1. Workers at work: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BxwmMuJCMAEMFaB.jpg:large yes that is correct.
2. The problem is that the lights over the start area aren't working but the other lights at the track are working. So I would assume that those particular lights are supplied by a different power cabinet and that power cabinet which supplies the start area lights is where the problem is. Also it seems that there are problems outside the track as well.
3. The problem seems to be with a power cabinet. Power company have staff at location to fix the problem but I don't know when that will be. Iwan said that if problem is not fixed bore 21.30 (17 minutes from now) ESP have to abort showing the rest of the meeting.

5. It wouldn't be more then fair when you have in mind all those years Nicholls and Harris got a wild card each because of his nationality.
6. Meeting can be discussed using spoiler tags:
anything that can spoil the meeting for others
It will look like this:
7. Well Vetlanda's track is all about gating (and good engines) and you know, Harris and gating....
8. First post updated with info for tomorrow's semi final between Indianerna and Piraterna.
9. A quite dull meeting IMO (which was expected with the Vetlanda track) but tomorrow should hopefully be better.
10. When did they change that? I checked yesterday and then it stated that it was a delayed broadcast.
11. Current standings can be found here: http://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Competition/DrivingSchedule/CompetitionLiveResult.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Columns=CompetitionInfo,Branch,Name,Arena,Organizer,FromDateShort&Datefilter=Today&pagesize=10&CompetitionId=4125&ShowAll=true
12. First heat was as expected and I think we will see allot of this (from the gate) tonight.
13. I agree. It has happened before and will happened again to professional sportsmen/women but the authorities doesn't have much choice then to give him a ban. I think he could be "relieved" that it was "only" 12 months and not 24 months which seems to be a standard ban for a first time doping offence (in general).
14. BTCC: http://www.btcc.net/2014/05/28/btcc-introduces-first-mandatory-alcohol-testing-in-british-motor-sport/
15. Home team can choose if they want 1/3 or 2/4. Helmet colours are also chosen but it has no significance on gate selection since the helmet colour is just for identification. So just because a rider is wearing a blue or red or white or yellow helmet does not mean that they have to be placed at a certain gate.
16. Maybe maybe not but if you always are going with "safe bets" you aren't going make any "big wins". Arnhems isn't that far from Denmark either "only" 600km from Vojens. So I think that Arnhem would have a slightly wider market then just NL+Western Germany. Eindhoven (90km away) also have flights from/to UK (MAN and STN) as well as several Polish cities and also Copenhagen.
17. *edit I found it. http://www.fim-live.com/fileadmin/alfresco/Starting_List_-_501-06_-_Lonigo,_15.09.2014.pdf
18. Zagar was indeed a temporary replacement for Holder. Pawlicki is/was a replacement for Greg so you can't use R/R for a rider that is not in the squad. However they can use R/R for Pawlicki instead and since his average is the highest in the squad it won't make any difference compared to R/R for Greg. I don't know about Janusz, I assume that he rides, at least I haven't seen any info that contradicts this. Perhaps with Hampel's form, perhaps Vetlanda wanted to strengthen that pairing by putting Kolodziej there.
19. I would think so too and we've talked about it before as well: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=69422&page=5&hl=gelredome&do=findComment&comment=2163979
20. Maybe maybe not, does not matter, answer the question.
21. A 6 months ban wouldn't be a proper 6 month ban since the season ends in October and why do you think a rider turning up drunk to a Grand Prix should get (in reality) a just as low (or possible even lower) sentence as a rider who drilled a few holes in his silencer.?
22. Alcohol is in motorsport considered a doping offence according to Wada's and FIM's rule. Surely since there isn't any "mistake" from his side (he didn't get intoxicated by mistake/he drank the alcohol on purpose) he should receive the same ban length as others who have been convicted of doping offence.
