  1. Some good news regarding Valsarna. A private financier have paid their debts and reports are that it is also looking better when it comes to sponsors.
  2. ...so far it will be interesting to see what it will become of Daniel Gunnestad.
  3. surprise surprise Rospiggarna have signed Kim Nilsson. http://www.unt.se/sport/rospiggarna-forstarker-ytterligare-1082478.aspx
  4. hans was nominated as wild card for Målilla in 2006 but when TRICK pulled out Hans was promoted like you say. So theoretically he could be nominated for Målilla again but that is not going happen. I would predict that Jonas D will get the WC for Swedish GP in Gotheburg while THJ probably will be nominated for the Scandinavian GP in Målilla.
  5. discussion are also going on here and the thread at the German forum inspeed have been deleted.
  6. here are the list with all the averages for those riders who have been registered for a teams this season: http://www.svemo.se/ImageVault/Images/id_4466/scope_0/ImageVaultHandler.aspx
  7. If they would have picked Andersen instead of AJ there would have been two Danish WC picks and three danes in the GPs (and two swedes) which isn't more fair then giving on of the nominations to AJ. Regarding Kolodziej vs Hans. JK has been one of the worlds best rider the past season and imo its very hard to look past such a thing. So i say that the picks actually are 4 good picks.
  8. Masarna/gasarna have contracted the following riders for next season: Eric Andersson Pontus Aspgren Anton Rosén Fredrik Andersson Alexander Söderholm. Sebastian Aldén Andreas Westlund
  9. so andi you were saying? link: http://speedwaygp.com/en/newsdetail/a2077
  10. yes itssportowefakty that says that Monday's FIm conghress in Macao decided to give wild cards to EMil S, Nicki P, Janusz K and Andreas J. However as mentioned before by others in this thread, BSI/IMG still have the final say about the nominations so i would assume that its not 100% certain yet.
  11. Patrick Hougaard stays with Vetlanda http://www.elitvetlanda.nu/index.php?page=news&stage=1&id=1780
  12. Freddie says in an interview that he will ride in Rob W memorial and that he will stay in AUS. for vacation but he also says that he will return to Sweden in December to start plan the next season.
  13. edit found link: http://www.inspeed.d...1eb9b1cb0e5e4f6 one of the posters says that her father wrote on FB that cause of death was overdose such a tragedy R.I.P.
  14. true that the GPs are showed with an initial 1 hour delay on tv but it is also available at svtplay where it is shown live. I always choose the live stream at svtplay and i think many others do the same.
  15. Lee Richardson will leave Elit Vetlanda after seven seasons and he is negotiating with several teams. http://sverigesradio...artikel=4105577
  16. i think Ullevi will be replaced by the new Swedbank Arena in Stockholm for 2012. It has a bigger capacity then Ullevi but is of the same typ as Cardiff and Copenhagen.
  17. i dont know the reason for the new average system. about the second question. no as for now no tracks are endangered and there is actually a new track being built even though the 500cc track probably wont be finished until the 2012 season. Regarding the teams obviously teams like Valsarna, Solkatterna and Griparna are far from 100% safe and in a slightly longer perspective i think Lejonen and Piraterna have some serious work ahead of them to get things going in the right direction. Neither Solkatterna or Griparna have been granted the required license but from what i understand (wtothout knowing exactly) Griparna have manage to lower their debts. Spectator wise the attendances has decreased but that is the case for all major team sports in Sweden. All teams except Valsarna and Rospigagrna had an average of atleast 2100 attenders/meeting. The attendance average for all 9 teams combined are about 2600 attenders/meeting. Honestly i think Valsarna will have the same problems next season as this season since they hardly will be able to sign any better rider then they had and without any better riders the spectators will stay at home.
  18. henryw i agree with you that both Prague and Gothenburg are very fine cities but imo both tracks are awful.
  19. i agree with you dave. i also hope that 2011 is the last time we see Ullevi and Prague on the calendar.
  20. one could also ask why Hans A (and AJ and Nicki too) didn't ride in the qualifiers.
  21. here it is (hidden on page 3): http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=56861
  22. results Lejonen Masters: this meeting was run as a regular 16 heat meeting with an extra final heat with the 4 best scorers. Team future 48 1. Mikkel B Jensen (3,2,3,0,2) 10 2. Matthias Thörnblom (2',3,R,1',1) 7+2 3. Jacob Thorsell (2,2,2',2) 8+1 4. Joel Larsson (1',0,3,0,0) 4+1 5. Victor Palovaara (3,1,1,3,1') 8+1 6. Mikkel Michelsen (3,2',0,3) 8 7. Tim Gudmundsson (0,0,0,R) 0 Team select 54 1. Robin Törnqvist (1,1,2',0) 2. Henrik Karlsson (0,3,3,2) 8 3. Ricky Kling (3,3,3,2') 11+1 4. Olver Berntzon (0,2,1,3,3) 9 5. Jesper Kristiansen (1,1,2,1',3) 8+1 6. Rasmus Eklöf (1',1',1',1,0) 4+3 7. Jeremia Thelaus (2,0,N,2) 4 http://www.aktuellsp...id=37&liveid=37
  23. Rune Holta stays with Dackarna which probably means that there are no room for Hans and PK at Dackarna. AJ, Freddie and Holta will get 6,433 together which means the remaing 4 riders only can have a total 4,067.
  24. well if they want any form of credibility left they don't have any choice. Kolodziej has been one of the best riders in the world this season and despite him being a Polish rider there's no way that they can leave him out.
  25. Ryan Sullivan to Indianerna http://www.indianerna.nu/nyhet.php?id=2082 and regarding Indianerna neither Walasek and Madsen will not be offered new contracts.
