Daniel G "Only" third oh well atleast a former Smederna rider won it

Hammarby's team manager Fredrik Edberg have received a 10 month suspension for being verbal abusive against (threatening) a referee. The claimed incident happened in June during a meeting in div 1 between Ikaros Smederna and Nassjö at Smederna's track. Edberg denies that he threatened the referee but agrees that he was upset with him because he had fined two of Smedernas's riders because they were riding their bikes in he pit without the "dead man's switch" around the wrist. Henrik Karlsson and Alexander Edberg (son of Fredrik) both received a £175GBP fine each and Fredrik though that the fine was unnecessary high for a Div 1 rider. Fredrik also claims that several other riders also rode their bikes in the pits without the safety device. http://folket.se/spo...eedway/1.781136 This is the same Fredrik Edberg who last year were convicted in court for various economical crimes.

i agree with you, i think its the same kind of situation as it was with Adams. Also SVT play will show the GP challenge live on Saturday, however its only available in Sweden though.

it says on his website anyway Piraterna-Rospiggarna is cancelled because of rain.

I wonder if this will be the last we will see of Ullevi for a while... They're building a new multipupose stadium in Stockholm and it says on their website that speedway are one of the things they want to host in their new arena, although football will be the primary purpose. I doubt that he or Harris need to. Harris got a WC for his season and what impressive performance did he provide last season to earn it? I am pretty sure that at least 1 Brit will get himself a nomination. no matter if Harris manage to squeeze himself into top 8 (only 4p behind though)or not.

Its always hard to predict a race like this but i hope for a Swedish clean sweep (1-3) on the other hand Kolodziej would probably be a good addition to the GP series when you look at his performance in the leagues this season.

Aj is nr 1 started at 8.45 have improved to 8,54 scored 145p from 14 meetings = 10,36/meeting Jonas D is nr 2 started at 7,08 have improved to 7,35 scored 102p from 11 meetings = 9,27/meeting and Freddie is nr 3 started at. 7.21 improved to 7.29 scored 119p from 14 meetings = 8,5/meeting

Jacques, There is nothing wrong with the wild card system as a such, its how it is used that need to be changed. I agree about the wild cards when it comes to riders like Lindgren, Harris who year after year misses out on top 8. However i think that wild cards are still needed and Emil is a good example why since he finished top 3 last season but have gotten this season ruined by injuries. Its very hard to ride in the qualifiers if you have a broken leg or a broken wrist.

i think yellow had the fewest wins and the other 3 were quite even so a good job by the track staff there. well i dont think any of the Swedes deserves a wild card and not the Brits either. Emil will/should get one. Nicki P might get one, then i would give one to Koldziej dont know about the 4th one.

it is a very good crowd, however there was a free entrance for that meeting where the sponsors pays 1 Swedish kr/spectator to Lejonen to cover up for the lack of entrance fees,
