There isn't a cat in hells chance of Wolves finishing top. Belle Vue and Poole are meeting each other three times, so at least one of them is going to be picking up pts. Their other fixtures are much more straight forward.

The league table backs it up, Wolves 2pts behind, match in hand , having ridden three less home fixtures and have strengthened up with including Woffinden. As for tonight, it's a fixture that could really go either way. A lot will depend on which Kings Lynn show up!

Spot on. Steve is a regular rider on the amateur scene as many people know. Steve, don't respond to Flange/Drop a Cog at all, many of us have made that mistake too many times. Back to the match, many were predicting a runaway Wolves win but I always suspected Lakeside could pose problems and indeed they did. From a Wolves perspective it was good to see the reserves amongst the pts but there are going to tougher reserve pairings they will face should they make the play-offs.

Given that the crowd was reported to be MUCH bigger last night, not just a little bit, then it must be at least 300-400 more, perhaps more. Now factor in, you're only covering the difference between Kylmakorpi and Tai wages wise.. not just paying Tai from scratch. 300-400 extra people at £10 per person would quite easily cover that and then some.

Woffinden is the World Champion so of course he is going to get all the attention. Every other Wolves rider knows that. Just the same as Michael Phelps gets most of the attention when the USA wins a relay gold... or Gareth Bale gets most of the attention when Wales were winning at Euro 2016.

You do post some guff regarding Woffinden. It's a tough day for Woffy bashers, they were hoping Woffinden was going to come back and just go through the motions.. instead he put himself on the line, battled hard from the back and took some big risks.

I'll join you. I'm simply happy Wolves have had an important win, in front of what seems like a big crowd and have strengthened the team to give us a chance of winning the title.. which is what I would have thought all Wolves fans would have wanted. I see absolutely no need for negativity.
