  1. It actually says here http://speedway-league.com/ that Kenni will ride on Friday.
  2. Rospiggarna are planning on replacing Walasek due to his injury and surgery. http://norrteljetidning.se/sport/1.2585285-rospiggarna-nara-ersattare-till-walasek No names are mentioned but the new rider cannot have a season entry average that is higher then Walaseks floating average which is 1.559.
  3. Janek Konikiewicz confirmed that Kenni Larsen will ride on Saturday. Kenni have had problems with a concussion following a crash for almost two weeks ago.
  4. I've promised Iwan to do a more thorough explanation of the Swedish R/R rule, so here it is: We can use Smederna as an example: I've listed a team that goes in under the average cap and sorted them after their floating average: Pawel Przedpelski 1.900 Grigory Laguta 1.870 Kenni Larsen 1.711 Peter Karlsson 1.528 Grzegorz Zengota 1.449 Oliver Berntzon 1.420 Magnus Zetterström 1.180 The R/R rules says that you can use R/R for a rider that has one of the 5 highest averages* in the lineup. The rule also says that the rider with the closest higher average and all riders with a lower average then the rider which R/R is used for can replace the said rider. If we look at the team above this means that R/R for nr 1 and 2 means that all riders can do a R/R heat, R/R for number three means that only rider 2,4-7 can be used and etc. For rider nr 5 there are only three riders available for R/R heats but this is solved by allowing one of the reserves to do two R/R heats. *Just like when it comes to determine which riders that rides at reserve, floating average is used to determine which five riders that R/R is eligible for and which riders that can do the R/R heats.
  5. The attendance for yesterday's tv meeting was a nice 3759 people.
  6. Next weeks tv-meeting is Rospiggarna - Piraterna. It will be shown live on Eurosport 2 from 18.00 BST/19.00 CEST / 20.00 EEST.
  7. Well that would be the most appropriate choice. Lebedevs is great talent and I think if he can peak his form, I think he will be able to stir it up pretty good.
  8. Tonight's result means that Västervik will finish last and will be demoted to Allsvenskan unless the winner of Allsvenskan's promotion cup declines to advance to Elitserien. Indianerna, Vargarna, Smederna and Dackarna are all involved in the battle for the 4th-6th place which means play offs. current standings: 4. Indianerna 568 - 511 15p 5. Dackarna 507 - 568 13p 6. Smederna 521 - 557 12p 7. Vargarna 526 - 550 11p If we then look at the remaining meetings and try to predict results I think we might see some thing like this: Round 13: Vargarna - Västervik Vargarna win and bonus Vargarna 14p Indianerna - Ikaros Smederna Indianerna win and Bonus Indianerna 18p Smederna 12p Dackarna - Elit Vetlanda Elit Vetlanda win and bonus Dackarna 13p Round 14: Dackarna Rospiggarna Dackarna win and bonus Dackarna 16p Piraterna Indianerna Piraterna win Indianerna bonus Indianerna 19p Ikaros Smederna Vargarna Smederna win, Vargarna bonus, Smederna 14p, Vargarna 15p This will result in a final standings like this; 4.,Indianerna 19p 5. Dackarna 16p 6. Vargarna 15p 7. Smederna 14p.
  9. Vetlanda have the track covers on but a larger rain weather moving in from the south over Småland so the Vetlanda and Västervik might be affected. Possible also the meeting in Motala,
  10. Maybe, maybe not, its hard to say at the moment. you can follow the rain at : http://www.smhi.se/vadret/nederbord-molnighet/radar-blixt-sverige-1.27021 For Smederna-Västervik there is allot of smoke in the area from the massive forest fire about 60km north-northeast from Smederna's track. I don't know if this will affect the meeting. However if the visibility is too low the meeting cannot go ahead. A meeting in Västervik got postponed last season due to fog, so there is a risk that the smoke will affect Smederna's meeting.
  11. Holder despite being fit to ride have to wait until next week since the rules for replacement of long-time injures rider, says that a replacing rider stays in the squad for a minimum of 28 days regardless if the rider he/she replaces returns from injury earlier then 28 days. Holder will be back next week since it is 28 days on Monday next week.
