Elitserien Semifinals leg 2 Indianerna - Hammarby Indianerna (52) Antonio Lindbäck Niels-Kristian Iversen Piotr Protasiewicz Henrik Gustafsson Joonas Kylmäkorpi Simon Gustafsson Bjarne Pedersen Hammarby (38) Grzegorz Walasek Rory Schlein Tomasz Gollob Andrej Karpov Magnus Zetterström Freddy Grodlund Renat Gafurov Indianerna took a truly crushing victory a week ago when they defeated.Hammarby with 14 points. Hammarby had the grip until the interval after 10 heats. Although Indianerna is missing Ryan Sullivan, who i think is having a meeting in Russia, they shouldn't have any problems with advancing to the final. Judging by the past weekends activity in Målilla both Antonio and Simon showed good form. Regarding Hammarby's team, Gafurov, Schlein, Walasek and Zetterström are all former Indianerna riders. Possibly Grodlund as well. Piraterna - Elit Vetlanda #tv-meeting# Canal+ sport 2 and Tv4 sport. 19.00 Swedish time. Piraterna Greg Hancock ??? Linus Sundström Jonas Davidsson Przemyslaw Pawlicki Maciej Janowski Piotr Pawlicki Daniel Davidsson Elit Vetlanda Thomas H Jonasson Patrick Hougaard Jaroslaw Hampel Peter Karlsson Jason Crump Christian Agö Damian Balinski This is going to a very tough meeting for both teams. For Piraterna its still not certain whether Greg is fir to ride or not. I think Piraterna will need him if they are going to win with more then 10p. Vetlanda is missing Jacob Thorssell who will be out for 6-8 weeks due to injuries. Personally i think that Vetlanda will go through. But i hope that Piraterna will win coz i really would like to se Indianerna vs. Piraterna in the final.

that is a quite likely scenario. Smederna will only be asked if both Rospiggarna and the demotion series looser turns the offer down. -
Apparently Canal+ Extra 3 will show the final live at 16.00 Swedish time, and sorry Alan even if i had a tv-card i couldn't stream it since i don't have a C+ subscription.

the final starts at 16.00 Swedish time. you are correct in your assumption that the tv broadcast is a delayed ("re-live") version.

THJ took a decision after Tuesday's meeting that he would take a few days rest. So that he would be fit for Saturday's Individual Swedish Championship, it is. -

he is a Rospigg from the start but he has been riding a few years for Dackarna/Luxo now. He still lives in Hallstavik some 10 minutes or so from the track. And of course he has an affection for them and as i said. He probably don't earn particular much from the racing itself. But merely considers it as a nice gesture for the team and the fans. The he gets some good practice from it as well. so IMO its a win win situation. Greg Hancock doesn't live that far away either. -

not that much i would say. (much?) less then what he would earn in England i'd say. However riding for Rospiggarna saves him the trouble of going back and forward between Sweden and England. I think racing Tuesday -Thursday- Sunday every other week plus Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday-Sunday the other weeks suits him well since it will give him time for his family as well. -

a correction Alan, only the biggest kids are allowed to use the 80cc bikes. he younger kids uses mikrospeedwaybikes (or rather mikro sized MX bikes) as they are very slow and very easy to handle. IMO the lack of mikrospeedway and 80cc speedway is why British speedway is where it is. When the kids gets old enough to try speedway, they've already interested themselves in other sports/things. -

before the season started.some teams were sceptical about the streaming as they feared that it would cause people to stay home instead of attend the tracks. Guess what they were WONG. Spectator sizes have been impressive and way above expectations. the top note is Smederna vs Masarna when over 3200 people watched it at the track. Since 2006, Smederna have only had 3 meetings with attendances over 3000. -

well thats what everyone thought Masarna would do aswel but we do know how that story ended? (two injured riders a win for Smederna), edit its impossible without Gunny though, who have been replaced by Rasmus Broberg. http://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Competition/Speedway/CompetitionLiveResult.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Datefilter=Today&pagesize=6&CompetitionId=381 -

it has rained some the last few days but its supposed to be a quite sunny but windy evening. No rain is expected. -
Dackarna may run into serious problems. Except for poor form on most of the riders resulting in a 14p loss against Valsarna. Dackarna's Rune Holta is considering to give up this season due to his injuries. He says that the pain is to big and that he cant ride using technique that he is used to. The Doctors have told him that he will be fine but that he needs surgery and plenty of time to let it heal. For Dackarna this mean that they have to find a replacement since they already have Pavlic injured. Although transfer windows have been scrapped, team are allowed to replace a longterm injured rider until that rider resumes his or hers competing. http://www.racemcsport.com/holta-kan-tvingas-avsta-resten-av-sasongen
