  1. What are the pricing like in GB for kids/teens? My team charges £17 for adults (£15 for pre-purchase), £13 for students (ages 17-19) and people aged 65+ although Id is required to get discount. youngsters aged 12-16 pays £5 and kids younger then 12 enter for free. Our meetings also starts half an hour earlier then yours and we also have speedway schools for kids which also attracts them to the regular meetings.
  2. Preview Elitserien round 10: Västervik- Dackarna live on Eurosport 2, 18.00 BST / 19.00 CEST race card: http://www.mediafire.com/view/b0duosbrbherbp7/ES.2014.R10.VästervikDackarna.pdf Västervik- Dackarna Västervik (42) Krzystof Kasprzak Tomasz Jedrzejak Przemyslaw Pawlicki Hans Andersen Peter Ljung Ludvig Lindgren Mathias Thörnblom Dackarna (48) Patryk Dudek Joonas Kylmäkorpi Nicki Pedersen (K) Dennis Andersen Alexandr Loktaev Michael Jepsen Jensen Robin Aspegren The battle of the bottom. Before the season both teams were expected to be fighting at the top of the standings but both teams have really underperformed this season. Västervik have decided to leave their best rider Troy Batchelor outside the team this week. For Västervik it is the same situation as last week. They HAVE TO win to avoid last place in the standings. Västervik lost the first meeting between these two teams with 42-48 so they need to win with 9p or more to get the aggregated bonus point. Dackarna have Loktaev back in the team. Loktaev returns from injury so his status is a bit unknown but he rode superbly before his injury. Västervik's weakness is positions 5-7 and those three riders have not really been good so far this year. Vargarna- Rospiggarna Vargarna (38) Martin Vaculik Jason Doyle Peter Kildemand Pontus Aspgren Adrian Miedzinski Billy Forsberg Ricky Kling Rospiggarna (52) Andreas Jonsson Jonas Davidsson Mads Korneliussen Andzejs Lebedevs Kim Nilsson Chris Harris Timo Lahti Two of the biggest surprises in this year's Elitserien, both Vargarna and Rospiggarna were together with Smederna expected to fighting each other to avoid relegation. However both Vargarna and Rospiggarna have been doing very good so far so this meeting will be extra interesting and would have been my choice for tv-meeting. Rospiggarna should be able to at least bring home the bonus point but I think it will be super close regarding the win of the meeting. The question for Vargarna is how Miedzinski is feeling after his crash in the SEC at Güstrow. Both Vargarna's and Rospiggarna's tracks are quite similar, short, tight and technical so Rospiggarna's riders should be able to handle the track well. I say slight advantage to Rospiggarna due a more balanced team with Vargarna having a more top heavy team with Vaculik, Doyle, Kildemand and Miedzinski. Elit Vetlanda - Indianerna Elit Vetlanda (42) Tai Woffinden Emil Sayfutdinov Jaroslaw Hampel Tomas H Jonasson Janusz Kolodziej Jacob Thorssell Magnus Karlsson Indianerna (48) Fredrik Lindgren (K) Kenneth Bjerre Piotr Protasiewicz Mikael Max Niels-Kristian Iversen Joel Andersson Antonio Lindbäck There isn't really that much to say about this meeting. Vetlanda are super hard to beat at their home track since gating is everything on this track. Indianerna have a very good team as well and have (with last week as an exception) done very good lately but I still think that Vetlanda should be able to win without too much problem although Indianerna have a descent chance to grab the bonus point.
  3. According to an article published by racemagazine.se, Tony Olsson have decided to step down as a race director for the SGP-series, despite that he have two years remaining on his contract. Tony says that he no longer have the same glow for it and that someone who hasn't shouldn't have such position. The decision was taken already before this season due to the 6 month notice required by his contract with FIM. He also says that the riders were informed at the Danish GP in Copenhagen, about his decision to step down. www.racemagazine.se/speedway/tony-olsson-slutar-som-race-director
  4. Ok, was it a good meeting? IIRC you live in Motala?
  5. We (almost) have it like that in Eskilstuna at Smedstadion as well. The line is very early on the straight. Very nice pass by Kolodziej. another great heat with good racing and JD win.
