  1. Antonio Lindbäck have decided to stay with Piraterna.
  2. it was cancelled because of rain and it is quite likely that it wont be re-staged at all. http://www.rospiggarna.nu/index.php?module...id=&id=1607
  3. Well Tai has done a good first season in Sweden but to say that he beats top stars every time and that he have been among the topscorers in every meeting is a bit of an exaggeration. Tai have also benefited from riding as a reserve where he can take two rides from Vargarnas other reserve. He has done both very good meetings but also less good meetings. He has done very good in the playoffs though. I also would like to see him in the GPs but i would like to see him do a full season as heatleader or atleast second string before he steps into the GP. Points wise Rico, Harris and Nicholls all have scored more points then Tai Obviously Emil has performed exceptionally well, but he have experience from riding from a 1-5 position in both Sweden and Poland.

  6. Preview Swedish 2010 season Squads, transfers, rumours rule changes for the Swedish 2010 season each team are limited to 9 riders with an average that is 2.01 or higher. Swedish riders with an average of 2.00 (marked in blue) will not take up one of the 9 slots. One of the 1-7 positions HAVE TO be a Swedish u21 rider. Marked in Green (if average is 2.01 or higher) Swedish riders with an average that is lower then 6.00 can be "farmed" between partner teams and therefore these riders can be registered in the partner teams squad to allow "his" slot to be taken by a foreign rider. Next seasons fixed "season starting average" will be this seaons total score divided by heats times four. The old 18-formula system will still be used during the season to decided positions within a team (=determine reserves for each meeting) the "floating" average will still be updated after each meeting. No team will be demoted from Elitserien next season and from 2011 Elitserien will be a closed league with no promotions and demotions to/from allsvenskan. Teams can still be demoted if SVEMO considers that the team's economy is not good enough. A Swedish U21 rider is only allowed to be replaced once per meeting unless the replacing riders also is a Swedish U21 rider. From next season it is mandatory for Allsvenskan teams to have a minimum of one Swedish U23 rider in positions 1-7 at each meeting. There will not be any transfer windows during next season. There will still be one just prior to the seaons and the rules that allows teams to replace longterm injured riders will be changed. there will be a new playoff system and the "best looser" will not be a part of it. Elitserien will consist of a maximum of 9 teams despite that SVEMO earlier said that they wanted 10 teams. This could mean that one team will drop out Allsvenskan's Playoff will consist of all 6 teams. a minimum average cap will be re-instated for Allsvenskan. the old format league format with"double meetings" where teams meet the same opponent two weeks in a row will be used both in Elitserien and allsvenskan. the heat schedule will stay the same. Div 1 will be allowed to loan riders from any other team. riders will be allowed to use an unlimited amount of tires in Elitserien. the rule about punishment with wrong colours on the helmet hood will not be changed. no team will be demoted from Elitserien next season except for financial reasons. Other notes: Örnarna have qualified for Elitserien by reaching the final in allsvenskan playoffs but they have decided to stay in Allsvenskan because they cant find the funds needed for Elitserien. SVEMO have the option to ask Solkatterna who are not qualified but it is unclear if they can afford Elitserien and/or if they would approved since they already have had some problems with paying some of their riders. fixtures: Round 1- April 27 h Lejonen-Indianerna tv meeting Dackarna - Västervik Piraterna - Vargarna Rospiggarna - Elit Vetlanda Round 2 - May 4th Indianerna-Lejonen Västervik-Dackarna Vargarna-Piraterna tv meeting Elit Vetlanda-Rospiggarna Round 3 - May 11th Valsarna-Lejonen tv meeting Piraterna-Indianerna Dackarna-Elit Vetlanda Rospiggarna-Västervik Round 4 - May 18th Lejonen-Valsarna Indianerna-Piraterna Elit Vetlanda-Dackarna tv meeting Rospiggarna-Västervik Round 5 - May 25th Vargarna-Indianerna tv meeting Piraterna-Västervik Rospiggarna/Lejonen -Lejonen/Rospiggarna either this or next rounds meeting between these two are wrong. 7. But Is Zorro as good as those? Is other riders like PK, Max Screen as good as those just because they are the same age? 'Its different for different riders. I admit that Greg and Gollob and Adams (at least in the leagues for him) are still good but that doesant means all riders at their age is good too. or does it?
