erstwhile efforts to raise money for childrens charities? Perhaps its his total dedication to the sport? Or are you really shallow enough to dislike a person because they have some tattoos...

Again, missing the point entirely. You don't get results overnight. If every week Joe Bloggs tunes in and sees a big crowd having fun at a speedway meeting he's going to be more inclined to go along himself. Or, he can tune in briefly every week, see a deserted stadium and continue the current perception of speedway is definitely not the place to be. It really is basic marketing.

Again, missing the point entirely. He actually made a very valid comment, unlike yours. If you hire a builder and he shows little interest in the job, or is simply downright awful, I assume you don't question him if you've never built anything yourself.

For next season Thorssell is a must, Wells an absolute no. Based on current averages that is.. they may change a bit towards the end.

Agree with everything you say there. Like you, I said the signing of Thorssell was a mistake at the start of the season and they sycophants went crazy.. "Next No 1" blah blah. I like Jacob, but building teams is all about getting riders on the right average in the right position and he didn't fit that bill under this system.

The bigger issue is the performance of the fast trackers. Lewis Blackbird was expected to dominate and he hasn't really done that, not to the level of someone such as Garrity. Musielak got injured just as he was beginning to settle, it's caused him to lose his ride in Poland too which won't help his confidence. However, he's one you need to persevere with for the long term. Lindgren is obviously struggling, going through a similar situation to Woffinden last year, only worse. The format is so unforgiving that a poor run of form can be hard to break out of. However, what would replacing him achieve? Nobody better would be available. May as well keep him. If his poor run continues he could be a bargain second string for next year

What is the problem then and your solution? If its to drop Lindgren, that's not going to help one iota.

Not just you, 2 or 3. It's nothing to do with making more money on that particular night. It's something that the sport should be doing as a whole. Using TV as a tool to promote the sport.. instead they use it to damage it.

Personally if I think something is stupid I most certainly wouldn't be watching it and even more so spending time on a forum discussing it. Which begs the question, if the sport is stupid, what does that make you? These same tired nonsensical arguments keep being trotted out as a means of attacking speedway... you obviously don't watch much sport if you think speedway is 'stupid' for such rules.
