  1. Yet again you miss the vital point with success comes increased gate receipts the club have shown that when you put on quality meetings then gates increase and there is a buzz around the place not when your season is over at the beginning of Aug. So yes infrastructure is important but the fans need to have something to get excited about on a weekly basis. To be fair thought at the start of the season we had the mix right but some rider have fallen short and yet again I jury's have crippled us but is that the riders or the motivators????
  2. You look as though you have all the credentials to become a promoter if not a member of the BSPA management team.
  3. Well we need something because in three years we have not progress one jot but this year have ended up with fewer points while our near neighbours are either winning or challenging for the title. Yes I await the Eddie pitch about sky and u21's and yes I agree great PR for the club but only goes to increase fans expectations, would be nice to be in the mix for something at the end of a season.
  4. You seem to speak very authoritatively about all aspects of the Bandits but as you clearly stated earlier our asset base is small and in fact on current showing there is only one rider who would merit a place next season so where are you in the real world and please enlighten us with your solution as I am sure any fan who pitches up and pays his money on a weekly basis would love to know your solution to such a crisis.
  5. Need to build an asset base if and where possible. If going to 38.5 then it will be a very different league.
  6. Yeah think its time to call in Kirstie Allsop no more papering over the cracks its time for a complete makeover this time we need to bring in new blood. Why don't we have a meeting and invite some potential prospects along before the end of the season let the dog see the rabbit that kind of thing just a thought to fill in the space between 31st Aug and 21st Sept.
  7. Well as our season crawls to yet another dismal end after what I think most of us thought would be a season where we challenged for something what can we say for next year. Highlights are Bellego steady progress hope he stays and doubles up. Kozza still remains as Mr Entertainment and never say die attitude deserves a return if he wants it. Paul Starke good reserve for next season but will he be an option? The rest well it's P45 time guys you have occasionally shown glimpses of why you were signed but all lack the consistency and passion expected to win matches. As for the team manager end of term report D- for the reasons above.
  8. Lets go Elite have SKY here every other week and all our troubles will be solved simples
  9. As said before Bandits and Czech made for each other As said before Bandits and Czech made for each other
  10. The Bandits are always better with a Czech in the team 👍👍
  11. But looking from the other side if the points limit is to be reduced if you can achieve a sub 8.0 point avg by next season you may well be more employable
  12. Wonder if Berwick can nip in to offer the opportunity of riding on a track which given time looks as though it would suit him sure David could point in the right direction
  13. Fact We ask the man at the top why he refused to sign Dyer at the end of last season we ask the manager why he did not insist that we sign Dyer at the end of the season we ask both of them if they have any idea about building a speedway team and we ask Robin what he is playing at new engine supposedly for UK well think the first thing he needs to do is ask for his money back. Beaten by a better team yes but some woeful performances from some
  14. Believe Alex is suspected broken ankle, trying for Starke if ref will allow otherwise Benji Compton
  15. Are Poles allowed in the Premier league not to my knowledge?
  16. Think we may again be found short in the reserve department tonight but thats what happens with a top line number 1. Lets hope Paul and Nicki can nail it but who knows. Ben Barker should be by all accounts untouchable but you have to admire Plymouth's ambition to bring in a rider like Mikkel Bech Jensen he will soon be there asset and will undoubtedly generate an income for them. No disrespect to Edward Kennett and he will I am sure score many points in the Bandits colours but he is never going to be a Bandit next year. There are young up and coming riders that could have been brought in instead riders that are hungry for success I am sure if Bech had been offered the chance of riding Berwick for a few week prior to his World under 21 final there, he might have thought this is a chance to good to miss, there are a few others in that line up that may also think like that. Agree with lots that the promotion have achieved over the last couple of years but sometimes think the vision of team building is a little short there are enough meetings left to gain averages for next year just a thought
  17. Aye but we have a polyfoam fence so at least we will run next year
  18. Unfortunately caught up again in the numbers game if we bin Barrett and Aspergren they need replaced by 4 pointers. Mistakes were made at start of season with not taking Dyer the points he scored at the start of the season we would be near the top of the league. Never mind there's the under 21's to look forward too and those pies
  19. Well any points from Redcar are going to require a miracle. Sadly season all but over note last home meeting at the end of August shortest season ever.😱😱
  20. No but a reminder from Messers Campbell and Harkness as to who pays his wages every week will
  21. Biggest problem is Cookie now carrying a shoulder injury and we know what happens when he guests for us with a niggleing injury lets say bye bye to another home win! Ipswich were always going to be difficult to beat but if Cookie not 100% then we will struggle.
