  3. the only one who is drunk is Y*u , Dekker the forum troll.
  4. excuse me but you do know he is injured following a horrifying crash in march where he severely injured his neck and that he very recently has undergone another surgery removing bone fragments from his injured neck? or are you just another forum troll?
  5. Charlie Gjedde is sacked from Rospiggarna. He will be replaced by Travis McGowan. http://www.norrteljetidning.se//sport/artiklar/id/8843
  6. why should he have done that? I might be wrong but Leigh Adams was still very competitive last season winning 2 GPs. The same goes for Gollob and Greg they are still competitive riders even if they maybe have declined a bit to this season.
  7. yeah that's why i said in the bends The formplyfa on the straights is to prevent riders from getting stuck in the fence with the handlebars. in the bends there are still the old net fence with air fence on the outside.
  8. i get your point and i agree on that FIM should supply the airfence for the tracks that dont have one yet when they have an FIM meeting. I also realize that there aren't that many tracks with airfences in Europe. But i still thinks tracks like Abensberg should not be allowed to have any racing until they change the wooden fence in the bends. In neither Sweden or Denmark(i think?) there are any promoters. Team is owned and run by themselves. And tracks is owned by the teams or the cities. Still teams managed to get airfences from last season to this season, with the help from the city/town in which they are based if they couldnt afford it themselves So if the smaller Swedish teams could manage im sure other tracks in Europe could manage as well?
  9. i agree with that and another big disadvantage with the one off final is much less exposure in media less publicity usually means less interest.
  10. about the track and track safety. I think the national Federations (as many as possible) but at least. in the 5 big Speedway nations should write a joint statement letter to FIM in which they declare that from now on they will not accept nor allow their riders juniors in particularly but also senior riders to ride an official FIM event on tracks without proper safety equipment. AND wooden fences like the one in Abensberg should be banned as soon as possible. I find it very remarkable that these types of tracks still exists in 2009. according to this article it says that there is a suggestion to implement airfence demands from 2012 but IMO that's 1-2 years too long. http://www.racemcsport.com/nyhet_spec.aspx...;Sport=speedway
  11. preliminary July 8th BUT that would be a violation of the rules that says a restaging have to be held within 3 weeks of the original date. In this case that would be no later then June 23rd.

  13. nope your way wrong in Sweden the rules say a meeting is only valid if half+1 heat is completed which means that a meeting must have completed heat 9 until the results become valid. Anyway from the meeting between Ikaros Smederna and Indianerna there arent much of intrest report. It was a very boring meeting from start to finish. The track was very awful, very slick and dry with little passing. But i guess Smederna didnt have much choice after last weeks delay and with the current weather. The only notable happening was that Mikael Max seems to be in better form then in man many years. 11p tonight including a heat win over Greg Hancock where max found a very fast line along the fence and siply blasted past Greg and Henka Gustafsson. :D Max also set a new track record but there might have something wrong with the timing so i am not sure that the new record of 57,2 seconds which is 1,1 seconds faster then Nickis track record of 58,3 is correct.
  14. well while i agree its not going happen. IMG/BSI makes too much money on these Gps. For IMG money is the only thing that counts. Why else do you think they extended the contract with Gothenburg/Ullevi? The track was awful but they had a bigger crowd then on the temporary tracks and because of this they made more money.
  15. well i don't speak Polish either BUT Rejestracja looks quite similar to register so i suggest that you click on Rejestracja then fill in username, email and password and repeat password.
  16. about Ikaros Smedernas team im starting to wonder why last years positive surprise Robert Miskowiak never gets the chance. he rode very well at Smedstadion last season and i think he would do better then Buczkowski who has been far from impressive.
  17. i think in the future all official FIM meetings, U21 team World Cup, U21/19 world/euro champs (including qualifiers) as well as qualifications to the GPs must be held on tracks with airfences. I dont know if this would have helped Petersen but atleast i mght prevent things like this in the future.
  18. looking at some photos of the track and it seems to have a static wooden fence all around or did they use airfence for this meeting?
  19. primarily a very sad day for HIM secondly a sad day for speedway in general and German speedway in particular. This is the last thing speedway needs, another paralysed rider who will be in a wheel chair the rest of his life. Its been too much of this the past few years with deaths and riers who have become paralyzed im just waiting for the anti-speedway mafia* to start yell "ban speedway!!!, ban speedway!!!". * in Sweden they are more commonly known as media.
  20. I dont how you even can suggest that he ran into Jagus on purpose. I was there at the GP (Eskilstuna 2 years ago) and Jagus went for a wider line while Nicki tried on the inside. after about 2/3 through the corner Nicki suddenly finds allot more grip then expected and as the front wheel lifts up Nicki is more or less a passenger. Also note that i say this despite that Jagoda is of my favourite riders since he rides for my favorite team in Sweden. Nicki has done some stupd things during his career but its very silly that people like you blame him for everything no matter if its his fault or not. If you remeber in Prague 5 weeks ago EMil ran into Nicki just after the start ib final and was granted a postion in the restart so Emil is no saint either. yeah i think so too. Emil have a reputation of being a bit wild sometimes so i dont think its a coincident that it was those two who were involved. we will probably see more of Nicki vs. Emil incidents.
  21. not that i know. But i think Hougaard and Klindt are track reserves.
  22. well i kinda doubt that. Sweden could have put this team on the track: 1. Tomas H Jonasson 2. Simon Gustafsson 3. Billy Forsberg 4. Ludvig Lindgren 5. Linus Eklöf but neither Simon Gustafsson or Billy Forsberg could participate due to injury and they are together with Jonasson our 3 best U21 riders. Unforunately for Billy this was his last chance of a U21 team title as he'll be 22 y.o. next year.
  23. Hello, there are already two threads about U21 TWC in the International section.
  24. the answer is simple. release the throttle a bit let Nicki pass and then try to go on Nickis inside. NO ONE forced Emil to stay on Nickis outside. Emil should have backed off earlier and realized that Nicki had passed him. I think referee decisions like this might take away riders intrest in trying to make a pass since if there is contact they will get excluded. Sure Nicki was only 95% ahead of Emi but the last 20-30 centimeters should not matter. A rider should realize that he is passed and should act accordingly to that. It would be different if they both were side by side but that was not he case here. Nicki was first into the corner and should be allowed to choose which line he want.
  25. yep! All of these links are different kind of streams encoded by a special protocols like. To be able to view most streams (except a few like http://* and mms://* *.aspx) you will need a third party software like sopcast, tvu. tvants and etc... sopcast is the most commonly used. i recommend you to read the beginners guide: http://www.myp2p.eu/guide.php?part=software well i've been using myp2p.eu for over a year and have never had any problems with viruses and etc..