  12. Ikaros Smederna - Rospiggarna live on Eurosport 1 18.00 BST / 19.00 CEST / 20.00 EEST http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=77345
  13. Preview Swedish Elitserien 2014, round 12 Televised meeting: Ikaros Smederna - Rospiggarna, live at Eurosport 1 18.00 BST / 19.00 CEST / 20.00 EEST Race card: https://www.mediafire.com/?rlfuf6yr9g49gb8 Current standings: http://www.svemo.se/sv/Grenar/Speedway/Elitserien2014/Serietabell/ Live results: http://www.svemo.se/sv/Grenar/Speedway/ Ikaros Smederna – Rospiggarna: Ikaros Smederna Davey Watt Pawel Przedpelski Grzegorz Zengota Oliver Berntzon Peter Karlsson Mikkel Michelsen Magnus Zetterström Rospiggarna Andreas Jonsson Jonas Davidsson Kim Nilsson Timo Lahti Mads Korneliussen Chris Harris Andzejs Lebedevs Smederna are currently in 7th place, they have lost the latest meetings in the final heats. Partially becasue of coaching errors (not using the reserves to the max). With Kenni and Laguta unavailable because of injury, Smederna probably will struggle tonight. I predict that Rospiggarna will take the win and the aggregated bonus point. Jonas Daviddson is listed but I don't if he will ride or if they will use R/R. I think he will ride though. Västervik – Indianerna: Västervik Krzysztof Kasprzak Tomasz Jedrzejak Hans Andersen Tobiasz Musielak Peter Ljung Mathias Thörnblom Ludvig Lindgren Indianerna Fredrik Lindgren Cameron Woodward Piotr Protasiewicz Antonio Lindbäck Niels-Kristian Iversen Joel Andersson Mikael Max Västervik are in 8th and last place and in their final home meeting this season. They are 7p behind Smederna and need to win all of their remaining meetings and also win the aggregated bonus point in at least two of those wins, to pass Smederna. Indianerna have been very strong at home but have not been doing that good at away meetings. I think that Västervik might have a chance at winning this but it will be tough. Piraterna – Dackarna: Piraterna Greg Hancock Bjarne Pedersen Matej Zagar Linus Sundström Darcy Ward Anton Rosén Fredrik Engman Dackarna Joonas Kylmäkorpi Alexander Loktaev Nicki Pedersen (K) Michael Jepsen Jensen Krzysztof Buczkowski Dennis Andersson Robin Aspegren This will probably be the best/most exciting meeting this week, too bad that it is not televised. Piraterna and Dackarna are both fighting to stay within top 6. I think Piraterna will win this and secure a place in the play offs. Elit Vetlanda – Vargarna: Elit Vetlanda Tai Woffinden Emil Sajfutdinov Jaroslaw Hampel (K) Tomas H Jonasson Bartosz Zmarzlik Jacob Thorssell Magnus Karlsson Vargarna Peter Kildemand Jason Doyle Martin Vaculik Daniel Davidsson Adrian Miedzinski Ricky Kling Pontus Aspgren I think that there isn't really that much to say about this one, if Vetlanda do their job, they should be able to take a comfortable win.
  14. thanks, It does, according to FIM Long track qualifying is more important then a SEC round.
  15. Valsarna have decided to contract Thomas H Jonasson as replacement for Nermark. http://www.svt.se/nyheter/regionalt/varmlandsnytt/valsarna-varvar-succeforare
  16. OK, it was probably a miss-translation by google then. It seems that Unibax Torun is for sale? https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=pl&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pomorska.pl%2Fapps%2Fpbcs.dll%2Farticle%3FAID%3D%2F20140731%2FZUZEL92%2F140739874&sandbox=1
  17. Kenni Larsen participation in the Danish champ. is quite uncertain. He had a crash a little over a week ago and still suffers from a concussion.
  18. Nope I haven't heard or read anything for several weeks, in best of cases he'll be back against Smederna's away meeting against Indianerna on the 12th of August but I don't count on it.
  19. not very good racing tonight, gating was too important tonight, except for Laguta's pass in this heat. Probably riders protesting against Gdansk not paying what they owe the riders. THJ refused to ride and a couple of years ago Gdansk didn't pay Billy Forsberg either, ultimately leading to Billy retiring, although he have made a comeback this season.
  20. According to Sportowefakty, THJ refuses to ride for Gdansk since they owe him money, it also says that today's meeting is attended by less then 1000 spectators.
  21. I guess it has to be in the beginning or in the end of the season. If there will be a GP in NZ next year as well then NZ and AUS Gp has to be on the same "trip". So that the riders does not have to spend lots of money twice to get them and their equipment down there.
