  5. Not permanently He said that he wouldn't ride anything this year because doctors told him that he wasn't fit enough for Elite level yet and Kenni decided that it was either elite level or nothing. I don't he ever said that it was a permanent retirement.
  6. Kenni Larsen says that his goal is to get back to the level he was at before his accident. http://www.dr.dk/sporten/motorsport/video-speedwaykoerer-efter-skud-i-hovedet-jeg-vil-tilbage-paa-mit-gamle-niveau#!/01:32
  7. Smederna's new big screen under construction. https://www.instagram.com/p/BUwOXIaD0gF/
  8. ' Not much to see if one judge by the scores. Lejonen is 10 up already and it's only 5 heats done.
  9. It already says 17.00. Still raining at Smedstadion. It should stop soon but unlikely with a before 20.00
  10. Sam Masters is possibly in for Krystian Pieszczek.
  11. It's 17.00 http://www.cmore.se/sport/spel/3912551-piraterna-rospiggarna http://eskilstunasmederna.se/match/tavlingar-pa-eskilstuna-motorstadion/ http://www.elitspeedway.com/nyheter/e/150/samtliga-matcher-startar-1700-pa-nationaldagen/ Some of the meetings may also be delayed due to rain that is and have passed over southern-central Sweden today. https://www.smhi.se/vadret/nederbord-molnighet/radar-blixt-sverige
  12. Nope 4pm UK time. I am surprised (or maybe not) that they chose that meeting. The national day derby between Smederna and Masarna would have been a better choice.
  13. yes that is correct. Just a misunderstanding from my part.
  14. He have become a father. https://www.facebook.com/twoffinden/photos/a.794553520569395.1073741828.702502843107797/1540225979335475/?type=3
  15. It's Monday today which makes tomorrow Tuesday which is equal to Elitserien speedway. Here are the preliminary line-ups for tomorrow's round 4. TV-meeting is Indianerna - Lejonen which I hope will be a good meeting since the Sannahed track usually provides good speedway. Indianerna - Lejonen Indianerna Piotr Protasiewicz Bjarne Pedersen Adrian Miedzinski Nicolai Klindt Kenneth Bjerre Victor Palovaara Ludvig Lindgren Lejonen Piotr Pawlicki Mathias Thörnblom Maksym Drabik Krystian Pieszczek Hans Andersen Magnus Karlsson Chris Holder Masarna - Rospiggarna Masarna Linus Sundström Tai Woffinden Robert Lambert Przemyslaw Pawlicki Joel Andersson Antonio Lindbäck Kim Nilsson Artur Czaja Rospiggarna Andreas Jonsson Jacob Thorssell Max Fricke Timo Lahti Jason Doyle Nicklas Porsing Nike Lunna Elit Vetlanda - Piraterna Elit Vetlanda Martin Vaculik Jonas Davidsson Jarek Hampel Oliver Berntzon Bartosz Zmarzlik Tomas H Jonasson Szymon Wozniak Piraterna Greg Hancock Daniel Davidsson Emil Sayfutdinov Peter Kildemand R/R Niels-Kristian Iversen Joel Larsson Damian Balinski Eskilstuna Smederna - Dackarna Eskilstuna Smederna Michael Jepsen Jensen Linus Eklöf Matej Zagar Pontus Aspgren Grigorij Laguta Mikkel Michelsen Andrej Karpov Dackarna Fredrik Lindgren Maciej Janowski Anders Thomsen Patryk Dudek Kacper Gomolski Peter Ljung Joel Kling Maciej Janowski Mads Korneliussen To be honest there are way too many foreign riders riding as reserves. Holder, Balinksi, Karpov, Michelsen, (Janowski originally intended as reserve but moved up to #1), Korneliussen, Lunna, Wozniak, Czaja. Most ridiculous is of course Holder and Janowski, There are no way the current 4th placed rider in the SGP should be allowed to ride as a reserve. As for the meeting themselves, I think this is hard round to predict.. I think Smederna should be able to bring in a home win. The issue is Eklöf at #2 but with Karpov and Michelsen as reserves, they shall take two of Eklöf's heat I hope. Masarna without Tai is obviously a bit weaker even if Lambert is pretty good as well but I think Rospiggarna will take that one. I also think that Vetlanda should be able to defeat Piraterna at home. Indianerna - Lejonen are difficult to predict. I suspect that it will be a close meeting without any clear favourite, Kildemand is out due to a broken foot. https://www.vetlandaposten.se/article/piratstjarna-missar-motet-med-elit-vetlanda/ blank race card http://www.mediafire.com/file/03s0s7pjyh1yviz/Blank_Heat_schedule_ES.AS.pdf ranking list http://www.svemo.se/sv/Grenar/Speedway/Elitserien2017/Rankinglista/ Live results http://www.svemo.se/sv/Grenar/Speedway/ Weather forecast does show some rain but it should have stopped by race start at 19.00 at most tracks. Vetlanda - Piraterna might be a little delayed though,
  16. With the final round being held in the end of October at Melbourne which pretty much is as far away you can get from Europe, I think it wouldn't work out with logistics and etc. Then I think some riders like Holder would normally stay in Australia and they would then be forced to go back to Europe and then back to Australia again. That would be a waste of money and also very environment unfriendly with riders + their equipment flying back and forth between Europe and Australia,
  17. Of those who still are in the qualifications for next season's SGP and does not currently ride in the SGP, I think Laguta and Milik are the only ones of real interest. However Laguta isn't that good starter and the smaller temporary tracks probably won't suite him especially well.
  18. Dudek is 1p ahead of Doyle and I think that Mickey Mouse do have a point in that we're quite likely to see allot more of tonight's top 3 trio (and other younger Polish riders as well)
  19. The weather for Tuesday does not look good for all of the tracks. Lots of rain is expected and at the moment it looks doubtful if Tuesday's meeting can go ahead if the forecasts turns out to be correct.
  20. 21. Yesterday evening's meeting between Holsted and Esbjerg was aborted after 8 heats due to an unrideable track despite great weather. Leaving 3200 in the attendance with only half a meeting on a poor track. Holsted released a press release today where they announced that their meeting against Fjelsted on August 2nd will have free entrance. Holsted claims that the track shale didn't behave as expected, that this was due to heavy raining the the two previous meetings and that they should have added new shale to the track surface to prevent the track from being unrideable. http://holsted-speedway.dk/nyheder/pressemeddelelse+_817/
  22. That means Kildemand is in, Nicki update https://twitter.com/NickiP_Racing/status/867636647105622016

  24. Before I forget it, all meetings in round 5 will start at 17.00 (5pm) Swedish time since it is a public holiday.
