  1. I disagree with that. Once a world champion always a world champion, there is no such thing as former world champion (unless title|s has been removed for disciplinary reasons).
  2. Yes I know that's why I said not many GP so far this season and that is also why there haven't been many complaints "The recent months". You can't complain on something that haven't happened yet.
  3. Most likely because there haven't been many temporary tracks or GPs so far this season.
  4. According to earlier in the thread helmets doesn't count anymore. Ncki didn't feign anything. MJJ took front wheel in the first one and Zmarzlik hit Nicki in the semi.
  5. Yeah, maybe a couple of good heats but overall a very rubbish track. BSI is apparently running this event by themselves now but likely they will direct the blame on someone else or something else in their usual style.
  6. I don't remember the exact rules for t/t but touching with the helmet doesn't count?
  7. Heat 13 could be really good too with MJJ, Pawlicki, Laguta AND Nicki. Especially MJJ vs. Nicki. 6 years ago MJJ snatched the victory from NP at Vojens GP.
  8. Round 7 (6?) on Tuesday will start 30 minutes later then normal due to Sweden's 1/8 final in the football world cup against Switzerland. The new start time is 19.30 CEST. If Sweden wins then the 1/4 will be at the same time as the GP in Hallstavik. http://www.speedwaynyheter.se/elitserien-ny-matchtid-pa-tisdag/
  9. Vetlanda will replace Szymon Wozniak who underwent surgery for muscle- and bone injury a few days ago http://se.aktuellspeedway.eu/2018/06/25/wozniak-opererad-skrivs-ut-fran-vetlanda/
  10. I am not sure I agree. He had a very good season last season but I think that last season showed his real potential. I have known about him for a quite a few years and he have shown potential for many years. I don't know exactly what's wrong but I would guess that it is equipment related. When things are not working it's easy to get lost when trying t sort things out. It then will affect your head which makes things worse. He is only 24 years old but it feels like he has been around for a long time. Anyhow he still has lots of time to fully boom. *edit it was his birthday yesterday.
  11. They were really good last season and Lebedevs won the SEC if you remember. Lebedevs have been struggling sofar this season but I think it might be equipment issues because he is still a very good rider IMO. Milik is doing very good this year too. 1.6 in Poland and 1.9 in Sweden so far this season. One shouldn't judge the riders skill/form from this round though since even Emil was poor. The track was rubbish and most often the rider who gated the best won the heat (which is why Hampel won).
  12. Well Shovy, I agree that the meeting was bad and that there were very (too) low attendance but it's not that surprising when you take into account that it rained and that it's football world cup. I also think cancelling the SEC because of a bad round. The SGP wasn't buried when there were the bad rounds in Tampere.
  13. So the gating tart won? I Hope for a better track for next round. ...and would you look at that. Tv-signal comes back just in time for prize ceremony.
  14. Lost TV-signal after heat 15 (still out), I assume I haven't missed much?
  15. There have also been a track reserve change. Robert Chmiel is in instead of whoever it was.
  16. Stadium looks very empty but it looks like it has rained which usually will scare off a good bunch.
  17. New Yorker, there is a thread in General discussions. http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/86534-leon-madsen/&page=1
  18. Michelsen announced on his Instagram, about 30 minutes ago, that he intends to ride tomorrow.
  19. It seems like it is. I just assumed that it was round 6 when I made the thread. Anyway heat 13 from Västervik - Smederna. Red = Nicki P, Blue = Kildemand , White = Michael Jepsen Jensen, Yellow = Niels K Iversen. No meetings next week and the week after that, Lejonen - Smederna will be the tv-meeting.
  20. Will Michelsen be fit in time though? He is still doing rehabilitation for his shoulder injury.
