  1. Wish I could make it on Friday, unfortunately work calls!Enjoy, should be a a cracking atmosphere and turnout ... As for the result ... I can only live in hope but your guys will be fired up! Enjoy
  2. Come on Young51, going by our record in recent years one win means a great deal. That's a back handed compliment to you guys. There's now a light at the end of our tunnel, dinnae switch it off!
  3. So true. All banter apart, Scottish speedway is on the up since the Glasgow changes. Crowds are up at Ashfield. There was a great atmosphere at Ashfield yesterday, and that's been missing for a long time. It's all good stuff now in Scotland and all teams benefit.
  4. A few pics from yesterday https://www.flickr.com/photos/glasgowtigersspeedway/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/glasgowtigersspeedway/16581690344/ Zoom in and check out the warm hand gestures from the fans beside the red pillar.
  5. Glasgow v Edinburgh, League Cup, 19th April 2015 https://www.flickr.com/photos/glasgowtigersspeedway/
  6. Why the excuses all the time for Cook. Engine blown Friday, Lawson flinched ... so what? Can't he cope with all the needs of the sport? You seem to lack confidence in his overall abilities, otherwise why make all the excuses for him? Just as well the promotion have more confidence in him than you do, as seen by them sending him off the "naughty step" in Heat One. Which I think he did pretty well from.
  7. On today's performance Branford shouldn't be a concern - Riss and Sedgman are though.
  8. He's matured somewhat. We had a great view of it down the back straight and he was superb. With so many distractions here tonight, the one thing I keep forgetting to mention was Cook's tape touching in Heat 1. That seems to be forgotten/forgiven, but for me Embra were on the back foot from the start. Not what you'd expect from a rider of his reputed experience and potential.
  9. Last week we were told they were new ones and had been tested continually for 4 days. So not sure what's going on. Pity folks from Edinburgh are too tight to do a "cup of sugar" or they could have brought theirs.
  10. Unfortunately it seems they're not the sort of thing you can just buy off the shelf.
  11. Admittedly not well written/punctuated Dekks but not "all supporters".
  12. Loving it tonight, so many Minions whinging .... The track was dusty It was doctored One of our riders was mince A Glasgow person looked at one of our riders the wrong way There's an R in the month You're coming on here whinging like someone else gives a f***
  13. Oh how quickly the faithful turn against their own. Sedgmen getting singled out unfairly. Where's the King's clothes tonight Stepford Wives?
  14. He really is struggling tonight. Any excuse going, any point scoring, any moral high ground, telling Porkies (again!). Turning on one of his own. Anything at all. The guy is desperation personified.
  15. Always know your team has done the business when all opponents supporters can do is single out a scapegoat in their own team and slag off a track. As for "dust bowl", well I caught you out at the first meeting this season Mr Porkie when you tried to mislead others on the forum. Photos will be on Flickr later and people can decide for themselves if it was a dust bowl ... anyone want to guess now what the answer is? You're team (if you can call 4 riders a team) got humped!
  16. #givenaseeingtoo. Game over by heat 12, including a tactical and a gifted win to Two Kevs.
  17. One good thing ahead of tomorrow ... at least we know Glasgow have sold their starting gate to Warsaw.
  18. I'd agree. Heat leaders not showing early doors the home track dominance expected. Still, early days. Wish I shared your view. Masters looked very comfortable around Ashfield guesting for Bandits. And Cook is Cook.
  19. We're going to need all 7 riders firing on all cylinders tomorrow to stand any chance. Edge of the seat feeling tonight.
  20. What's it like? Say anything about the Monarchs other than the King's clothes look wonderful and you can almost hear them scurrying to their keyboards in a mass panic to defend their oh so perfect club. Feel sorry for them, they've lost the ability to think as individuals. Bit creepy. It's like the Stepford Wives!
