Hope I don't win it. Wouldn't know where to store it! -
Edinburgh V Sheffield (pl) 8/8/13 @ 7.30pm
george.m replied to Mr Blobby's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I'm starting to get fed up with all these serious injuries/crashes. Hope they're both OK. -
This could be an entertaining meeting as the two are evenly matched. In addition to those mentioned above, will be interesting to see how Joey Ringwood goes on the bigger circuit.

Hope Joe gets a good rest and break from the sport and decides to come back. Too good a talent to lose.

Quite simple really. When you've: 1. Been shafted week in week out 2. Forgotten what its like to win 3. Had to seek medical help for vertigo when your team reach the dizzy heights of 40 points at home ... then all that's left in this life is to fantasise. Sorry have to go now.... .... the cast of Babestation are begging me to satisfy them .... .... for the 12th time today. Try it some time! -

Great point you make about the posters, especially valid where teams are in holiday areas. You're right, people are looking for something different to do and I know from my current line of work that people on holiday are more likely to change their habits and try something different/new. What chance Possil in Glasgow becoming a holiday destination? -

Aye, that is a big concern. We've been fortunate to have stability with the top scorer for many years with the Messiah and Joe. Do we want the same again? If we do (and I do) then we've got a tough job on our hands finding someone. James has been a given, more or less, for years. Team building in 2014 will be very different next year compared to recent ones. Having said all this, maybe no fixed number one and James, will make team building easier, a blank sheet so to speak. Not sure Friday night is possible - floodlights needed and air fence takes priority, both in same season not financially possible unless we get a sugar daddy. Even if we do, there is no guarantee of improved crowds, we can certainly say adios to away fans who can make the weekend trip - except the enemy (oops - cue post from a.n. other forum member ) of course. On a different note, what's the current situation on the Raj? Is he riding at present? -

Who said you were? HA, every GP forum members question PR as if he's the BSI spokesperson. I have seen previous threads where folks cross the line with him. He is a journalist and is good enough to respond, inform and explain. We're lucky to have him on here. He doesn't need to. He is not BSI as some infer by their posts. If they have an issue with SGP (which I have no problem with) write to them. -

Maybe they're hoping to develop a bigger fan base for speedway in Italy as the Italian's are known for their liking of two wheeled motor sports. Speculate to accumulate! Has no one heard of the term loss-leader? FFS It's hardly Phil's fault, yet week after week people on this board shoot the messenger. I'd refer some posters to the "Why the Animosity" thread in the Discussion section of the forum. -

BSPA is missing a PR trick with this one. The real speedway promoters of bygone years would have milked his one in the national press for all it's worth. All publicity is good publicity as the saying goes. Still a chance to do so. New golden boy of British speedway puts the lights out of a rider who, if given the choice, would be reincarnated as himself.
