I've emailed both Tony Olsson (Svemo) and Cmore. Tony replied that he didn't know and that the rights were owned by a different company. C-more haven't replied yet. I would guess that Svemo sold the rights to company X who then re-sells the rights for the international market to any company that is interested, So I think that we'll just have to wait and see.

I guess this also depends on how the rights agreement is set up, Perhaps some original rights holder might have it put into the contract that the buyer needs to broadcast a certain amount of meetings for the agreement to be valid.

Have any of you actually asked Eurosport about the matter?

It has been announced today that Hammarby will be allowed to stay in Allsvenskan, however this is not unconditional. Swedish Individual Championship will be held at Svanstabanan in Nyköping at September 5th-6th. Daniel Henderson takes the last remaining position among the Elitserien teams, as a guest rider for Smederna. This means that the young very talented rider Mattias Thörnblom will be without an Elitserien team position for next year.

How do you know that they tell you the truth? It's hardly something they would admit is it?

I know this is what they tell you but honestly I don't believe them because BSI are the promoter of the GP series and it lies within the interest which riders that are in "their" GP-series. Although it might be FIM that runs the qualification officially I am pretty sure that BSI have some influence on the matter.

actually i have gotten the impression that Zagar's withdrawal came several days earlier then Thursday but that it was not announced until the last minute.

I emailed Tony Olsson, who is the highest person in charge in Swedish speedway, but he couldn't give my any info at all about the Div1 and Elit-B fixtures. The only info he could give me was that they will release the fixtures as soon as they have been finalized.

But HE DIDN'T!!!!!! He was given another freebie nomination. This time it was ahead of 20-30 other riders who were ahead of him on the list of qualified reserves for the Grand Prix Challenge. Riders that weren't even asked if they wanted to take their rightful place in the Grand Prix Challenge. So in what way have Chris Harris qualified by right?
