Meeting in January to determine whether Allen will be a 5 or a 7.
-
The old PW principle treat them mean get them cheap.😱 Think the promotion believe the fans like the mystery.
-
Obviously not a betting man Screm the point of my post is about work the percentages to your advantage and that becomes matter less if you are not challenging at the half way point but as you have aptly said previously we need to be competitive from the word go or we are in the poo.
-
Back to the drawing board i suspect made go with the fans plan if your looking for share holders The thing is if Jake had been on a 5 then its a no brainer you bring the lad in he has undoubtedly got talent and on 5 hes got a 1in 4 chance of hitting his average so its worth a go the odds double to make a seven. We do need assests both from the point of view of giving the club a decent asset base but you need to be smart about it. If it was mid season and we were in the bottom half of the table yes bring Jake and all his mate in on a seven with the hope you find a couple of gems for the following season otherwise think about it we don't want no Ballotelli's at Berwick.

Does she like speedway?? Seems like a fairly good business model. Maybe she would like to be a director or at the very least ..............
-
Yes and that's where Plan A falls apart our management lacking in the ball department. Bring in some young guns who have a pair and if this is to be our swan song as is talked about in the news letter lets go out on a high as league winners.
-
It is clear from the statements above how infinitesimal your knowledge of World speedway is and at that point I bid you a guid New Year.
-
As it now look like we are also looking at 7.00 for Jake Allen no disrespect but there is no way he will achieve that so i think it is time to say thanks but no thanks. Go for broke with Krcmer, Anders Thomsen, Rob Branford and Alex a bit light at the tale but the top end could be flying. Listen to the fans John and George they might turn up in the numbers required if you give them a team of flyers.
-
Or as many believe an Eddie
-
Naaaaaah new money calling the shots It a bit like playing Chess Their move our move
-
Leaves only 3.24 for last rider weak tail with that
-
How about Kus 7.52 on a two year contract Edberg 3.84 suspect a nailed on return Anders Thomsen 5.86 loads of potential on decent bikes Nico Covatti 4.19 should improve on that surely.
-
Suspect we may be heading back to the PW years where we hang on till the end of Jan/Feb and see who will bite for a few quid unfortunately the fans won't accept this anymore if that is how it is to be call it quits and shut the doors. If we ain't competitive after last season the numbers in the stand will be pretty sparse.
-
With Allen and Barker leading the line at Berwick this year be a few battles between the Banditoo's and the Weegies for the top of the table might even be worth Eddie's £20.00.
-
If we count away then your dropping but the money you put in someone else's till has no breaking whatsoever on Berwick Bandits financial situation.
-
The reason Eddie is happy to ph £20 is he is only there for 60-70% of the meetings but if that's how he feels I'm sure he can pay £20 when he comes along. Maybe we can have a normal gate and an Eddie gate to recognise his contribution to speedway.
-
500 fans at £20 plus programme hits the magic figure of £10000 a meeting job done
-
Are you telling me that the Bandits number 1 fan is not aware of their asset base.
-
I thought rabies had been eradicated in the UK. Missed a trick with young Jackobsen has talent.
-
Nay chance of getting that team now Screm lucky if we get Adam McKinna
-
Agree been there done that but good avg for quick rider.
-
Robin give it a rest Bunyan got nothing to offer Berwick
-
Did'nt Kus signed a two year deal when he joined last year, Herd Alden riding again next season but only wants home meetings
-
So it looks like we are keeping Kus, Doolan, Vissing and Edberg using 25.46 assuming no changes to points limit leaves 17.04 How about Ricky Wells, Anders Thomsen and Dimitre Berge. Balanced no super stars but stability and potential throughout. Answers on a postcard

According to the management Ben is the guy to take us to the next level
