It depends from which country the riders comes from and in what league he rides in, in his/hers home country (home league). For Swedish Elitserien average the following applies: If the riders home league is Extralliga (Polish riders) or Elit league (British, Australian and NZ rider) they will get the same average as they have in their home league. If the riders home league is Polish Liga 1, Danish Superleague or Czech Extraliga the riders will get the average from their home league multiplied with 0,7. If the home league is British Premier League the rider will have their home league averages*0,6 For Polish Liga II, German Bundesliga, Czech div. 1, Russian first league, Ukrainian league its their home league average*0,5 For all other leagues its home league average*0,4. However the initial starting average for non-Swedish riders, can never be lower then 1,250 (5.00), For Allsvenskan and Swedish Div1 the averages will be recalculated with the standard formulas. These formulas are: Current average divided by 0,75 + 0,667 for conversion to nearest lower series (like from Elitserien to AS or from AS to Div1). Valsarna have signed Robert Kosciecha while Smederna after some discussion and negotiation decided not to sign David Ruud. Imo Smederna did the right thing since it would be very unfair to kick one of the younger riders out just before the season starts.

There where supposed to have been an Allsvenskan pair meeting in early May. However since Örnarna have declined participation and since Gnistorna haven't even replied, it seems that the pair meeting have to be scrapped. Dackarna says that they will bring in one more rider when the transfer windows opens (April 16th–24th). No name have been mentioned but rumours are that its Bjarne P and Tai W that they are interested in. Personally i would also replace Gbg with Stockholm, however i think Ullevi stll have a few years remaining on their contract. since its SPGP is more about money then quality of racing, i wouldn't be too surprised if they moved Målilla to Stockholm.

Article about the the new track that is being built just outside Visby, at Hejdeby on Gotland. The aim/hope is to have the 80cc track ready for the summer and with this be able to keep the club alive. The space that Bysarna's old track called Galgberget (Swedish equivalent of Gallows Hill) was built on, was "needed" for a new residential area ( if i remeber. Currently Bysarna cannot afford to build a new 500cc track as well since its costs an additional 800'000 to 1'000'000 GBP. Posa won his 22nd Swedish championship about a half an hour ago. Robert Henderson led the b-final fro 3,75 laps before falling halfway through the final bend. P.A. Lindström pushed Posa for three laps until. PAL fell. Patrik Sohlberg had a fall in the b-final and he was brought to hospital with a suspected leg injury. 2012-03-02 Update: Due to that Lejonen have been thrown out from Allsvenskan due to financial issues the schedule for this years Allsvenskan will have to be re-worked. Therefore the dates are no longer valid. New dates will be released within a few days.
