Give me a stadium where you can see 4 riders rather than the top of 4 helmets. Give me a team of triers rather than a helmut any day.

Not for me to justify to others the price hike. After all I don't know others disposable incomes nor personal circumstances and to do so I can only judge by mine. I feel it's wrong to do so. In respect of the size of increase. Relative to 2015 it's large. No arguing with figures. However, if 2015 had been £16 or £16.50, then it wouldn't be the same hike. So those of us attending last year got the benefit. Or is that forgotten? Taken for granted? As for the need for more revenue, the new promoters invested a small fortune in upgrading the stadium at very high risk. Reality is, if they sold Ashfield tomorrow they would recoup very little, if anything of that money. They also invested in putting on a more professional show and additional entertainment. It must have cost a small fortune. At the end of season meeting, they said 2016 would be even bigger and better. Time will tell. It's their issue if it's not. But I for one am prepared to have faith in them until they do something to change that. People talk only of them as pumping in money. From what I've seen and heard the Facennas work damn hard. They're not afraid to get stuck in and get their hands dirty. Not forgetting the volunteers. They've put sweat in as well. If they have money they've earned it and can do the hell what they want with it. To all the petty minded, nit picking, non Glasgow supporters who criticise them - you wouldnt last a week working with those boys. You'd be bitching about working conditions just like you bitch about your team not having good riders in 2016 because of Glasgow. Where's your credentials? The money that's gone into riders is small fry compared to the stadium. It's only yourself your kidding on here when you say otherwise. So if they chose to charge more, that's their decision. If they've got it wrong, then it's their problem. But one I'm sure they'll fix.

Gaz no doubt you'll see the irony on here nowadays as you too have been a member for a few years. I can remember the days when we had a few Moanarchs consistently complaining (Edinburgh folk DNA) about the quality of posts by "outsiders" on "their" thread. Lack of substance, wind ups, criticism - all these words spring to mind. Now we have a few decent Monarchs who are decent guys to exchange banter; a laugh; unbiased discussion. Unfortunately they're hardly on here now (awaits the usual suspects to use this for their own predictable devices). Instead we have a few with their sole purpose not being to contribute to BSF, but rather to use it as a tool for their own gratification. Be that, point scoring like a child, Old Firm mentality (as Dekks rightly calls it), or trolling. Then of course we have the pleasure of someone who simply uses it as a means of boosting his self esteem by continually feeling the need to show a group of people, that he doesn't even know, that he has the power of knowledge they don't. Takes me back to my psychology studies. That power/control thing would be a real worry for me.
