  1. Dunno about riders, some of the people running the sport are on something.
  2. Best race of the night? The kids running race round the track. How original. Best part? The false start that the ref allowed. Start them young at Embra.
  3. Spot on, the Rebels were quicker out the traps today nearly every heat. Young Dan has matured beyond recognition from the rider we've seen on other occasions at Ashfield this season. He really was as good as everyone says. Well done to the Rebels today, fully deserved the win. We can have no excuses.
  4. Brilliant! Hope you're using your talents to the full!
  5. For you and the other Embra BSF members who weren't members back then, you will have missed the total condemnation of that by Glasgow fans on here. So really you're pushing on an open door there.
  6. Now that we have Covergate, that Glasgow postponement becomes all the more suspicious. Blue skies that night at 7:30 and a tractor out grading the track. Yet they have covers. Are we really supposed to believe they had no volunteers that day? Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't recall there ever being a request from the club for volunteers to lay the covers. "Superior" covers. Yeah, like the wrong type of snow on the railway line.
  7. So can someone please explain why the promotion bought covers when even two fans (no disrespect intended) on here know there is an issue with getting volunteers?
  8. So if they do, are they using them. And yes, I understand they only work before a meeting not during it if it's raining.
  9. For me the key for Glasgow is Garcia. He's been a tad inconsistent since moving to No2. Let's hope the right one turns up Sunday.
  10. Unbelievable bad luck this season. Thought Embra had covers.
  11. So it does make a difference. So you've answered your own question then. Well done.
  12. Lets see. Would you rather be hit, or have someone nearly hit you. Awaits usual mature response.
  13. Ah, you're back then. That was a long time you were Googling. I assume you did, as I know you'll want to see both sides to every story from the morale high ground. Did you find anything? And just why is it you keep asking these questions of people on BSF who obviously have heard/read about it second hand? How can they possibly give you an informed answer? Why not ask the Glasgow promotion yourself ... face to face. I dare you! No, I double dare you! Ah, how stupid of me to think you wish to unravel the full facts in a CSI style. You're questions are just veiled mischief making. Tut, tut! Naughty, naughty Clouseau. A word of advice on your obvious inability to handle frustration and anger. You can get help you know. Or even try a wee bit of "how's your father". I'm assuming you've reached the legal age to do so.
  14. Aww for goodness sake. This is a Rye House thread. And yes I know I've responded to an off topic, but this is yet another attempt at going off.
  15. Very close today. With two heats remaining, my derriere was resembling CSI Cyclone's after a Snapper litigation threat. Cometh the hour, cometh the men. Richie and Nike did the business ... and did Nike come up with the goods, or did he come up with the goods? Ipswich were in the hunt until that point and credit to them for being so. With the exception of Scunthorpe and Edinburgh (KOC) we've been fortunate to enjoy close meetings this season.
