My goodness. Aren't we speedway supporters a bunch of optimists! It goes back to good old-fashoned housekeeping. You can only spend what you are bringing in. For the right reasons, we have threads and posts on the BSF with advice on how to bring more people through the door and stopping others leaving. Wake up folks it ain't gonna happen. We need to cut our cloth accordingly. Cut costs!

Hopefully it will be good news. What would be even better news would be for promoters at the AGM to agree to reduce admission prices by cutting costs ... starting with riders wages - most of which gets spent on trying to get faster machinery and relatively speaking "the riders are standing still".

It's a perfectly reasonable request, made for the right reasons. Is this being over-looked? In my opinion the over-reaction is not with those who've made the request initially.
