Fast like a Ghost. You answered while I was writing my post. Top man.

Some rumours say Vaculik may replace Ruud. Hopefully Ghostwalker will be able to answer all these questions soon. Good meeting in prospect anyway. Can't wait.

What's Kosciuch's avarage? Is it 1.40? He scored 35 pts in 25 races last year. It means he will be at reserve tonight and Janowski (1.419) in the main body. Am I right? Any news about Ruud? Fit to ride or R/R?

Jonas D in current form is on Premier League reserve level, nothing more.

They need to do something with the track at Vastervik. Massive advantage again gates 1 and 2. Heat wins: Gate 1- 8 Gate 2 -7 Gate 3 -0 (!!!) Gate 4 -0 (!!!) Points: Gate 1 - 36 Gate 2 - 32 Gate 3 - 14 Gate 4 - 8 (!!!) 15 heats and only 8 points from gate 4. No wins from gates 3 and 4 at all. And gate 1 has such a big advantage in every meeting I watched from Vastervik. Not fair at all.

Is Maciej Janowski fit to ride? After 3 nasty crashes yesterday it is hard to believe that he will give it a go today.

Remove the joker and bring back reserve (max 3 rides allowed to avoid situation when Gollob is on reserve and every time against strongest opponents )

Speedway World Cup 2012
krompa replied to mdmc82's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Fair enough. Never heard about Robert Lambert. If he is only 14 then I must admit he seems skilled. You didn't get my point. I didn't try to say that US future is brighter. It was kind of arony. How can you compare USA (with few odd tracks) to GB where you have how many? 25-30 tracks? With such a high numer of tracks/clubs you should be at least close to Poland and Scandinavia. But they produce some talents every year mainly thank's to one simple rule. Fixed numer of local U21 riders in every team. I would be more than happy to watch young Brits every Monday in Elite League and see how they progress as I'm a big fan of British speedway. And I believe it was Chris Louis year or two ago, who said how important for GB speedway it is to follow 'Polish way' and give young Brits places in Elite League teams. Seems that noone listened him and it wasn't even discussed during annual promoters meeting. -
Speedway World Cup 2012

GB future is not brighter than American. Auty, Worrall? Gimme a break. Only slim hope is Tai. And solution is simple. In Poland 2 Polish juniors in a team. In Sweden - one. Why there is no such rule in Elite League? Give 10 British boys chance every year and in 5-10 years time you will see some talents like we do in Poland. Janowski, Dudek, Zmarzlik, Pawlicki brothers. All close or even better than Tai now. But British promoters prefer to moan about CMA's, tactical rules etc. Very Sad. -
Bjarne Pedersen was going to replace Shields. But now with Bjarne injured they might use Kildemand. Not confirmed but possible.

Poland defeated ROTW 47-44 in Torun (October 2011). Now it's time for revenge. The one and only Tony Rickardsson as a manager decided to keep 3 riders from 1st leg lineup (Hancock, Jonsson and Ward), added Crump, Saifutdinov, Harris and MJ Jensen (in place of Nicki, Lindback and Vaculik - they all struggled in Torun). Marek Cieslak decided to make 2 changes bringing 2 local heroes in (Bartosz Zmarzlik replaces Pawlicki and new Gorzow rider Krzysztof Kasprzak replaces Miedzinski). Live tv coverage - TVP Sport and TVP 1. Another great meeting in prospect! Can't wait!

Swedish Elite League Play-offs And Play-outs

Is it true that Zengota will replace Sullivan tomorrow? Will Bjarne move to 5 if that is the case? -
http://www.polskizuzel.pl/mecz/ Big meeting is coming! Poland after winning World Cup three times in a row now stands up against Rest of The World. What a lineup it is. 2 more riders Kolodziej and Sullivan will be added as soon as contracts are signed. Meeting formula exactly the same as Ekstraliga. 5 seniors + 2 U21 riders. Only exception - Joker allowed when team 8 pts behind. Meeting will be covered live by TVP1. Can't wait!
-
I see that last year it was 20 heats (top 3 to the final) + last chance race (riders placed 4-7) with winner joining top 3 in a Grand Final race.
-
Is it GP style formula? 20 heats + semis + final? Is a winner of final heat a champion or points scored in all heats (5 rides + semi + final) count?
-
Hi Anders, is Dennis Andersson fit? He missed yesterday's meeting in UK. Or Holder in at 4 for him and Alden for Berntzon down at 6?
-
Rico missed Lakeside meeting yesterday. Are you sure he is ready to ride tonight?

Swc Changes Needed ?
krompa replied to Robbie B's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Reserve allowed max 3 rides per meeting and no such stories like Gollob or Crump at reserve. -
Speedway World Cup Team Line Ups
krompa replied to Ben Alderton's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
As much as I love Elite League (watching it from Poland), I have to say that you Brits (I mean BSPA) need to make changes quick. At least one under 21 Brit in every EL team is a must. Someone might say there is no way to find 10 young riders in UK ready to race in top division but there is no other way. Ekstraliga teams have 2 Polish juniors per team in every meeting, Elitserien one U21 Swede each team. It is the only way to motivate clubs to invest in young local lads and in a long run the only way to build a strong team for World Cup. At the moment facts are: - Team GB 6th in the world - no Brits in U21 Individual Finals! -
Can't imagine similar situation in any other pro sport. Less than 24 hours to go and no official lineups on speedwaygp.com or fim-live.com
