  1. this is how teams will partner for next season: http://www.aktuellspeedway.se/visa.php?sub...;ucat=0101&
  2. wasn't Hans Andersen given the WC for Målilla in 2006 at first but then when TRick pulled out Hans was in full time from Målilla and PK was the given the WC?
  3. Maciej Janowski follows his mentor Greg to Piraterna http://mvt.se/sport/1.622192-janowski-klar-for-piraterna
  4. well not THAT cold it can be quite warm during the day but later in th evening the temperature drops especially in Gbg where the sea is still very cold at that time of the year.
  5. info (in Swedish) http://www.piraterna.se/default.aspx?NodeId=1453 info (in google english) http://tinyurl.com/ye9lr3p
  6. Wrong again. I have nothing against Zorro, on the contrary he was a good asset for Smederna this season and i thought that it was good to have him back were he belonged. Even if he didnt score well in all the meetings i think he in a way kept the others going by being supportive in the pits. I am just not thrilled to see him or any other rider of his standard in the GPs no matter if they are via qualifying or by WC.
  7. Adams out and Darcy Wad+ Ryan Sullivan in for Lejonen? According to an article DW have said that he have told Lejonen that he wants to ride for them but that he have better offers from other teams. Leigh Adams have not decided if he will stay with Lejonen. If Leigh leaves Lejonen want to sign Ryan Sullivan. http://www.finnveden.nu/?option=com_conten...80&Itemid=2
  8. Swedish speedway teams have been worried about a new tax law regarding "artist" appearances in Sports. Because of this many teams are considering/preparing to incorporate. However according to a newspaper article a paragraf in the law says that artists/athletes that make occansional performances/appearances in Sweden, as well as while doing the same performances/appearances in their home country, the Swedish employer will not have to pay the extra tax since the artists/athletes should pay those in their home country. Elitserien newcomer Valsarna have made a deal with Solkatterna to be each others partner teams for next season. The two teams also have plans for creating a common 80cc and Div1 team. http://www.valsarna.nu/valsnytt/valsnytt_106.htm
  9. Nope. one of the 1-7 positions HAVE TO be a swedish u21 rider.
  10. Andreas Jonsson will stay with Dackarna: http://www.aftonbladet.se/sportbladet/moto...ticle6037466.ab
  11. i love tractors. Emil is better then Tai and more experienced as well. EK well he is way to mediocre to be in the GPs. Emil only Rides in Two leagues too (Poland& Russia) Some say that Tai/EK will get new big sponsors. So? its not all about machinery or having big budgets. EK has rode his meetings in Sweden at Kråkvilan which is a short and narrow "British style track" and despite that his score have been very low. Even a rider like Eric Andersson have better scores (22p/24 heats/5 meetings) in Elitserien. Tai has done very well in his first season in Elitserien, especially the second half but he has mostly ridden as a reserve soi think he should wait a year at least to get some more experience. IMO a rider needs to show some consistency scoring in at least two leagues from riding as nr 1-5 before they should be considered for a WC.
  12. FRom wehat i have read Ostrow is likely to be denied an "elite license" starting permit from the Polish Federation for next season. I dont know how likely it is or how serious these intentions are but in an article it said that they were thinking of starting a new team and then apply for the Swedish Elitserien.
  13. TNT those Swedish averages are old, the new official averages are available at: http://www.aktuellspeedway.se/091021Offici...nitt%202010.pdf going by those averages the top 15 would be: Jason Crump 10,02 Leigh Adams 9,38 Nicki Pedersen 8,95 Greg Hancock 8,76 Wieslaw Jagus 8,49 Andreas Jonsson 8,45 Piotr Protasiewicz 8,26 Jaroslaw Hampel 7,91 Bjarne Pedersen 7,83 Lee Richardson 7,72 Rune Holta 7,71 Adrian Miedzinski 7,60 Tomasz Gollob 7,43 Emil Sajfutdinov 7,25 Fredrik Lindgren 7,21 Averages for the other GP Riders: Kenneth Bjerre 6,76 Magnus Zetterström 4,24 Chris Holder 7,10 British riders: Lee Richardson 7,72 Tai Woffinden 6,63 Daniel King 5,95 Scott Nicholls 5,65 Edward Kennet 3,00
  14. Rospiggarna and Masarna/Gasarna have reached an agreement to partner for next season. http://www.norrteljetidning.se/sport/artiklar/id/11787
