What a load of nonsense. May as well say, Hans Andersen's average is false, he's far too close to Chris Holder, nowhere near as good, let's move him to 6.50. Oh dear, Lindback doesn't fit. Woffinden's average was 7.03, because that was the average he obtained over a full season. End of story. Whilst I think it's wrong that Lindback has been given a 7.00, what's done is done, personally I'm just looking forward to the play-offs and some exciting speedway now. No, what you have shown is he should have been assessed at 7.5, based upon your own logic.
-
Wolves always prefer to ride the 1st leg at home so they've hardly pulled out any advantage.
-
Time to stop the Ford bashing now. He's brilliant, another masterstroke for the sport. One only has to look how the sport in the UK has grown since Ford and Poole have risen to prominence...
-
That post from Hans was the most predictable one ever! Of course he will have been instructed precisely what to say, sweetened with a nice cheque and perhaps the guarantee of a team place next year as well.
-
Quite simple, aside from the manipulation of Lindback's average which is downright outrageous to begin with, we also have the fact that Andersen does not have a 'long term' injury.
-
So? He didn't.
-
They call it 'assessed' when they are using an average more than 12 months old I believe.. that was his achieved average however. Lindback's is not.. That's what I mean
-
Makes no difference when a deal was 'agreed'. Poole rode with a facility for Hans Andersen on Monday and Tuesday night. So any change would be based on Andersen's current average, 7.15.
-
Just ignore.
-
Tai didn't have an assessed average. Tai used the average he had. Lindback has an average, which has been ignored.
-
Your jealousy has no limits does it! Who was this Dane then? I know Jan O Pedersen was looking to run training schools.. but Tai is already more successful.

Belle Vue V Poole Elb 12/09/16 Sky Meeting

Give it a rest!! You actually had some sympathy at one time from a number of posters on this forum, I think it's safe to say that it has now pretty much all gone. Pull yourself together!! -
Belle Vue V Poole Elb 12/09/16 Sky Meeting

Tbf to Shovlar, it is a fact. The engine failure ended their hopes. Simple as that, 100% fact. Heat 15 was irrelevant at that point. Irrelevant, that had already happened. The situation as it was in Heat 14 was Poole needed two 5-1's to finish top. The engine failure ended that chance and therefore cost them the chance of doing so. -
Another one who only hears what they want too. What is sickening and biased is the fallacies of a few on here regarding them. Again, nobody mentions Jacobs and Cook who both Pearson and Tatum were going crazy over.. Why? Because that doesn't fit your rhetoric, so best just ignore it so you can make up garbage.
-
Bless. Of course you weren't listening when he got equally excited about Joe Jacobs and Craig Cook.
-
Read the post, it's quite clearly explained.

"Some people" being the promoters of every league in England.. the promoters in Sweden... the promoters in Denmark.. the promoters in Poland.. you see a pattern? Fans don't make decisions, promoters do. They're in it to make money and quite obviously believe that overall the playoffs bring in more.

Belle Vue V Poole Elb 12/09/16 Sky Meeting
BWitcher replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Speedway is a fast exciting sport with races condensed over a very short time frame. Their commentary style suits the sport 100% and those who seem to think they should be commentating like a snooker commentator clearly want the sport to simply shrivel up and die. -

They weren't biased. Only if you'd decided they were beforehand and that was all you were listening for. Tatum was going on about Cook because it very much looked like he did just nick the tapes. How embarrassing of him to comment on what has happened! Did you miss them going crazy over Jacobs? I guess so. Did you miss them going crazy over Cook's ride? I guess so. -
I disagree, I believe they do win nothing

No, the troll on this thread has just arrived Gavan. Give it a rest, there's been amicable discussion for a number of pages about an excellent meeting, then you come along with your poison. Back to Belle Vue, if they beat Swindon then I think it's pretty obvious they will chose Lakeside (if Lakeside get through), but if Swindon progress then I also think they will pick Wolves. -
Woffinden's Language.

Times have very much changed, you would be deemed as sexist by many for such comments now. -
Congratulations Belle Vue - League Champions

Yes it does mean you are wrong. 100% categorically wrong. -

The old tac system would have been better for Poole. Extra rides for Holder, Tungate, Kurtz in place of Newman, Ellis and Pedersen. Anyway good meeting, well done to Belle Vue, deserved top spot. Looking forward to my first visit to Belle Vue in the coming week or two.. unless Belle Vue and Wolves avoid each other in the semis and both get knocked out..
