well its not really a matter only of being good enough or not, have a bad day (like a flat tyre, or being crashed into by someone else and etc...) and you are out. It also have to do with the draw and if you're lucky/unlucky to get this or that track earlier in the qualifying stage and who you're opponents are. Some quarters/semi finals and etc have a stronger draw while other are weaker. And a rider that misses out from the stronger QF might still be better then those from the weaker semi or quarter or etc...

SVT webbroadcast will be available for everyone regardless of where you live. So tune in SVT play: http://svtplay.se/ on Saturday at 17.30 Swedish time (it will be broadcasted with a slight delay). I think THJ would do very good against these if he would be in, as it is his Swedish hometrack. I also still think that it should be more the 1 final round. Maybe 2 or 3 on different kinds of tracks, since this year those who can gate will be very favoured and in the same was at racers ahave an disadvantage as its very difficult to pass on this track.

according to sportowefakty.pl, Janusz Kolodziej's Polish team have stopped him from riding for Vetlanda tomorrow. This is supposed to be due to Janusz poor performance yesterday,

sorry my dates above is not entirely correct. It seems that this week is a backup week to be used if any of the last two rounds had been postponed. The first round of the semi finals are not until Thursday next week so no meetings this week. i think that its not a big deal for Indianerna to have Anto9 as nr 4 since they now got Iversen on reserve. The meeting is also interesting since its a potential (semi) final pairing. imo indianernas reserves will win thee meeting for indianerna.

it seems that that the semi-final pairings have been decided. Örnarna chose Rospiggarna which means that Smederna and Masarna will meet in the other semi-final. dates: Semi final 1:1 Rospiggarna-Örnarna, Thursday August 25th Semi final 1:2 Örnarna-Rospiggarna, Thursday September 1st Semi final 2:1 Smederna-Masarna, Thursday August 25th Semi final 2:2 Masarna-Smederna, Thursday September 1st Final 1:1 Thursday September 8th Final 1:2 Friday September 9th starting time should be 19.00 . (at the earliest for all meetings) which is 6pm UK time or 8pm Eastern Europe time. Parade is usually 15 minutes before starting time. i don't know about a stream but the meeting will be televised by SVT, although with an annoying 30 min delay.
