Gp Qualifier Sat June 7th @ Berwick
george.m replied to screm's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Chris Harris has as much right to be in the qualifiers as anyone else. If he chooses to participate that is up to him. The man makes his living out of the sport. -

A girl in a bar once said to me "You're tall, what height are you?" Replied, " 6'5" " "Are you built in proportion?" Replied, " If I was, I'd be 8'7" -

Greater men have tried that and failed! You'll need size 13s for a start. Still, always good to see in print that the Minions follow the Tigers! -
Well that's the mirror on the wall and SKY's pre-season programme on't telly. Now where did I leave that Stella? No electric wires drilled through ... miracle! I'll give the mirror about a week before it's in pieces on the gludgy floor. Marriage is also intact, despite my divorce threats ... no thanks to Ikea's best efforts to drive me nuts with their useless instructions. Do my glasses look like a microscope? Why do you provide instructions on an A4 size piece of paper, with the writing in 2mm font size? Think green and save a tree you Scandinavian schmucks! I opened up the packaging to find screws and rawplugs are not provided. Why in Shane Parker's name don't they tell you that on the outside of the pack!! Oh and by the way Mr Ikea, I bought a mirror, not a set of shelves! In my therapeutic DIY session there is one thing I have figured out though. You know those stupid names Ikea give their products, like ... Bigboobiez Whanka Puke Todger Knobcheez Phart ... these are actually swear words in Swedish or where ever it is Ikea pays its taxes. Very useful when you have a young kid in the house and you discover you've drilled four 10mm holes in the wrong part of the wall. Cheers Sven!

My dear old mum has Alzheimer's. With the drugs she's in a happy place, it makes it much easier for us. So sad to read this about such a great man who's done so much for speedway. Good luck.

Must be the Ibrox micro climate screm. Aberdeen fans will wreck Ibrox now. No seat safe. Stewart Milne should leave a blank cheque at the main door on his way home. -
Neither now, poor decision making on my part. Oh well, Scottish cup semi on the telly, Liverpool v City on the iPad, BSF on the lap top, beer on the table. Big breakfast still in the belly. Masters tonight! Hoover and ironing board are safe. Will need to give the gym a miss, that's 10 years in a row. Update: Hold that thought. The bliss lasted all of 20 minutes. She who must be obeyed wants a new mirror put up in the bathroom. I hate DIY! Anyone got any change for the swearbox? I'll need at least a fiver. See you all in two hours ..... minus a thumb.

Watching the cup semi just now and no rain at Ibrox. Must be the Ashfield micro climate. -

Being No1 carries many responsibilities, and one of them is to be getting the points on the board for the team. Just look at Cook, 14 or 15 points guaranteed and only another 30 needed from your team mates. (Of course there's not many Craig Cooks around). If Wolbert doesn't do the business and get's replaced I wouldn't lose any sleep. -

A few moist panties amongst the Banditos already! -
Yeah, agree with your comments re Aaron 100%. The video just prompted the question in my mind and I was trying to think back to when I've seen him live or on TV last season and couldn't really recall whether he did or not. He is head and shoulders above anyone I've seen over many years in the PL, in fact the last rider I've seen dominate the way he does was probably Joe Owen. Like any rider you want to see them reach their full potential (unless it against the Tigers of course ), and this would include team riding skills if he he doesn't fully demonstrate them at present. Which, as I say I don't know if he does or not. Hope he gets into the GB World Cup squad and rattles up a good few points.