  6. Yeah I agree, it is artificial competitiveness and it is the same with tactical substitute, only the trailing team can use it.
  7. Piraterna website is down and the other sites rely on it for scores. However scores so far is: Polen 28 Finland 2 Sverige 23 Ryssland 22 After 16 heats: Poland 38 Finland 3 Sweden 31 Russia 27 Piraterna website is back up. Final Scores: POLAND (Red) 44 1. Bartosz Zmarzlik 2,3,2,3,2 = 12 2. Kacper Gomolski 3,1,1,3,1 = 9 3. Szymon Wozniak 2,3,3,1,3 = 12 4. Piotr Pawlicki 3,2,3,3,FX = 11 FINLAND (Blue) 4 1. Mika Loppi 0,0,0,1,1 = 2 2. Jiri Nieminen 0,0,0,0,0 = 0 3.Jooa Partanen 0,0,0,FX,0 = 0 4. Nike Lunna 1,1,0,0,TT = 2 SWEDEN (White) 38 1. Jacob Thorssell 2,3,2,4,2,2 = 15 2. Victor Palovaara 1,2,1,2,- = 6 3. Fredrik Engman 1,0,-,1,1 = 3 4. Oliver Berntzon 2,2,3,3,2,2 = 14 RUSSIA (Yellow) 37 1. Aleksandr Loktaev 3,3,2,2,TT,3 = 13 2. Ilya Chalov 1,2,1,1,1 =6 3. Victor Kulakov 0,1,-,2,- = 3 4. Vadim Tarasenko 3,1,3,2,3,3 =15 This means that Sweden and Poland have qualified for the final from this semi final. Very impressive scored by Berntzon and Thorssell, Engman's scores are too low when you have in mind that he has Motala as his hometrack in Swedish Elitserien.
  8. see this thread: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=77020
  9. One of the semi finals is held in Motala this afternoon. Live scores available here in Swedish and English : http://www.piraterna.se/default.aspx?NodeId=1453 Lineups: POLAND (Red) 1. Bartosz Zmarzlik 2. Kacper Gomolski 3. Szymon Wozniak 4. Piotr Pawlicki FINLAND (Blue) 1. Mika Loppi 2. Jiri Nieminen 3.Jooa Partanen 4. Nike Lunna SWEDEN (White) 1. Jacob Thorssell 2. Victor Palovaara 3. Fredrik Engman 4. Oliver Berntzon RUSSIA (Yellow) 1. Aleksandr Loktaev 2. Ilya Chalov 3. Victor Kulakov 4. Vadim Tarasenko
  10. Piraterna and Västervik have failed to agree on a new date for the postponed meeting, This means that Svemo will have to decide a date for them. https://twitter.com/killkenny_/status/485064462001795072
  11. Nice pass again by Artem. Fjelsted wins meeting by Esbjerg gets the aggregated bonus point.
  12. It seems you caught the underlined decease again. Rene Bach tactical substitute in heat 11. Kildemand out? But apparently that is not the case.
  13. Laguta is said to be away for 6-8 weeks (counting from the surgery I guess) which would be early to mid August sometime. Re Kulakow no more transfers allowed this season. And speaking of Laguta, that was a superb pass by Artem.
  14. I don't know. First It looked like Rene Bach pushed him off but the re-runs don't give us a good view.
  15. Esbjerg team manager says that they have not lost any of the 7 times last season and the 3 times this year that they have used Artem Laguta instead if NKI.
  16. as I have said before Grogorij and Artem have not been approved before butI don't know why they are not approved, See these posts/articles: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=64549 http://speedwaygp.com/news/article/459/czechmate-for-russians
  17. If you look at someone like Jarek Hampel or Niels-Kristian Iversen for many seasons they were just struggling in the SGP but then both were out of the GP for a few years and then came back stronger then ever. I also think we will see the same for Emil. It's no rush he still has around 20 years or so of his career in front of him (if you use Greg H as measure).
  18. Grigorij Laguta is injured but neither he or his brother would have been approved for a UK visa anyway for KL semi.final.
  19. I have read that the Danish league have almost doubled their attendance the past 5 years. From about 950 in -09 to about 1650 this season. Also it seems that the system with A,B,C and D riders categories are a bit unpopular by some teams.