  8. No he should not give up because of his age itself but because of his standard which, i doubt at his age, will improve to next season. Especially since he plans/planned to ride in Three leagues next season. I would like to compare him with Adams who have riding in 2½ leagues this season and haven't done particularly well in the GPs this season. Or with PK who was still a pretty good league rider last season but who have dropped this year. Zorro also have a family and kids how many days/month will he be home to see his kids? when he will have a meeting almost everyday if he decides to go ahead with his plans to ride in Sweden, Poland and England. Its hard for all new riders to ride a full GP season. Usually it takes 2-3 seasons to really get established in the Gps and for a younger rider that is no problems because they have the time and will usually improve from one season to the next. But for someone who is 38 there is much speaking for improvements when they usually have passed zenith many years ago. I know he won the GP challenge but so did Ulamek and Walsek last year and how good have they been this season? The exception is Bjerre who have done very good at his first season. How many of the last years qualifiers have established themselves in the GPs? Bjerre and? ..Holta and Andersen qualified via GP challenge 2006 and managed top in 2007. Jagus, Ulamek, Walasek, Iversen, Bjarne P, Lukas Dryml all failed.
  9. SO you reckon that riders like Zorro, PK, Max... are just as good as Greg just because they are "the same" age as Greg who is still good?
  10. This is the GP series not some little veteran league for old boys go before they retire. Zorro is a nice guy and a good "team player", good to have in you team even if his scores isnt always that good. I think he was one of the reasons that my now folded team Smederna actually performed better then many expected and i liked that he was back where he belonged. But the GPs is no place for him or any other rider of the same standard/career position. He is already inconsistent in the leagues so how are he going manage a full season - Budgetwise, GP team wise and etc. I am pleased that we now might have 3 swedes in the GPs next season but not so pleased if Zorro's qualification means that Antonio wont get a WC. Zorro also intend to ride in all three leagues next season so he should realize his limits. he will hardly be a better rider next year or will he? Or perhaps we should kick all the young ones out and bring in more oldies like Hamill, Loram, Trick, Ermolenko, PK? That will surely increase the interest in the GPs. If you dont like younger riders in the Gps well too bad for you then but you dont have to watch.
  11. replace Zagar with and Iversen two of these three, Miedzinski, Grigory Laguta and Richardson. I also think it will be hard for Lindbäck to get a wc now when Zorro is in.
  12. well Antonio was in his way to qualify but Jonas Davidsson did something strange in the semi and let Zorro pass him in their final heat meaning Antonio got knocked out. Zorro was also seeded into the semi.
  13. too bad for EVS that you dont ride at Smedstadion coz that is a track that Misiek definitely rides well on
  14. are there something wrong with the other Gp cahllenge thread since people are posting here instead of in the other?
  15. zorro in the Gps what a f*****g joke he van hardly score more then 5-6p in Elitserien. Cant really understand why he bothers coz he will be next years Nicholls. Cant say im looking forward to another veteran in the GPS
  16. Richardson is the only brit that deserves A WC. The others are not good enough at the moment. But i do like that Hampel and Holder are in. They are two good riders. my WC pics would be: Anto9, Zagar, Richardsona and possible Andersen if the current top 8 will be the same after Bydgoszcz
  17. yeah i read that too there wasn't really many others too choose from with Svemo's silly rules. tbh i don't think he will be the saviour EVS fans was hoping for.
  18. updated the results posts with the missing scores and Valsarnas lineup for tomorrows return meeting in Allsvenskans playoff final. Örnarna won tonight's meeting with 53-43
  19. the first final between Örnarna and Valsarna is available at this link: http://www.speedway.nu/2009/reportNY.asp?AllsF.GF
  20. how about taking a look here: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/ind...showtopic=50588 ? in the thread that is just a few rows further down from this.
  21. he crashed in a meeting in Czech rep. broke his thigh bone. Vetlanda is chasing a new rider to replace Vaculik. no info yet on who he is. Also there will be NO live broadcast at Canal+ on Wednesday apparently Cnl+ chooses to show football instead.
  22. vargarna's success is not entirely thanks to good riders the riders but the very advantageous hometrack which is short and narrow and most of the visiting teams have a very hard time riding on their track. Vargarna also seems to have a a good portion of lucj on top of that with injured/anavilable riders in their opponents team. (Gollob Laguta last week, Vaculik and possible crump next week)
  23. no it dont. atleast not at the moment. WIth Vaculik out for 6 months and an injured Crump that might not be able to ride next week, Without those i do not think Vetlanda can match Vargarna. Especially not away in Norrköping.
  24. I think Hampel and Miedzinski will be top contenders as well.
