In fairness to MrB, Gaz I can't even remember him attacking a poster on here. So can't imagine he condones unacceptable behaviour. He's right, there were people on edge ... I was one of them. And he's also right .. the letter did add fuel - just need to see FB. When it comes to unacceptable behaviour, instead of people wearing their team colours , decent fans should join as one and simply point out those guilty to the appropriate authorities.

With Edinburgh's future in doubt .... The Facenna's should: Buy the Armadale dog stadium. Reduce the Monarch's rent. Run dogs on a Friday night. BSPA have no jurisdiction over waste land, sorry dog kennels. Job done! Problems "go away" (thanks for prompting the idea Lord Cyclone with your Soprano comments) Cue .... Lord Cyclone ( AKA - he who must be obeyed, AKA - how high sir?, AKA I was moist last night at the grace, beauty and sheer wonderment of the most glorious set of 7 men this planet has been privileged to accommodate). Monarchladette! (AKA - Speak and spell)

How ironic when the Monarchs bring up Glasgow's substantial investment in a negative sense. Without it, we wouldn't have floodlights. Without floodlights, their choice for PL Final dates would have been either: 1. First leg at Edinburgh last night, second at Glasgow tomorrow. So they don't get favoured second leg at home. 2. First leg Glasgow tomorrow, second leg after Masters/Sedgmen gone home. Hmmm!

I'd heard a rumour, not sure how reliable it was, that it's Ingliston for Embra in 2016. However, as that's more than 30 miles from Ashfield it wouldn't tie up with last night's letter.

All this talk about Glasgow on Fridays will take fans away from Edinburgh. OK let's put some context on this. How many Glasgow fans on average go to Edinburgh each meeting (excluding Glasgow meetings)? How may neutrals on average got to Edinburgh each meeting (excluding Glasgow meetings)? For worst case scenario, multiply the total figure, by what say £20, which assumes programme and drink. And there's the amount of money Edinburgh think they need each week, that they won't get.

Like your style cyclone, delegate to others. If you have a concern, why not look into it yourself. Get up off your arse, springs to mind. If you did, you'd know the promotion have already researched this. Long time ago in fact. You seem to have much interest in Glasgow's well-being, so surprised your genuine concerns haven't unearthed this already. Friday nights is what the public want. Try Google or FB, I'm sure you'll also see a copy of the Facennas letter at Armdale tonight, one of your supporters will no doubt be waving it around and getting off on it.

So veiled moral high ground argument being deployed. Really you're just having a dig, be honest. Oh and didn't Edinburgh and Glasgow once ride on a Friday? If you want to talk money, have a look closer to home and get your own house in order first. Yet again this season your promotion has put together a team that revenues cannot support. Oh and then threaten closure (unless the fans stump up) at the start of the season, once the team has been assembled! If they weren't chasing glory they would have assembled a team that income can support. The big question for you guys is ... "Why did they feel the need to assemble a glory chasing team in the first place"? I wonder .....

The only ones being pathetic are the narcissistic Monarchs. It's them that think "because they have a bit of money" is the driving force for the Brothers. Do they really think X number of months ago the Facennas were thinking, we have a bit of spare cash what can we do with it? Oh yes, let's show the speedway world that we have a lot of cash? Really!!! Stop gazing at you're belly buttons (nothing intended there MrB )and see the bigger picture. All I can see now is certain Monarchs starting to feel the heat!

Can't believe the Edinburgh promotions reaction. They must know what they're up against if they chose to go down the route of non-cooperation. The Brothers are very successful at what they do, and I strongly suspect will overcome any hurdles put in their way to give the Glasgow public the product they want. Or if you want to be cynical, you don't invest £1.8 million and allow short sighted rivals to stop the railroad that's building momentum by the day. Edinburgh can either jump on the train and benefit, or try to stand in it's way. If they chose to stand in it's way .......

I really do have to laugh. Glasgow have new owners and a new promotion. They're beginners in speedway. They've had an unbelievable start. Improvements are evident each week. They're learning as they go and not afraid to admit to themselves when things are wrong, and fix it. They've invested heavily in the sport. They've secured the long term future of speedway in Glasgow. And what do we hear from the East ... promotion and fans ... petty nit-picking. A long term secure Glasgow future is good for Edinburgh. Can they not see that? Or is it the usual narcissistic behaviour we've come to expect of them? Or is it a case of "we've been around for years, we're superior, we have the t-shirt. You're just the petulant new kid on the block. How dare you"? Or maybe, Glasgow's improvements put pressure on Edinburgh to up their game to give their fans an equally good product?

Safe to assume it's not yours! There is a logic to my assumptions as is clear for all to see by the points made. You sir, show no evidence to back up your assumptions. And attack the poster not the post, which is usually the case when someone has no evidence to back up their post. On another point, as it appears you were are Ashfield last night, did you do the research with parents "as to whether they would prefer taking their offspring to Possilpark on a Sunday afternoon or a Friday evening/night"? And did you take the opportunity to investigate ... "In the past couple of years I recall exiting Ashfield at the end of a Sunday derby to find the police controlling crowd movement as they had taped off an area surrounding the Ashfield Bar. Do you or any of your pals recall this and what had happened ?" Or were these just veiled digs at Glasgow speedway, whilst purporting to be concerned about people's welfare?

At the start of the season, and I'll stand corrected on this, but were the Embra promotion not saying if 2015 was another loss making season they would close? As they have indicated they will object to Glasgow Friday nights, I assume they're running 2016. If so, I assume they have broken even in 2015 from all income streams. Or were the Embra fans being misled in the first place?
