  1. well juding by the radars it looks like its raining in Norrköping.
  2. Afternoon showers are expected but hopefully they will collapse before the speedway starts.
  3. regarding next year, if i'm not way wrong, its more or less certain that it will be in Sweden but the question seems to be if it will be at Eskilstuna's track or at Vetlanda's track. Although I'm biased, Eskilstuna would be a much better choice due to several factors; its a better racetrack then the ultra slick gating competition that usually is at Vetlanda, Eskilstuna has better public transportation services with three International Airports within 2 hours by car. Then Eskilstuna has more to offer when it comes to accommodation, restaurants, pubs and etc... see this link http://live.speedway...84?district_id= and select topics that starts with "Allsvenskan: Ikaros Smederna" too what the racing is like.
  4. Poland on their own track seems to me like a likely winner, but i think its quite open for the other two podium places. I think it depends on how much dirt there there will be on the track and how many lines there will be. my prediction Poland Australia Sweden Denmark

  10. some pictures: http://imageshack.us/g/811/imag0118n.jpg/ Smederna attendance: 1687 people!!
  11. Solid performance from Smederna tonight, Gunnestad only scores 3+1 be to be honest he was robbed of a few points to to questionable restarts due to "uneven starts". And his riding looked promising not great perhaps but give him a few more meetings and i think he'll be alright., Henderson did a good meeting but he needs to learn to be more patient and stop try to ride over his capability. got some pics coming up, stay tuned... yes there is the postponed meeting between Örnarna and Griparna on Thursday next week.
  12. smederna just won heat 8 with 5-1. results at svemo.se click speedway.
  13. my "stream" is working perfectly. Smederna is controlling the meeting. a few good heats and a few passings. lovely weather and a good sized crowed. although it might not look like that since many are seated at the grand grandstand which is where the camera is positioned. and Tarabanko still plaus good rockclassics.
  14. follow Smederna at Twitter: http://twitter.com/#!/IkarosSmederna
  15. in Sweden i think all or at least many tracks are environmentally certified with strict rules on howto handle oil/methanol waste and etc, which also mean that the tracks are equipped in such way that no oil and etc will find its way into the ground or the surrounding area. regarding the preview the first pots aren't static as i always add more info as things develop.
  16. @alan & m-paul see this thread for links to the tracks in google maps: speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=58036 click tracknames for map link.
  17. i posted the links before its the official federation updatesite. The system is designed to offer both Swedish and English commentary but usually the updater only writes in Swedish.
  18. Okom were supposed to have ridden in heat 5 but was replaced by Aspgren. http://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Competition/Speedway/CompetitionLiveResult.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Datefilter=Today&pagesize=6&CompetitionId=220
  19. mp , i agree that Kim is a good rider, but kim+viktor vs. Pontus+okon = advantage Västervik in my opinion. Vargarna has a good chance absolutely but i think Västervik will win. Especially if Viktor is unable to continue.
  20. ah oh no, white is the cause, hope they are ok.
  21. no i'd say that Swedish fans in general won't do that. Obviously fans get disappointed by poor performances but not to the extent that they start to yell at the riders.
  22. live scores either here: http://www.svemo.se/Grenar/Speedway/ for stream se http://www.myp2p.eu/...955&part=sports or http://www.soccer-li...p?id=motorsport
  23. regarding Lejonen, David Ruud suffered a concussion during his meeting i Poland two days ago. Yesterday morning David said that he wouldn't be able to ride tonight, however according to Lejonens website David will be a part of tonight's team, but i don't think that we will se him ride that much. regarding the tv meeting between Väservik and Vargarna, Västervik is a good home team but Vargarna's form have improved lately however they're still weak at reserve and Västervik should be able to get a decent points advantage in the reserve fight while Vargarna normally is stronger at the mainbody positions. Personally i think that Västervik will win thanks to stronger reserves. Piraterna vs Elit Vetlanda is going to be a very interesting meeting. Like Vargarna, Vetlanda started the season poorly but now have two straight wins. Piraterna will continue to use R/R for Dobrucki which they have benefited allot from.
