  1. Exactly.. Ford is being very clever, he knows most folks haven't grasped the system and is looking to gain support to revert to a system he knows darn well would favour his team immensely.
  2. Wolves aren't 'working any system'. They signed Peter Karlsson to replace Mikkel Bech, a rider with a higher average. As PK has a lower average than Howarth, he starts at reserve. Nothing to do with 'working a system'. He won't be there for long.
  3. Well done to Wolves for stepping it up at the end.. sounded like some amazing racing.
  4. Without a doubt, couldn't understand why folk thought Wolves would win so easily. Coventry have riders who go well at Monmore. Peter Adams helping out by leaving Howarth in for his 4th ride.
  5. We're discussing the British Final or have you forgotten that already? It's an event where the winner gets paid the same, whoever it is.
  6. It's nothing to do with having an opinion. It's too do with making things up.
  7. I'm not saying he does or doesn't. You're the one stating categorically he does.. Evidence please.
  8. The team 'should' be winning easily, although of course that's no guarantee. He may well take six if he takes the other reserves ride, plus one of Howarth's.. not sure about the seventh.. the other four should be good enough.
  9. Of course. The number of people who care whether Murray wins or not at Wimbledon outnumber those who don't want Tai to ride for GB by around a million to one. Would he? So you're claiming the BSPA would have paid Tai over and above the odds to ride in the British Final? Evidence of this please?
  10. What contract is this that he has for the British Final? Or are you just making things up now
  11. Don't be daft. I've always thought it would be far easier in football if the players just wore whatever kit they liked, their own individual style, then maybe just wear a bib with a little logo of their team on the front and perhaps a swimming cap.
  12. Just when you think you've read it all. Tai is contracted to race for his polish team, as such, like when he was contracted to ride for Wolverhampton he will race on the dates their matches are. Totally irrelevant to the British final. If anything it actually adds to the reasons for him not doing the British final. Why increase what is already a demanding schedule he has. As for track conditions in the UK he commented many times whilst riding in this country about the state of certain tracks and he wasn't the only one,
  13. Fair enough.. equal. So no stronger. As Wolves are likely to win the meeting fairly comfortably he likely won't have the extra rides anyway.
  14. Wolves are weaker with PK at reserve, you've timed it well. PK as a second string and Howarth at reserve they are stronger.
  15. The irony of your posts really does escape you doesn't it. Your words, not twisted, not altered. Basically if he'd said a rider from another team was boring you wouldn't have batted an eyelid, but because it's a Belle Vue rider it's all of a sudden offensive. As for proof I am right most people don't find it offensive? Your post above proves that nicely for me as you've come up with around 4 people... that doesn't constitute 'most'. There are more than that on this thread who don't find it offensive.
  16. You simply say.. "So and so is injured, they're operating rider replacement. Each of the other riders can take one ride, one above him in the averages and anyone below". Job done. Very simple.
  17. It really does beggar belief how people can still be unsure over PK. His form in Sweden hasn't been close to that in the UK for about 15 years so not sure why its suddenly an issue now..
  18. You simply answer them. It's very simple, I've done it many times and not once has anybody ever 'laughed' as some on here like to claim happens.
  19. I wouldn't always agree with that. Back in the day, if Sam Ermolenko was in a run off for the World title with a Brit, Tatum or Louis for example, I'd have been supporting Sam. I'd have no objections to Poole fans wanting Holder to win, Kings Lynn Iversen and so on.
  20. What is there to explain? It's very simple. Ben Barker has signed for Ipswich, he makes his debut next week. Simple.
  21. Yep, damn shame. Later in life, when he's enjoying the money he's earned in his career and the plaudits for the titles he's won he'll be thinking, damn, I'd much rather give most of my earnings away and sacrifice some titles just so a few more people could have cheered for me at Cardiff.
