  1. As I haven't defended it, it renders yet another comment of yours null and void. At least I don't pay for something I don't watch... never have I heard such stupidity!
  2. You weren't a paying customer. You were a freeloader. I know of several people who contribute to speedway programmes and have done for years. None of them get free admission. I've sponsored riders and clubs to the tunes of several thousands of pounds. Never did I expect free admission. Stop saying 'US'. You are not one of them. You are an ancient relic from a bygone era. A nothing, a non entity.
  3. There's plenty to criticise about modern day speedway, mainly in Britain and I have never been shy about doing that. You just talk regurgitated nonsense about standard of racing which you can not make any valid comment at all about.
  4. How many more times, he WAS NOT a paying customer. Moxey often criticises the standard of racing, now if you don't watch, please do tell me how you can comment on that? You're right, it's no wonder this country is so messed up when people think they are in position to give feedback on a product they don't use in any shape or form. I'm off to have a moan about East Enders. Not seen it since 1990 but I'm not happy with the way it's been going lately.
  5. The customer wasn't shopping. He was being given free products. When that free product was taken away he didn't want to know. Your business would be better off without the freeloader. As for 'no one would waste time'. Clearly he does. Lots of it. He even wastes energy and costs himself money by having speedway on 'in the background' but refuses to watch. He's even stated he wouldn't watch it on TV if he was paid. So tell me, how can he comment on the current product, the standard of racing etc if he DOES NOT WATCH. The answer is he cannot. His opinions are 100% absolutely worthless. The ramblings of insanity. Remember, he is paying NOT TO WATCH at the moment, it doesn't get more insane than that.
  6. What are these 'various yearbooks' you refer to? Genuinely interested.
  7. Moxey doesn't watch the sport at all. He has repeatedly stated he won't watch it. Although, for some even more odd reason he has it on in the 'background'... but doesn't watch. That's even more weird.
  8. People like him wasting power are killing the world
  9. What you say may well be true, but nothing close to being insane enough to consistently post on a forum about a sport you have no interest in.
  10. Exactly the issue I get in Portugal, even living here for so long. Other big issue is all my self employed work is dealing with English people. Then you go into a shop or somewhere, speak Portuguese, they clock you are English straight away in many cases and those that can speak English back. English is continuing to grow though popular culture as you say. Only the kids movies are dubbed into Portuguese here, the rest are all shown in English with subtitles. Most Portuguese I know hate the dubbed ones and prefer the original English version. Add that to the youngsters growing up 'online'. Here they meet and converse with people from all round the world and the common language is almost always English.
  11. Woffinden speaks some Polish does he not?
  12. Yeah you're right.. When Ermolenko/Correy.. Hancock/Hamill used to face off, week before a World Cup meet for the US. They never rode aggressively. ...
  13. Two serious questions, When was the last time you PAID to get into a speedway meeting? When was the last time you entered one for free?
  14. You're not clinging on. You don't attend. You don't watch. All you do is post inaccurate negative bilge on this forum. You are not helping one iota with speedway's future. In fact it's downbeat, negative people like you that are as bigger part of the problem as anyone.
  15. Long been awake as have lot's to do... certainly don't have time to continually post on a forum about a sport I have no interest in. I actually feel sorry for anyone who has so little happening in their life they have to do that. Come on Moxey, there's a big world out there, go explore, stop wasting your time on this deadbeat joke of a sport you occasionally have on in the background.
  16. Yes, we all want different things, for you it's free entrance. As Chunky has already pointed out in this thread, riders were riding for more than one team way back, including your beloved PC. Riders were also racing for teams across Europe back in the 90's. As for 'serious sport', cricket can't be a serious sport either can it.. The reality is, you don't want a damn thing from the sport as you haven't been since your free entrance was taken away, have stated repeatedly you don't even watch it on TV (although for some reason have it on in the background.. you could just turn off your TV). Your club has the best race track in the UK and one of the very best in the world and produces amazing racing week in week out yet you show zero inclination to go. As such uou sir are an utter irrelevance, your opinion counts for absolutely nothing and seem to have so little to do in your life you spend it posting on a forum about a sport you no longer have any interest in.. very very strange individual.
  17. How many times is this going to be trotted out.. NO THEY WILL NOT. Championship teams are significantly weaker and that will soon be realised when the Poole team is announced. The difference between Leicester and Poole.. and Birmingham you mentioned... Poole are used to success, used to the top riders. A lot of their fans have already left as the top riders disappeared... even a table topping side this year couldn't bring them back...
  18. Significant difference in that Leicester have been challenging near the top, compared to there time in the top flight. Poole is a different kettle of fish. Also significant that only 70% have said they would support a Championship team.. so that could mean an immediate loss of 30%. Then when some of those 70% see what the actual side is... could be even more. I still believe Poole are hoping simply to get Wednesday back and stay in top flight.
  19. And that's without mentioning the other five! For what it's worth, I like Klindt, but not sure he'd be a great signing for anyone next season on his current average.
  20. Precisely this. There are many naive enough to believe 'it's the same riders' in each league. Indeed many have posted as such on this thread. It isn't. Poole would have a vastly weaker team come to track.
  21. Shame Ford hasn't take that attitude during his reign.
  22. When you've cried wolf previously... you need to be ever more inventive.
  23. Ford isn't stupid. It's worded in a way that fools the BSPA into thinking it's serious... and in a way it can be got out of.
  24. The most likely scenario. It's a Ford trait.. hopefully this time they call his bluff and he can take his cancer to the Championship. Those poor souls.
