Who will replace Thörnblom?

the meeting between Hammarby and Vargarna (which was postponed due to Lee's death) will be held on Monday. Unfortunately for Vargarna many of their riders are occupied with racing in England and they will have a big problem with getting a full team that reaches up to the average floor.

It turned out that that it departed from Sporthallen and not from the Theatre as the info initially said, Oh well who cares really. Don't fancy sitting out there and watch the tractors do lap after lap for hours.

Weather isn't really either today. It started raining while i walked home from work. Forecasts says rain until around 18.00. If that is the case Smedernas track staff will manage to get the track on order. About the stream, Pandorum, i think they had lots of viewers last season so they thought if they started to charge for the streams they would make allot of money (same with the increased entrance fee). During the current NHL season i've subscribed to NHL gamecenter live. I paid around 150 dollar for the entire season which means that i have been able to watch every single game (including the NHL Winterclassic). Whenever i like. Most of the games are also broadcast in 720p HD. For the same money i could also buy 22 Allsvenskan games. (22x50kr=1100kr or 18 (18x59kr=1069kr) Elitserien streams at Canal+. Allsvenskan teams still thinks its "Cheap" well think again. However if people don't want to pay for it they won't make any money and with the entrance fees, they will only make more money if the spectator sizes is the same síze as with the previous season. If 1000 people show up with a 120kr entrance fee, and 1200 shows up with a 100kr entrance fee. The latter will generate more money since it will be additional 200 people that will buy hot dogs, coffee, hamburgers, parking fee.... This is the same scenario as when Smederna went bankrupt, Tickets prices increased and spectators sizes decreased. Which meant that Smederna had to let their best riders go which meant even less spectators.

Smederna have been racing against Örnarna again tonight. This time the riders seems to be able to manage without a clock. WIth 1 heat remaining its 42-42 after, judging by the updates, a great performance from Oliver "Vispen" Berntzon. Ht 15 will be Balinski (8) and Karpov (10) for Örnarna and two of Zorro (9), Oliver (9) and Kenni (8) for Smederna. Still no flow for Wozniak, only 2p from 4 heats. Smederna update, 18-18 after heat 6, unfortunately Örnarnas Daniel Pytel had a fall and is suspected to have 'broken his wrist and a thumb. Anyway regarding the Danish meeting, the commentators really liked heat 14. Good class speedway and they also said that Mikkel B Jensen really sold himself very expensively.

Yeah, i intended to be already at the start of the meeting but my internet was down. Although i could use usb-tethering so i could at least surf around.

Both. Tomorrow is the postponed first round meeting away vs Örnarna, and on Thursday they will race at home vs Gnistorna. Masarna also have meetings two days in a row.

yes i know, so is Smederna's meeting since its a new attempt to hold the premier round.

I will try to follow the Danish stream aswell as the live updates from Smederna's meeting vs Örnarna. Next weeks meetings: Round 6 (June 5th) Indianerna - Dackarna Västervik - Hammarby Valsarna - Vargarna Elit Vetlanda - Piraterna i would guess that Vetlanda vs Piraterna will be the tv meeting.

Congratulations do Dackarna. They had an ever team where everyone scored while Vetlanda had some problems where Crump and THJ did not take enough points.

Västervik have won and we've got a last heat decider in Målilla.

Västervik have 38-28 after a 4-2 in heat 11.

Hammarby goes 5-1 in ht 12 and now holds a 6p lead. you know that is just 5kr ($0.7) less then i Pay for Canal+ Elitserien streams. And the difference is HUGE about what you get for the money). Hammarby will win against Valsarna. Another 5-1 in the making. Indianerna update; Thörnblom seems to have lost several teeths and have been brought to hospital. Simon seems to be more or less ok.

Simon Gustafsson and Mathias Thörnblom (both Indianerna) kinda hooked up during heat 11 and both crashed. Both riders are moving but are still lying on the track. Ambulance on track to attend them.

Chris Harris have another of his great evenings. Started with a EF and followed it up with a 0. Daniel King though have 2 and 3 from his first two heats.

Västervik have 20-10 after 5 heats. Vaculik is excluded.

AJ not happy with the track. He says that its the worst he have ridden on this season allot of holes and both grippy and slick sections.

Joel Larsson have to go. But referee disagrees. Västervik continues to storm on. 10-2 after two heats. Extra grading pause after heat 2.

Great start by Vetlanda. in the other meetings, Västervik also started with a 5-1 vs. Indianerna.

i haven't seen any meeting from Vetlanda this season and as far I can understand they have put new material on their track. So perhaps it have improved the racing quality. Vetlanda's arena as a whole are top standard though.
