  1. It will be interesting to see the re-match between Nicki and Laguta. Laguta won all the heats when they met in the meeting between Smederna and Vargarna earlier this week.
  2. The U21 qualification event were supposed to have been held yesterday at Nässjö however it had to be abandoned after 8 heats due to track problems. New date and venue is today July 28th at the Vetlanda track. http://www.svemo.se/sv/Grenar/Speedway/Nyheter/JSM-kvaletflyttat/
  3. Nah you were just lucky. No rain where I live, plenty of sun though and very warm.

  5. Smederna have signed Latvian rider Kjastas Poudzuks as temporary replacement for Kenni Larsen until Kenni is back from his injury. Smederna says that they decided to sign him after his performance in the SWC and after talking with Grigorij Laguta. http://www.smederna.nu/?page=news&newsid=2743
  6. Thanks, It seems that Grigorij will miss at least one more meeting of the three series meetings that are reaming. Then if Smederna makes the playoffs he might miss a few more.
  7. How many more meetings does Vladivostok have and when/where are they?
  8. The for a number of year unused track Hagalund near Lindesberg, home of Lindarna, have been re-approved for use by Svemo. The approval means that the track is approved for practice but not for any competitive racing. There are a few tracks of similar status in Sweden, to my knowledge, there are at least two other tracks that I know of with the same status, one in Östersund and one in Örebro. http://www.lagsidan.se/lindarna/nyhet-359495-1-speedwaybanan~godkaend.html
  9. Laguta was super impressive tonight 18p of 18 possible. Unfortunately the rest of the team was not so impressive, PK and Eklöf was Ok but the rest was not. Especially not Zorro with only 1p from 4 heats.
  10. Friends Arena in Stockholm have a contract for 2013-2017.

  12. I haven't followed British that thoroughly lately but wasn't there another stadium new stadium that just had been completed?
  13. I wouldn't say that, gate 2 and 3 were far better then gate 1 and 4.
  14. And on top of that the track is just as abysmal as a Prague. No dirt whatsoever. Distance wise 2 hours aint that bad, its not worse then Sweden where most tracks are more then 2 hours away from the major airports.
  15. Why keep the joker? Do you actully want to see riders, retiring/avoid to pass on purpose just so that they can use the joker for double points? Sure the leading team can do the same to prevent the use of joker but I don't want to see several riders per heat doing their best to try and avoid scoring any points in the heat. I want to see riders doing their best ro win.
  16. Of those suggestions nr 1 is by far the most appealing. Best teams should win and you don't get that unless you remove the joker and tactical substitute. Its a team competition between 4 men teams not 1 men teams. Also team should always do their best to win the heats, not get intentionally efs which will be the case with joker and ts available.
  17. Highly unlikely but I would love to see the RO and Final at Kumla. Quite a large track but usually provides very good racing. They should also remove the seeding of the host to the final and while they're at it, remove the joker and the tactical sub.
  18. Its Okoniewski who will have to leave the team. There has also been some other moves, Pontus Apsgren have left Masarna for Griparna and Masarna have brought in Hougaard as a replacement for Aspgren. http://www.masarna.nu/nyheter.cgi?id=24534
  19. Swedish TV10 will show it live at 15.00 but I don't know if you can see it.
