Polish Extraleague On The Net
Ghostwalker replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
does anyone know what happened with Jagus? he rode very poor and had a crash and later it looked like he might have got a smaller foot injury coz he was resting his foot on a chair? -
well i disagree. If you remember the GP two weeks ago we had an almost identical situation were Emil S ran into Nicki but was not excluded this Nicki got Ex'd for the same thing probably because he is Nicki. as for AJ the ref claimed technical error but the starter hadnt moved away so i just think AJ lost it and the ref screwed up somehow and claimed technical error to save his own a**.

that someone else is Tony Olsson. i think he is like assistant track director or something like that.

Malilla Gp Info Please
Ghostwalker replied to sjw ministerofport's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
the FAQ says that if you have a problem registering it might be because you email is already registered. If you are sure that you dont have registered before and using an alternate email doesnt help you should use the contact form to email them for help. -
i dont know, but i have just had a look at Lotsarnas website and there is no mentioning of any meeting at Ullevi. After reading their guestbook it seems that Lotsarna doesnt even have any riders and just borrows riders for their meetings. What i do know is that last year there was a practice session like a week, week and a half before the GP to which they had invited a few Swedish riders in purpose of testing the track.
-
Well i dont know. I think they are afraid that they cant fill up the track preparation pauses with anything so they start 30 min later then the gp and edit out the pauses.
-
i think that those shorts delays depends on how you receivw the signal. I have noticed for other events that webradio broadcast is usually some 30-60 seconds behind the tv broadcast (at least tv received via regular tv antenna).

Is Scotty Really Good Enough For The Sgp
Ghostwalker replied to geeze's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
i definitely thinks Scotty should be out next year. Rico might not me a Jason Crumpo but i think he would do better the Nicholls. -
at least sky sports shows it live from the start unlike other public tv broadcasters who stubbornly continues with its 30 min delayed broadcast. At least the commentators are on scene and can do interviews and etc...
-
no not that i know of. I have had a quick look and just gneral text reports from the gp. It might pop up something later but i dont think so.
-
maybe he included the starter?
-
well i would claim the opposite. if the starter hadnt cleared off the ref couldnt have tried to release the tape when AJ blasted through and i also think the starter was looking at AJ and wondered what was going on.
-
according to Swedish commentators Emil has just been at the doctor apparently some problem with his cheek bones.
-
yeah this ref is really weird allthough the ref claims technical error. but i dont know if it really was or if the ref screw up. *edit* i mean its easy to say afterwards that it was a technical error if he did screw up.
-
hey wow Greg does an interview in Swedish and he's really good at it! :D
-
i'm with wanna here, sure Nicki tried to lean on Walsek but Walesek wasnt any better when he tried to push Nicki out and just went straigh ahead right into Nicki. IMO all 4 back would have been the most appropiate for first bend incidents like these especially with the lack of consitency from the ref's.

the postoned meeting between Vargarna and Norrköping was held earlier tonight. Vargarna won with a crushing 58-38. Individual Scores: Vargarna: Adam Skornicki 12, Adam Shields 11, Adrian Miedzinski 10, Scott Nicholls 9, Joe Screen 7, Jonas Andersson 4, Kim Nilsson 3, Niklas Klingberg 2. Rospiggarna: Greg Hancock 15, Charlie Gjedde 9, Henrik Gustafsson 8, Maciej Janowski 3, Jonas Messing 2, Janusz Kolodziej. Spectators: 612.

Anders if may ask, Ikaros Smederna's presenter Zetters interviewed an Anders twice during the meeting was that you?
-
it will be shown only on Canal+'s webb-tv; http://www.csports.se/speedway.aspx but only if you live in any of the nordic countries. Klingberg is not confirmed. Its only confimred that Tai wont be able to ride but obviously its easier for Vargarna to use Klingberg then kennett.
-
forgot to mention that Vargarna-Rospiggarna got postponed until tonight because of track preparation mistakes. Vargarna had watered the track during the afternoon expecting it to dry up in time for the start. Unfortunately a few heavy rain showers hit the track later during the afternoon. This meant that the track became to soaked with water and despite attempts to grade it its was too waterlogged for speedway racing. A new attempt will be made this evening at 19.00 CEST. Tai Woffinden will most likely be replaced with Niklas Klingberg. Västervik didint have any schedule meeting this night due to the uneven number of teams (9).