  15. IMO The Gothenburg GP is a bit too early in the year since it usually in early may still is quite cold.
  16. well you have to manually look up all Swedish statistics at either Speedway.nu or at: http://essupdate.elitspeedway.nu/ also sportowefakty have statistics but it doesnt seems to have been updated since august, http://www.sportowefakty.pl/img/stat/statelitserien2009.htm *edit* some statistics is available here: http://www.aktuellspeedway.se/sverige/start.php
  17. i found this article at Sportowefakty about Ostrow wants to be a "swedish" team? Can anyone of the polish speaking members nake a brief translation? http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2009/10/...b-w-elitserien/
  18. well henry the article claims that these are the 4 riders that will be awarded a WCs. DN is usually a reliable news paper but their sources in this case are Freddie LIndgren who said that a Torun boss told him that he and those other 3 will get the WCs. "-one of the bosses in Torun, who have got a GP next year, told me that i will be awared a WIld Card for next season. i aksed him if it was certain to a 100%. He said that it was certain to 400%." The article then says: "the other riders that will be awarded a WC are Hans Andersen, Danmark, Tai Woffinden och Edvard Kennet, England."
  19. http://www.dn.se/sport/wild-card-och-guld-...ndgren-1.982184 according to this article the 4 wcs have been awarded to Freddie Lindgren Hans A Tai a and Edward kennett. how the h**l can they award a mediocre rider like Kennett a permanent Wild Card?
  20. Masarna/Gasarna have signed the following riders: Eric Andersson Alexander Söderholm Simon Lindh-Åström David Nielsen Jimmy Börjesson Fredrik Andersson Anton Rosén Masarna are also negotiating with Maksim Bogdanovs, Artur Mroczka and a new unnamed rider.
  21. Greg have decided to ride for Piraterna next season: http://www.norrteljetidning.se/sport/artiklar/id/11698
  22. i dont know of any dates but maybe the thread below can give you an idea about when the SWC might take place. http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/ind...showtopic=50574
  23. Greg Hancock have decided to leave Rospiggarna after 15 seasons. Grerg says that he have several good offers and that Piraterna or Vargarna is the most likely new team at the moment. Dackarna are also interested in Greg. http://www.norrteljetidning.se/sport/artiklar/id/11676 Mikael Max will continue to ride for Lejonen next season. Although no contracts have been signed yet, Mikael and Lejonen have reached an agreement about the contract. http://www.sr.se/cgi-bin/jonkoping/nyheter...artikel=3186100
  24. f-s-p well i disagree with you about all your claims. Antonio have scored 148points from 15 meetings / 81 heats in Elitserien AL 2010 will be 7,31 (148/81*4) Lindgren have scored 127p from 14 meetings. / 70 heats. FL 2010 will be 7.26 (127/70*4) In Poland Lindgren is sligthly better with 107 points from 14 meetings/ 63 heats Antonio have 108p from 14 meetings and 73 heats. FL have made it to two finals from 11 attempts AL reached 1 final and 1 semifinal on hos two WC appearances and he was in the lead in GBG when the heat was stopped Freddie had several chances the past Saturday to take the points necessary to finish top 8 but he didnt take those chances and finished outside top 8. The GP qualifications well as said before JD gave Zorro a free point which meant that AL got knocked out and Zorro made it to the final. So the question is what you have been drinking if you say that AL haven't done anything. IMO its wrong to say that any of them is better then the other at the moment. I am not saying that AL should be picked over Fl just that BSI/IMG might consider it and unless you are a part of those who pick the 4 seed riders i dont see how you can say that its wrong?
