  1. Well, I wouldn't say it was big. It was only 2632. Dackarna had just below 6000 and Smederna about 4500.
  2. Big hammer time! Smederna 16p up with only the nominations to go. I would choose Lindgren and Aspgren in heat 14 with Iversen and MJJ in heat 15. ForRospiggarna I would choose Fricke and AJ in heat 14 with Doyle and Lambert in heat 15. This victory means Smederna is back on top of the standings.
  3. Smederna are in command after 10 heats. Except for a 1-5 in heat 9 Smederna have looked pretty good. 12 points up with 5 heats to go. Track also looks better than last week but still not great though. Attendance is 4473.
  4. Smederna - Rospiggarna will have a delay after 7 heats due to problems with the start gate operation box in the referee tower. Meeting will resume once it has been replaced.

  6. For the first time ever or at least the first time in long time (I can't remember it happening before) there are scheduled back-to-back rounds in Elitserien. There have been postponed meetings before that have been held the day before/after (or even on the same day) as a scheduled meeting and there have obviously been post-season meetings two days in a row but not scheduled league meetings. Round 9 and 10 is the same teams meeting each other on both nights. R9: Dackarna – Vetlanda Lejonen – Västervik Eskilstuna Smederna – Rospiggarna Kumla Indianerna - Masarna R10: Vetlanda - Dackarna Västervik - Lejonen Rospiggarna - Eskilstuna Smederna Masarna – Kumla Indianerna Round 9 Preliminary line-ups: Dackarna – Vetlanda #Focus meting Dackarna 1. Smederna's track was exposed to a very intense rainfall for about 1 hours on the past Saturday. Once the rain stopped the track was back to super dry after less then 30 minutes so.... For the focus meetings, both meetings should provide excellent racing if the outside factors (weather and etc) cooperates.

  9. For Sweden, Smederna's Alexander Woentin have pulled out and is replaced by William Björling. Woentin injured his collarbone during the Euro U19 pairs in Zarnovica. http://se.aktuellspeedway.eu/2018/07/13/u21-skada-stoppar-woentin-i-lag-vm/
  10. Smederna released a press release today saying that Barncancerfonden (the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund) have been given the arrangement partnership for the Swedish individual championship finals in August. BCF will be given exposure in the meeting program, on the big screen and in Smederna's social media. After the finals the rider vests will be up for auction and 50% of the earnings will be donated to BCF. Smederna will also launch a fundraiser on their Facebook page. http://eskilstunasmederna.se/barncancerfonden-tilldelas-partnerskap-under-sm-helgen/
  11. Mikkel Michelsen have been awarded a wild card to the Danish final. http://dmusport.dk/dmu/nyheder/nyhed/dato/2018/07/11/spw-mikkel-michelsen-faar-plads-i-dm-finalen-1/
  12. Masarna's team manager about why they chose to use 5 Swedish riders. https://www.aftonbladet.se/a/oRGrEB Dackarna- Vetlanda on Tuesday and Västervik - Lejonen on Wednesday, two really good tracks.
  13. Smederna salvaged a draw in the last heat. Still a poor effort from Smederna and the gating was terrible.
  14. Lejonen will win this. 2p up with 2 heats to go and Hampel and Holder have been solid tonight.
  15. Two straight poor heats from Smederna makes 30-30 aftet 10 heats. Aspgren saved Smederna from 1-5 in heat 9 where Iversen finished last and in heat 10 Lindgren again made a bad start and were unable to pass Tungate.
  16. Paddy, i don't know exactly who. Closest higher floating average + all with lower average.
  17. Smederna's riders are struggling a bit with the gating. Track is rubbish so far with no overtaking. It's really dry and watering does not do much. 12-12 after 4 heats.
  18. Practice continues (with a little track action, pit action and more interviews).
  19. A short clip from Smederna's practice this morning. Mostly interviews (in Swedish).
  20. Transponders is in my opinion a complement to tapes and a replacement. It should be used to detect if a rider moves to early, and also possibly to determine dead heats.
  21. Also the news about Tai is that a sponsor have paid the money Tai was owed and that means that he will ride tomorrow. Przemyslaw Pawlicki likely suffered a concussion in last week's meeting and have decided to sit out this week's meeting.