unfortunately there have been a few accidents at tonigts meetings. In the meeting between Lejonen and Indianerna Holder and Simon Gustafsson had a crash and Simon was taken away by ambulance with a suspected broken collar bone. Holder managed to escape without serious injury and was able to ride his remaing heats. Lejonen without Nicki but with Adams eventually won with 53-43. Simon is expected to need about a month for heeling and recovery. Lejonen–Indianerna 53–43 Individual Scores: Lejonen: David Watt 14 points(6 heat), Leigh Adams 13 (5), David Ruud 10 (5), Chris Holder 10 (5), Piotr Swiderski 5 (5), Dennis Andersson 1 (2), Tomasz Jedrzejak 0 (3), Robert Pettersson 0 (1). Indianerna: Piotr Protasiewicz 16 (6), Grzegorz Walasek 9 (6), Rune Holta 8 (6), Leon Madsen 4 (3), Matej Ferjan 3 (3), Jesper B Monberg 2 (5), Simon Gustafsson 1 (2). Spectators: 2 693 Dackarna vs. Piraterna also ended 53-43 but the biggest loss for Piraterna was Robert Kosciecha's injuy. According to this news article he suffered a highside(?) (dont have a better word for it) and he fell and was hit by Rory Schlein. Robert was taken to hospital where the x-rays shown that the left wrist is broken and have to be operated. The fracture need about 8 weeks to heal properly. Dackarnas was over 10p behind after the first heats but managed to get back and win. Dackarna-Piraterna 53-43 Dackarna: Fredrik Lindgren 13, Hans Andersen 13, Andreas Jonsson 11, Peter Karlsson 6, Nikolai Klindt 6, Rory Schlein 2, Ludvig Lindgren 2 Piraterna: Daniel Nermark 11, Jonas Davidsson 10, Damian Balinski 9, Rafal Dobrucki 7, Antonio Lindbäck 4, Linus Sundström 2 Spectators: 4 510 The third meeting that actually was able to go on, although almost one hoyr delayed because of rain, was Ikaros Smederna vs. Elit Vetlanda were Smederna lead through the major part of the meeting but Vetlanda successfully managed to make some tactical Substitutes towards the end. Vetlanda won in the end with 50-46 after two 5-1s and one 4-2 in the last 4 heats. Mikael Max made the passing of the meeting when he in the 10th heat passed Crump, Jagus and Hampel in one sweep on the inside on the first find directly after start. Crump easily re-passed Max at the end of the starigh but Jagoda and Max managed to hold on to the 3-3. Crump was outstanding with a paid maximum . Hampel and Lee R found the speed at the end and both managed to score 12p. Peter Ljung didnt do especially well scoring only 1p. THJ well we all know what he is going through and its probably good for him to continue riding. Had a fall in heat 3 but it wasnt anything serious. THJ scored 2p. Both Troy Batchelor and Kasprzak were quite lost in this meeting and both need to improve especially from Kasper. Zorro was ok not more, not less. King was pretty good and started with 2+1, 3 and 2 but then finished with zero x2. Jagus was good as usual but failed to beat Crump in any heat although he was very close in heat 4. Micke Max continues to ride well the only minus was that he didnt manage to win heat 11 where he scored 2p and was beaten by Sebastian Aldén. Micke eneded on 12p. Linus Eklöf not much to say about him. Smederna-Vetlanda 46-50 Smederna: Mikael Max 12, Wieslav Jagus 11, Daniel King 7, Krzystof Kasprazak 6, Magnus Zetterström 5, Troy Batchelor 3, Linus Eklöf 2 Vetlanda: Jason Crump 16, Lee Richardson 12, Jaroslaw Hampel 12, Sebastian Aldén 7, Thomas H Jonasson 2, Peter Ljung 1 Spectactors: 1 886
