  1. Never have chance to watch Polish speedway, not live anyway, as generally tied up Sundays. Swedish watch on Eurosport when it's on, again, if have time.
  2. No pirate streams used whatsoever (just keeping it on thread... sort of)
  3. There is no need to tow any government line. You advocate stealing and are promoting what is effectively 'stolen goods'. How would you feel if I came around yours, nicked some of the artwork you'd bought and started selling it at a much cheaper price?
  4. Keep funding crime, there's a good lad.
  5. Three o'clock kick offs on a Saturday is somewhat different. There aren't many who confine their viewing to just that though are there? Especially as most of the big games don't take place at 3pm on a Saturday these days.
  6. There is nothing to agree or disagree on. You are completely and utterly deluded. Streaming via the net from the legitimate provider and stealing from a business are two totally different concepts. It's akin to you saying watching a pirated film recorded in the cinema was fine in the past because videos and dvd's were the way forward. The two are totally different. You are a thief, it is as simple as that, cut and dried with absolutely no room for negotiation. The fact that you are even trying to argue that fact is utterly staggering!
  7. They do get them shut down, then they move and open up somewhere else. Which is why these apps/sources keep springing up as others have fallen by the wayside.
  8. Your argument is downright laughable. Yes, you have the choice, everybody does. Some choose to steal, others don't. Many people watch programmes via Kodi, but they acknowledge what they are doing. If somebody burgles your house next week and takes everything, will you accept that they 'had the choice' to do so? You aren't 'sourcing' from an alternative supplier. The supplier is the same Sky or BT (in most cases). You're just watching a pirated version.
  9. Thus far this close season we've heard how poor Woffinden, Masters and Thorssell were in the play-offs...
  10. Bless. Are you deliberately trying to make yourself look foolish now? You're now claiming they were better at Belle Vue than they were at Poole! Maths not your strong point is it.
  11. I remember when you were a decent poster who knew his stuff. You're sinking ever closer to Starman levels.
  12. So you don't agree with Gavan then and think Poole will get hammered at Belle Vue. Interesting. More importantly, fantastic news that Belle Vue will be running next year, thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the NSS last year and look forward to getting along again this.
  13. Back when I was a young teenager I would spend hours and hours devising such attributes to be used alongside the Speedway Scene II board game. Every rider would have ratings for gating, a rating when leading a race, when behind, inside ability, outside ability, adjustments for conditions and also the individual track. I even had a system for riders morale, their experience (more laps on a particular track the better they would become) and even down to mechanics and engine tuning which could give a boost to performance (or not on occasion). All of this was done with pen and paper for the most part so a computer could handle it all a lot easier. I had more fun in putting all of those factors together than actually playing through the season. I converted much of it into a very basic game programmed in basic on the good old 48K Spectrum. Essentially to me, the actual running of the meeting is the easy bit. It's all the rest I have no clue about programming wise.
  14. It's good to see some fans of other clubs commenting on the service PK has given to British Speedway. I am still pretty disgusted at the reaction, or lack thereof, to him after he completed his final race at Monmore in the Olympique, a lap of honour (after winning from the back) with his helmet off and WELL over 50% of the crowd stood in absolute silence, couldn't even raise themselves to applaud nor even raise a hand. I commented on the night that I am not sure how they could call themselves 'fans' of Wolverhampton Speedway. I hope plenty of fans come from other clubs to swell the attendance as I know many Wolves 'fans' won't bother to attend.
  15. Again, poor example. There was little skill required for that, the fastest line was the outside, King moved over towards the inside meaning Gundersen could just ride his normal line. Meanwhile, here's Ronnie Correy passing around the outside.. go to the 18:00 mark https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMa75U8CpsQ
  16. Get Sudden Sam on a bike, plus Mikael who deserves some sort of farewell too. Also be nice to see Ronnie Correy involved. Those four were part of a great era for the club. It would also be nice if Tai took part given the close links he has with PK.
  17. Of course. I guess Woffinden called off the following meeting too, caused the entire track to be relaid and for there to be a lengthy investigation into the faults of the contractors.
  18. As a past sponsor of Klindt and having followed his career very closely I've always stuck up for him where necessary in the past. However, he is very much a confidence rider and if things aren't going well or he doesn't feel comfortable his form can capitulate. Hence, if he gave any indication (which he clearly did) that he wasn't keen on returning to Wolves then the management made the right decision. This really does seem to be something you are unable to get over. Helped that King basically pulled over for him mind you, leaving him the complete outside (fastest line) wide open.
  19. It really is that simple. And yet it's a concept that for 17 years has passed speedway by as they broadcast meetings in front of empty stadia.
  20. Let's not forget also, you're effectively paying to go watch tv.
  21. Of course Voice of Reason also fails to mention that when Hearn took over the club they played in a ramshackle of a stadium (if it could even be called that), with an ever decreasing capacity due to health and safety. Indeed, one could compare it with many speedway stadia today. Hearn in his tenure built new stands on all four sides of the ground leaving the club with a very smart stadium for their level indeed.
  22. You're right. We most certainly wouldn't want speedway teams to be like Leyton Orient were under Hearn. A club on the verge of bankruptcy and losing money season after season when Hearn took over turned into one of THE most financially stable clubs in the UK. When Hearn left they had just lost on penalties for promotion to the Championship. Something almost achieved without spending big money on players or indeed ANY money on players, simply through good management and a well run club. Hearn sold up and left and within 2 years Orient are in total disarray. Voice of Reason in his attempt to disparage Hearn has only achieved to highlight what a good job he did. Whether or not Hearn could do the same for speedway is an entirely different argument but not one that can be dismissed by linking to his record at Orient.
  23. Just saw this news on Facebook and was deeply saddened. As many have already said, Bryn was Mr Speedway. His distinctive voice was recognisable instantly and in my mind is one of the 'sounds' I associate with the sport. I only met him the one time as I can recall, there was an issue ( I don't recall what ) that I needed help with and I popped into the office at Lakeside and Bryn sorted it in no time. After that we had a good 15 minute chat about the sport in general. Thoroughly nice gentleman and a very sad loss to the sport and more importantly, his family. My deepest condolences to his friends, family and loved ones. RIP Bryn Williams. Mr Speedway.
  24. Ah I see you're thinking now. If your fifth best rider isn't a world beater it's a poor signing. Didn't realise the Premiership was so strong!
