It has been mentioned that Cook had a warning and that it would be risky to use him because of that. -

The difference is that in SWC 3 out of 4 teams in each semi are pretty good (if you would remove seeding); Swe, GB, DK, Pol, Rus & Aus. These teams primarily fight for first place to avoid race-off and there are usually quite tight results. -

Some transfer rumours based on this article. Smederna, Indianerna and Rospiggarna will not make any changes. Dackarna might have to replace Gomolski since he is rumoured to want to leave. Joel Andersson at Masarna might be available. Vetlanda might not make any changes unless a special riders becomes available (Emil?) they might also be interested in acquiring a rider from another team. Lejonen will put Hampel into the team, it's unknown who they'll kick out, possibly Frederik Jakobsen. Masarna unknown. They might let go of one of their expensive riders since they said before the season that the sponsorship income was lower the needed for this season. Västervik, unknown if they will keep Nicki or if they replace him with Zagar.

I don't think there is a lack of tracks but lack of clubs being able to pay the fees that BSI demands. I know Smederna were interested in hosting a SWC event because Smederna's club president said so to the local newspaper last summer. -
Well see this post as to why I think i won't happen/why it isn't a good choice. In addition to that the entrance areas need to be improved. The inflow capacity is too low since the old entrance is more or less reduced to 1 line because of that the go-cart track has been allowed to expand massively the past 10 years. It has caused allot of problems for the speedway track.

Stockholm is a very nice city but the GP was held too late in the season. The summer is long gone in October and so is the summer temperatures. The ticket prices were too high and the racing was decent but not great. Not really the best way to attract a good attendance. Hallstavik track is an ok track, quite short though (289m) and the arena itself is relatively small. Like Målilla it is also situated in the middle of nowhere about 100 km north of Stockholm (about 90 minutes drive). It might not sound much but the roads are quite narrow. Hallstavik is a small town that don't have much to offer. I would recommend staying in Uppsala or Stockholm and renting a car.

Tactical substitutes, BZ and Laguta got two extra heats each which only get vetlanda 7-5 in total but prevented Smederna from finishing of Vetlanda. -

Weird, I thought I already replied to this post but it will be in the next round (after WCH Pairs break). Lejonen rode well but Masarna seems to be a quite weak team. I still think Lejonen and Masarna will be on the last two positions in the standings, possibly Lejonen can a top 6 finish. -

Lebedevs hadn't ridden 12 heats which is required for the floating average to become official. Until 12 heat is done, the season entry average will count as a floating average and Lebedevs' season entry average is higher then NKI's floating average. I forgot that Lebedevs only had done 11 heats. -

Disappointed with a tied result but tactical substitutes saved Vetlanda. -

R/R is averaged based. For Smederna NKI was 4th in the floating average list since Lebedevs only had done 11 heats. In this caste it means that Lindgren and MJJ cannot do one of NKI's heat. Only the rider at one step up in the list + the riders with lower averages can do R/R heats. It is the same for Västervik/Zagar. -

A very nice win by Indianerna at home against Dackarna. 46-44 -

Kumla is normally one of the racing tracks in Sweden BUT there haven't been a single drop of rain for like 3-4 weeks and it is almost 30 degrees hot today with very little or no clouds. It is therefore possible that Indianerna have been unable to water the track sufficiently since I think that the water will almost vaporize before it hit's the ground. -

Yep, that is correct. Peter PK Karlsson is the new team manager for Dackarna. -

Yeah Masarna were pretty weak, weaker then I expected IMO although Smederna is a strong team. -

Who? Iversen? He is to undergo a surgery and is expected to be back the week after the Speedway of nations break.
