  1. Wonder how many kids were queuing outside the local GP yesterday morning with symptoms of PTSD? Anyway, a few pics from the meeting .... and of course, these come with a Parental Guidance warning. https://www.flickr.com/photos/glasgowtigersspeedway/albums/72157668861487063
  2. Not really. Couple of mill invested mainly in the stadium. Not on team building. If we had millions to invest in the team we would have had won the league last year ... riders would have been paid enough to give Poland a miss on Sundays.
  3. Masters is now a WC finalist so everyone should accommodate his every whim.
  4. Edinburgh will do anything to get some pennies in the biscuit tin.
  5. Anymore posts from those who actually attended the meeting?
  6. Some one trick ponies on here that only do wind up and nothing else contributed. Pretty boring really.
  7. Genuinely, the paying public should know who is riding. Decisions may well be made by some on whether or not to travel. Amateurs running our sport I'm afraid.
  8. Spot on. No frills. Reliable scores at home. Does what is expected of him.
  9. Sense of humour by-pass. As usual tone lowered. Set Parental control on folks.
  10. Please. I'll have an "etc". Looking forward to seeing what that is.
  11. Minions Begging Bowl making an appearance at various shopping centres, buildings of historic interest, drug dens, lap dancing establishments and tram stations throughout Edinburgh for the next two weeks.
  12. Can understand the comments re Danny's celebration however he does this weekly if/when he wins. It's more about him showing his appreciation to the fans and his love of the club - the race win is a platform for him to do so. It's a cult thing at Glasgow and we all love it. The kids love it and it certainly attracts 3 I know each week!
  13. Can appreciate some of the comments about the quality of racing from those watching on TV. The track wasn't ideal in the early heats (due to the pre-meeting weather), and very different for the home riders, add to that some of the Edinburgh riders still finding their feet. Having said that, if you were at the meeting you'd have had a good night's entertainment - credit to all involved. And that puts bums on seats. Even the Monarch's fans attending would have enjoyed the meeting being so close and taking a few home scalps on the way.
  14. Don't think you're really picking up where this is going with all due respect.
  15. There was no surface water on the track at 7:30. So what damage are we talking about here.
