World Cup
samthepalaceman2 replied to Daniel Smith's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Bridger seems to be kicking up on Twitter after Barker being chosen ahead of him. Tbh Barker was always going to get the nod on current form and although I would've looked at Allen for the first round at Lynn. -
Thanks. I'm pretty sure that even the Eastbourne management aren't that stupid in not giving him enough meetings to become an asset.

Would you be able to give a little info on the rider from first hand experience? His results seem impressive from last year for an 18 year old.

Tai Woffinden
samthepalaceman2 replied to lucifer sam's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
You also have to look whether the GP's are financially viable for Tai, obviously I don't know whether he has made/lost money from his GP adventures this year but its something else to factor in. -

Just out of curiosity, how old is Jason Garrity? I am presuming he is around 16, 17 if he has been competing with Ashley Morris for a few years at Under 15 level -
Sgp Challenge Final

Maybe Nicki Pedersen might choose to take a year out of the GPs, it wouldn't surprise me as he seems to be suffering quite a bit. -

Cardiff Grand Prix
samthepalaceman2 replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I agree with you completely, we were sitting on the backstraight opposite the start/finish line and I could barely make out anything they were saying. It was a good meeting, real shame about the Brits but glad Holder and Hampel both got podium positions, this was my sixth time and the racing was probably the best I have seen it but I enjoyed 2007 much more -

When 21stch is referring to GP Champion he means the winner of champion of an individual GP event such as Cardiff, not the world championship -

I agree with you, if he can get a team sorted in Poland and Sweden next year then he could be worth consideration for 2011. -
Gollob - 2010 Race Suspension?
samthepalaceman2 replied to a topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I can see Sayfutdinov turning into another Nicki Pedersen as throughout the series, Emil has produced some ruthless overtakes and he proved he has a little temper in the British GP. I would say Emil is more talented but some of their riding attributes are very simimlar, he's gonna be someone you love or you hate, just like Nicki and Gollob. -

I guess at the end of the day you learn from your mistakes, at least if you make them early on your get to where you want quicker. Applies not only to speedway but life as well. -

So would I but with Crump and Holder it is very unlikely that Ward will get a call up. That is unless he does a Rune Holta and becomes a Brit -

Damn Bridger's chances looks to have died. Hopefully he can still put in a good performance so a few Polish and Swedish clubs will sit up and take note. Good to see Gustafsson get some points to his name. -
