Still no reply to the fact there were no puddles on the track at 7:30.

If you're using SKY+ to record Wednesday night's meeting and have set for "Record Series" (series link) this season for EL meetings, you need to record Monday and Wednesday nights PL meetings!

Not just Ben with a point to prove on Thursday, James Sarjeant too. This is going to be one tough meeting. Ippo have a handy team. Our boys will really need to be firing all cylinders to even get a point. Hope Rene is fully prepared as so often we see mid season "newcomers" needing to adjust and first meeting can return a low score.

I can still remember the days when you'd turn up and there was zero dirt on the track and a nice blue patch entering beds 1 and 3 after a few heats. The result - zero overtaking and fans complaining. On Sunday there was one area of concern between bends 3 and 4, this was the area Aaron stood at with Stewart and was subsequently given treatment, but no watering. If crescentgirl is correct, it doesn't say much for the Edinburgh promotion if they hadn't heard of a rider and lo and behold he turns up for his "Edinburgh's Got Talent" audition and gets signed.

Mate, try either of these for your Edinburgh visit. Relatively near to track if you're driving and shouldn't suffer from inflated prices due to Edinburgh Festival. Beefeaters next door for food, drink. Both are in the sticks and on motorway junctions so nothing else within walking distance. As I say to all my English work colleagues .... remember we have a different drink drive limit in Scotland! One pint might be too much!
