First time visit to Oxford tonight and it’s a really good set up there. What they’ve managed to do to bring speedway back to Cowley is fantastic. Unfortunately the team has just not delivered this year but the strange/weak team changes were never going to work in the Spires’ favour. Bomber was very poor tonight. As for Leicester, on a whole I think they are the form team for the play offs. Weak reserves but their top 5 is the strongest now. The way I have it is 2 Leicester wins draws them level with Sheffield. Sheffield have 129 PD Leicester have 115. So they need an aggregate win of 15+ against Kings Lynn next week to top the table. I am expecting a Leicester vs Sheffield final with Leicester edging it for the win.

Sheffield to hit 60 or very close to it.

Sadly the top heavy approach to the team was Witches downfall. Well done to them for getting so far with such a long tail, but it came back to bite them in the end.
