Race For The Play Offs 2014
krompa replied to Sienna Ryan's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Coventry will finish top 2 if they beat both Poole and KL by 7+ at home as 3 easy wins on the cards (Eastie twice and Wolves) and surely another 4 pointer away at BV, 48 so far + 15 at home and 4 at BV will be enough. Noone but KL will beat 67. It means Cov can afford losing by 7+ at Swindon and still finish top2. -
Why no MJJ? Doyle R/R?

Speedway Champions League ?
krompa replied to PolskiZuzel's topic in International World of Speedway
Few thoughts before tapes go up. Meeting is well promoted in Polish media, I'm pretty sure 7-10k Zielona Gora supporters will come to watch it. As much as I hate Falubaz , I need to admit that it is probably best run speedway club in the world (from marketing/PR/financial perspective). In summary, we will probably see some nice speedway event and if they prepare track with some dirt on it, it will be good. Hopefully weather will be kind as it is boring as hell in Zielona Gora when it's slick. Some ideas for the future? There must be some rules preventing guest apperances. Guests make whole story a bit of a joke but it doesn't have to be like that. Let's say it is similar format with 5 riders/team. SImple rule that all riders declared for WSL have to ride in minimum 25% of meetings in local leagues would do the trick. Or maybe 1 guest for each team allowed? Even field and rules the same for everyone. Any opinions guys? -

Any idea about the rules/format? Exactly the same as SWC? With jokers etc.? -
Speedway Champions League ?
krompa replied to PolskiZuzel's topic in International World of Speedway
What a joke it is. Sayfutdinov and Piotr Pawlicki to ride for Poole? Kasprzak for Esbjerg? At least Zielona Gora and Piraterna will use their own riders. Why no Milik and Newman? -
Coventry will need to have some double ot triple headers to finish before cut off date.

Swindon V King's Lynn (21/08/14)

What's going on with Lewis Kerr? He looked terrible tonight. At the moment way behind Newman, Garrity and S Worrall (potential playoffs high scoring reserves). -

Shared No. 1 For 2015 El Season?
krompa replied to pointsmeanplayoffs's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Strange that most people dont like two #1's idea. It would always be up to promoters/teams if they prefer 1 full timer or 2 part timers. Eastbourne can stick with Bjarne Pedersen but if Poole can afford alco-Ward and Holder, why not? If Wolves can have Tai and Fred, why not? It is something that will not cost clubs much more as I never heard about UK club paying any money other than points/start money. Do they pay like Polish clubs money before the season for equipment etc? Doubt it. From fans point of view great idea, more speculation which rider should ride in this match, which one in next etc. TV happy with more top boys back. And top RIDERS like your world champ Tai happy with some free time to breath. Lets say Sayfutdinov wants good warm up in March/April (first 4-5 meetings before Polish/GP season starts) and then he takes 2-3 later (or in the playoffs), other matches taken by Andersen (if he is happy with less matches of course). Why not to let them? If Coventry cant afford Sayfu financially then they say NO and get Hans full time. What is the problem for you guys with such scenarios? Pretty much the same as with Fast Track system. For years people were crying here that they need to watch crap reserves from other countries wobbling at the back. Now British youngsters finally have this opportunity and people are still crying. In Poland we accepted 2 U21 riders in every team and even if they finish races 50 meters behind, from those 16-20 kids/year after few seasons we have young promising stars like Pawlicki brothers, Janowski, Wozniak, Gomolski to only name a few. You Brits need to wake up. And listen. Start listen your own riders and dont jump on Tai saying if he is not commited then he can go. Maybe finally you will learn something from other speedway nations (which by the way left you for dead at the moment which SWC and all junior competitions shown in last decade at least). -
Radical Suggestion For The Elite League 2015
krompa replied to racers and royals's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Danish system is a joke. You guys better forget it before you even try to think that it may solve British speedway problems. The same riders meeting each other 4-5 times, meetings last 2.5 hours minimum as top riders have 6-7 rides and it of course means time for them between the heats. Dont think Danes like it. -

Manzares, Bridger and Lemon as per Leicester website? Or Manzares, Howe nad R/R as per Poole website? What is more Manzares crashed at Peterborough... -
It was pure pleasure to watch Harris last night. If only GP tracks were grippy.... I want to believe he still has something to prove on a world stage. But he needs to: -lose weight -finally get some quick equipment for slick tracks -still work very hard on gating as his gatng technique is very bad Hopefully next season we will see good, improved version of Bomber. Have to say that he is one of only few pure racers this days.

Some talks in Poland about alcohol tests for EVERY rider before EVERY meeting, starting next season. Good idea for sure.
-
Sky's the limit for the Bees this year! With 3 Danes scoring 14 between them they still won by 13. That's pretty amazing. Plus 4 riders slightly injured and Howarth coming back from injury! Very good reserves with Sarjeant probably better than B Compton and L Rose playoffs looking bright. Pretty sure that MJJ will deliver when it matters, Harris finally showing some speed and Hansen always able to shock you with good ride round the boards. Can see them pushing KL and Poole all the way.

And RR for Poole rider makes Lakeside stronger!
-
Fast Track system slowly doing it's job. Look at Nathan Greaves. Progress is visible. Good!
-
They can get Charles Wright tonight. But if your suggestions are true they will probably pick Ben Hopwood.
-
Any idea about Blackbird replacement? Who is guesting tonight?

Swedish Elitserien 2014, Round 13
krompa replied to Ghostwalker's topic in International World of Speedway
Elitserien need to sort RR rules next season. How come teams can use facility every time they want, for a rider who is not injured? Loktaev 2 great meetings in Poland, Kasprzak perfectly fit too but still Dackarna and Vastervik were able to cover their absences with RR. Much better system in Poland. You rider is injured then he cant have any meetings in 2 weeks time. -
Cheers

Lineups with riding order? Anyone? Cam and Simon both now heat leaders, right?

Patryk Dudek Tests Positive For Banned Substance

Not that I want to defend him as he is from Zielona Gora and I simply hate them but does it make any sense to use any kind of doping in speedway? -
Poole V Swindon Weds 6th August 2014.
krompa replied to SteveLyric2's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I'm pretty sure it was just a mistake by BSPA as Johnson is still in declared 1-7. The only weird thing is that press release made by both Poole and BSPA saying they re-delared now. Can't be true. Must be a guest tonight only.
