Yeah I got that. I just don't think we should count chickens. Too much squeaky bum here at the halfway stage. -

Maybe the usual suspects ignored it because it's a non-question.

Think you're debating with yourself there mate, the point of my original post wasn't about Einstein. I'll bow to your superior knowledge about Einstein. -

No sources ... just gave you two! Anyways, back to the point being made ......... -
Well I was joking, so if you need to be serious. And if you do want to be serious with posters, why aren't you commenting on MrB's post which some could if they wish take offensive? I wonder why not? I'm not saying Ashfield or it's surroundings is perfect. Nor any better or worse than Armadale. So to answer you're question directly .... yes, I have personally experienced excessive foul language at Armadale to such an extend that on one occasion it led to my wife no longer attending, nor allowing my daughter to attend. The person doing it ... a middle aged woman in the "shed" using very industrial language in front of my 10 year old at the time and her cousin, standing directly in front of her as was my wife. Oh and she also had to be restrained by one another supporter. First derby meeting this year at Ashfield a female Embra supporter (and I know who she is!) was accusing all and sundry around her of deliberately blocking her view, walking on her space (she was standing in a passageway ... doh!) hit my wife with her programme and then deliberately stood on her foot. I will not put in a public forum what we all thought of her. So if you want to make this a serious issue, I'd have a more impartial view if I was you because some Edinburgh supporters are not well behaved!

Friday nights safer outside Ashfield stadium, than Friday nights inside Armadale stadium.

The problem is a selfish promotion. And before anyone says it would cost them money, they're not making any anyway!

You haven't said what he did say! I await to be corrected. Until then ... https://knowledgecompass.wordpress.com/2010/09/16/albert-einstein-quotes-knowledge-learning-change-and-creativity/ http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/a/albert_einstein.html -
I hope they do dig them in deep Gaz, but southern promoters won't want two trips to Scotland on a Friday night ... and the chance of losing a rider to Glasgow.

People who've been there, seen it, done it and no current self interest giving the benefit of their experience .... ... as Einstein said "the only source of knowledge is experience". -
All round it was a great day, and the promotion put on a well planned and executed show fitting of both sides that said "hey Edinburgh might have won but let's put on a show for the Monarchs fans that turned up even if Glasgow have lost". Any neutrals or newbies must have been impressed. As for the foot off the gas comment by one Edinburgh poster. Yes I was one of the first on here to respond to it, but did so in the hope it would be shot down there and then as the whole meeting deserved to be recognised and remembered on BSF rather than be overshadowed by one throwaway wind-up comment by someone who most probably wasn't even at the meeting (going by previous posts). Foot off the gas or not, it was a well deserved victory by Edinburgh, a great show by both sets of riders on the track and a suitable event in recognition of a cup final by the promotion off it.
