Spot on, and this is an important point everyone is missing. The other two riders BOTH have to take evasive actions, if you impede another rider you run the risk of being excluded. As it happened, all three riders were impeded, with one of them dramatically so. 100% Dudeks fault.

And which happened first? It's not, the rules are quite clear. The PRIMARY cause of the stoppage is to go, that was Dudek. Slowing dramatically is dangerous riding. What would have happened had Kildemand had managed to avoid him and hit the fence and crashed? Would you still be saying Kildemand to go? Same principle. Dudek's slowing was the cause of all subsequent events. Edited to add: Anyway, it's one where we will all have our own views and won't persuade each other I suppose. It's 'fortunate' it occurred in this kind of meeting, could you imagine if that happened in a GP, with a World Title on the line?

100% correct. Absolutely no other way to call it. It is very dangerous to slow on a straight like that, hence why they put their hand up. As such it was dangerous riding from Dudek, intentional or not and he was the cause.

Of course Dudek is at fault, he's slowed right down bang on the racing line. Not deliberately and technically it was his bikes fault... but he is responsible for his bike. The very fact that other riders had to take evasive action means he has impeded riders and can therefore be excluded for 'dangerous riding'.

No he just slows dramatically which causes the incident. You can't dismiss 'theoretical or past incidents' when we are discussing rules as none of them back up your argument.

So to make it clear, you are saying if a riders bike fails or they slow dramtically, and another rider hits them as a result, its not the fault of the rider whose bike has failed or slowed? Interesting. How do you explain in that case when a rider locks up in a corner, the rider behind hits him.. and the rider who locks up gets excluded? He's still in the race....

He wasn't anywhere near racing speed, was a danger to others and the cause of the stoppage. It wasn't his fault that Kildemand hit him, it wasn't Kildemand's fault that Dudek was slowing so dramatically. However it was Dudek's slowing that caused the incident to happen.

Indeed.. a bit more 'speed'.. the end sequence of riders crossing the line spread out in slow motion does absolutely nothing to generate enthusiasm. Surely showing a very close finish would be the way to go?

Completely and utterly disagree. Seen such incidents numerous times and never have I seen the rider behind excluded. So you're saying when a rider's engine gives up the ghost, or they get a puncture and it causes them to slow dramatically, they're not the cause of any incident.. But, hey ho. I can see your point.

Discussion forums definitely not the right place for you are they? I see what you are saying, but that can be argued both ways. If Dudek hadn't been slowing in the middle of the straight he wouldn't have been rode into. By your rules, every time a rider makes a mistake, slows, lifts and someone else behind hits him, the one behind is to be excluded? Technically the decision was wrong as most certainly Dudek DID cause the stoppage.. by stopping

Do you even know what it is you are referring too? It's not nationality.. It's LOCATION. Mine says Portugal. I'm not Portuguese, but it's where I live. Woffinden's location is during the year, Australia and Europe. It's quite simple.

How can you possibly come to the conclusion that Kildemand should be excluded? He clearly didn't see Dudek till the last second as he had two riders in his line of vision across the track. You think he deliberately rode into Dudek?

Ha ha you are right, I hold my hands up. There is absolutely no factual information to suggest that Tai Woffinden is better than other British riders away from Monmore Green.

The decision to cancel the meeting is an entirely separate decision. If they wish to cancel the Sky coverage, they must do so at least 48 hours in advance as it appears that Wolverhampton did. Wolverhampton still decided to see if it was possible to run the meeting, but eventually decided to postpone. In this case it appears Kings Lynn cancelled the Sky coverage, again citing that they were uncertain if they could get the meeting on... then subsequently decided to cancel the meeting as well. Many are saying the weather didn't play a part so it leaves us with the conclusion that following a heavy home defeat.. then running on an off night, Lynn didn't fancy it. Sky haven't announced anything of the sort. They merely stated they wouldn't be broadcasting the meeting. Not that the meeting was postponed.

No, but it looks like you're attacking Sky when this decision to call off the meeting is not theirs. Had it been theirs, I would have concurred 100% with your post. As the tweets suggest, Sky have not called any meetings off, nor have they said they won't broadcast due to the weather. It is implying the CLUBS are telling them 48 hours in advance not to broadcast as the weather MIGHT be poor. I suspect this is because there is a penalty clause in the contract if Sky set up and a meeting is postponed?
